It seed like Emu agreed with him on getting back to them.
And it looked like neither of them would have to wait long, as the clean-up had already comnced!

Emu grew to disproportionate sizes before it split up into hundreds of black tendrils and devoured the rest of the corpses of the fallen High-Rank Monster Kings.
CHOMP! CHOMP!
Emu made quick work of all their dead bodies before it turned its glittery eyes in Azmond's direction.
Emu seed to understand that it wasn't the only one that got stronger after it devoured the existence of the organisms it consud.
"Hmm?" Azmond looked toward Emu's expectant gaze before he said, "Thank you, little buddy."
And that was all it took for Emu to have a positively splendiferous reaction!
"Mhmu! Mhmu!"
Emu's squeaks were followed by an imnse golden aura being released from it as it nearly covered everything within a ten thousand mile radius!
WAAAA!!
It blazed and fluctuated in the sky!
However, before it could get too out of hand, a soft palm ca crashing down on Emu's head!

Following such a devastating attack, Azmond said, "You really like to go overboard with your enjoynt, huh, Emu?"
His voice echoed out in an exasperated tone as he looked at the terrified looks on all the Monster Queen's faces sitting in the black do with him.
Even Spiritfla and the gazellekin were trembling in the corner upon feeling an aura even more powerful than so of the Nine Monster Emperor's.
However, all it took was a hand movent by Azmond, and...
SWISH!
A warm green aura was released from his palm as it spread throughout everybody in the black do, subsequently causing their fearful looks to turn into soothed and calm expressions.
Following such a group calming ceremony, Azmond's voice echoed out in a soft tone as he said, "No need to worry; that was just my sword."
"..." "..." "..."
Even the Monster Queen's beca speechless after hearing what the source for such an extre aurawell into the Tribulation Transcendence Realmwas.
But it looked like everybody wasn't stunned speechless as Ember climbed further up Azmond's lap before she said, "What kind of sword do you have that it can release an aura of its own?"
Her gaze traveled around the chiseled muscles of Azmond before she saw the miniaturized version of Emu's 'Quantum Katana Flux Form' on his back.
The katana was only around 3 feet long, but Ember could feel sothing indescribable being emitted from it!
"It's gorgeous" She mumbled with a slightly entranced expression.
BZZZTT!!
Emu seed to appreciate such praise as it started to vibrate once again.
"Emu is special to ," Azmond said with his kind eyes locked onto his katana.
He may not show it much, but if there was one being that always had his back, then it was Emu.
And that wasn't to ntion that a lot of his power ca from the assistance of Emu, so if anyone deserved his kindness, then it was definitely going to be Emu!
"Mhmu Mhmu?"
Emu had never received so much attention in its life, but it wouldn't deny that it felt good to have so many eyes on it!
"So its na is Emu?" Ember asked with a curious gaze.
She had heard of people naming their swords before; however, she had never t a sword fanatic who nad their sword such an exotic na.
"How did you co up with the na?" She asked, her curiosity having been piqued.
"Well I nad Emu Emu, because that's the sound that Emu makes," Azmond replied with an awkward expression.
He wasn't one to get embarrassed over things, but his naming sense when it ca to Emu was quite simple-minded now that he looked back on it.
But would he change Emu's na because of that?
Nah.
Emu liked its na, and everyone else liked it as well, so he felt no need to 'fix' sothing that wasn't broken to begin with.

Ember wasn't following. She had heard no such sound the entire ti she had known the Reaper.
Azmond looked at the intense curiosity in everyone's eyes as he figured it wouldn't hurt him to tell them of Emu, so he said, "Yeah, watch this."
Following his words, Emu started to wiggle and squirm in its katana form before it jumped up into the air and landed on the hard black surface!
"This is Emu," Azmond announced.
Emu bobbed around the interior of the black do, looking at all the new 'not-als'.
anwhile, the Monster Queen's and the two Kings were going through a maelstrom of emotions upon seeing the true form of Azmond's sword.
"A sli!?" They all exclaid with shocked expressions.
Not a single one of them had ever heard of a sli that was capable of morphing into a weapon, much less releasing an aura in the Tribulation Transcendence Realm!
"How can a sli be so strong?" The snakekin Monster Queen asked.
And she wasn't the only one, as all the other Monster Queens chid in with their own quandaries, but Azmond simply looked at them all before he responded, "That's because Emu is Emu!"
The whole crowd went silent after hearing such a nonsensical response.
But their thoughts were interrupted not long after as Azmond looked out the large hole in the black do before he mumbled, "They are eating without "
The aura inside the black do beca a little gloomy as his expression turned a little lancholic.
"??" "??" "??"
None of the Monster Queen's knew what was going on, but they assud that it was likely nothing good when they saw the look on Azmond's face.
However, Ember, on the other hand, decided to do sothing a little bold as she wrapped her slender arms around his neck before she whispered, "An ergency?"
"Mhmm This is an ergency," he replied in a tone of urgency.
He completely ignored the wanton moves made by Ember as he looked toward the city below with his divine sense and saw Calista and Boundless dining at the restaurant they were supposed to eat at together!
