Hundreds of various monsters were sprawled out across the bloodied landscapethe landscape that was once a beautiful green forest had now beco nothing more than the bloodied aftermath of an insatiably voracious sli.

A sli who was currently in the middle of devouring every monster that it killed had its small body distorted and transford into sothing thousands of tis its size as it traveled around the battleground like a bottomless vacuum.

...

"Mhmu!" It's cute sounds squeaked out as it looked around and saw that every monster it had killed had already been consud by it's blackhole-like stomach.

It anxiously looked around, trying to find sothing that it could devour. That was when it saw the main course of this entire 'buffet'.

"Mhmu! Mhmu" Its excited expression morphed into one of apprehension as it stared down the far larger corpse of the colossal Troll.

It didn't know if it could consu the entirety of such a large monster in one gulp...

That one was hundreds of tis larger than the corpses of these 'mob' monsters after all.

'...'

Those 'mob' monsters in the Golden Core and Nascent Soul Realm would definitely be rolling in their graves right now if they heard such blatant impertinence co from the small black slis' thoughts.

"Mhmu!" Emu built up its courage as it looked the enormous corpse up and down before extending its warped mouth as far as it could go!

**Whoop!** **Chomp!**

It's 'mouth' barely made it around the entire Trolls body, as before anyone knew any better, the corpse disappeared in but an instant.

**Chew chew!**

An eerie crunching sound soon followed as Emu consud the entire existence of the Trolla troll that could've ruled over a dium-sized kingdom if it so chose to be had been consud like an appetizer for a tiny black and gold sli...

"Mhmu!" It seed more than satisfied with such a delicious al, as if it felt like this round of eatings could hold it through the 'tough' months to co.

After it made it thought the 'hard' tis where Azmond focused on cultivation, it would then be able to go out and hunt even stronger monsters with its companion!

It couldn't begin to articulate just how much it was anticipating such a glorious montthe mont when it and its companion would hunt every single thing that held even the slightest animosity for them!

...

"Hmm" Azmond watched Emu go through a multitude of various emotions with an inquisitive look on his face.

"It looks like he has had quite the al laid out for himself... I was planning on taking that corpse and selling it when I made it to a large, cosmopolitan-like human settlent. However, it looks like I can't do that now." He said with an exasperated tone.

"... Well, it is what it is. I guess this situation works out quite well too. Gaining an even stronger companion will only benefit for the most part, plus I have the vague feeling that Emu can add to my personal combat power in so way unbeknownst to the current ."

His thoughts swirled around for a mont before he was suddenly reminded of sothing.

"Hmm. I might as well check the interface of that little troublemaker while I'm waiting for my breakthrough's remnant energies to subside."

Following such words was the subsequent activation of his Discerning Quantum Eye.

A bright light flashed as an extensive pop-up appeared in his vision.

[Emu: {[Tier 0: Level 89, {[Stats: Strength: 3456, Defense: 3568, Qi: 5656]}, {[Developnt Phase: Adult]}, {[Main Abilities: Body Morph: Can morph into the shape of anything imaginable (stats of what it morphs into increase with every level or exterior amplification of 'Emu'), {[Unlimited Devour: Can devour and assimilate anything in existence}], {[Other Skills: Possesses the entire life's accumulations of every existence it consus and assimilates, so the number of skills it possesses is already incalculable]}, Description: Existence-Bonded-Companion of the User of the 'Boundless System'.

Origin: ????, Background: ????, Potential: ???]

"..." He was more than a little baffled by the unbelievable sight presented in front of him.

The little buddy he had been playing around with already surpassed his level before he even knew what happened

"..."

'Is Emu really the main character of the story?'

He couldn't think of any other conclusions that would allow him to make this make sense...

How else could Emu already be 89 levels into Tier 0, with its stats already so absurdly high???

Those stats didn't just correlate to an additive increase, no. They were a multiplicative increase, and every point further in each stat was a trendous increase to the respective area of improvent.

Emu's stats skyrocketing straight up from the hundreds to the thousands was more than a ten-fold increase in strength.

It had to be approaching the thousands or even tens of thousands of fold increases

It wouldn't be an understatent to say that Emu now had the strength of a master cultivator in the initial stages of the Half-Step Void Refining Realmaning it had completely absorbed the entire existence that was the colossal Troll!

"This harmless-looking sli is the true monster here" He said with a wry smile before turning his attention back to his still ongoing breakthrough into the Late-Quantum Foundation Establishnt Realm.

A slightly competitive smirk erged on his usually stoic face as he felt a growing urge to increase his strength even faster than before!

'I can't allow that little guy to get stronger than , now can I?? I refuse to be weaker than my little Emu.'

His resolve flared up like an unstoppable eruption as he perfected his breakthrough into the Late-Quantum Foundation Establishnt Realm!

**Whoosh!** **Whoosh!**

The Qi bombarded him one last ti in a dazzling attempt to thwart his impending breakthrough!

Dark red blood gushed out of his body in massive quantities as his sturdy body began to fall apart from the inside out!

"Tch." He clicked his tongue through gritted teeth as he 'noticed' half of his body was no longer there.
