"Go follow that king to the Blood Realm," Anisha said.

"Yes, my queen." Natasha nodded.

A few days passed, and Ian and Natasha made their way to the territory of the dark race Shamans to use their teleportation formation. It was Natasha who paid the teleportation fee with the swipe of his black credit card.

Thanks to the teleportation formation, they appeared at the junction of the Forest of Death and the Blood Realm in the blink of an eye. Following that, they rushed to the Barakus City, a small city that most rcenaries and visitors of the Blood Realm stop by. The Barakus was small but prosperous, as it was the city where trade with outsiders mostly took place.

Several organizations in Barakus City had significantly boosted the growth of their economy. First, the Barakus Adventurer’s Guild. This Adventurer’s guild is a hub of tasks and missions. The Residents of the Blood Realm would post tasks from F-rank to S-rank from ti to ti. Not only the residents, soldiers, all walks of life, and even the Vampire Council send task scrolls every month.

Why would the vampire council need to issue tasks in the Adventurer’s Guild when they had their own army to do tasks for them? Because it’s a lot cheaper and more efficient. After all, the army cannot be stationed and deployed casually. The cost to maintain the army active was astronomical and usually, and they are usually only deployed in warti.

There are too many mouths to feed and potions to consu. After all, every soldier’s belly is different depending on their strength. Of course, the Vampire Council still issues those truly important tasks to the soldiers or so secret tasks, promotional tasks, etc...

The Adventurers are ranked from iron, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond as the highest rank. Anyone can beco an adventurer regardless of race. Even Adventurer werewolves could enter the Blood Realm if they were registered adventurers. Of course, if they cause trouble, it’s easy to identify them, and the punishnt is to revoke their license as an Adventurer. This was enough to prevent malicious intentions and prevent the exploitation of the adventurer profession.

Aside from the Adventurer’s Guild, there is also the second most popular force with various branches in the Curtained Imperium, which was none other than the Assassin’s Vow. The Assassin’s Vow, like the Adventurer’s Guild, receives issued tasks but only related to assassination. The remuneration of the tasks depends on the strength of the target, the difficulty of execution, and even the strength of the figures around the target, if applicable.

It was very expensive to hire assassins in the Assassin’s Vow organization. Only people with high positions could barely afford to hire them. Not just anyone is qualified to join, as the Assassin’s Vow was known for its strict adherence to quality over quantity. So far, there are only a hundred mbers in the Entire Curtained Imperium, and they’re recognized as the strongest assassins, and there’s even a ranking released by the organization that determines their strength and completion rate.

There was also the rchant’s Guild, which isn’t any worse than the Adventurer’s Guild and Assassin’s Vow in terms of influence. The rchant Guild had a simple purpose. They act as middlen, brokers, and facilitate transactions between parties at a fair price. Most importantly, they are the manager for the largest market in the Blood Realm!

Lastly, there was the All-Knowing Eye Guild. They’re an intelligence organization that buys information from people of all walks of life and sells that information. Aside from that, they also have a group of people that specializes in intelligence collection, espionage, etc...

One of their famous works was that they were able to predict that a group of human hunters would invade the Curtained Imperium to attack one of the major camps of the Orc Race. The Orc race didn’t listen at all. As a result, a group of A-rank hunters had decimated the camp, resulting in utter annihilation, with no survivors.

There are multiple instances of their accurate predictions. Well, it’s more accurate to say their gathered intelligence instead of prediction. However, even the lowest level of information they sell would make an entire country bankrupt, which makes their availability less desired.

At this ti, two figures donned in obes entered the city. Ian didn’t even have to conceal his appearance at all. Even with his unique purple-eyes, purple hair, and all purple attire. He didn’t attract too much attention. The hustle and bustle in the city made Natasha looked like country bumpkin as her head constantly road in the streat.

In the streets, there are Orcs, Zombies, Adventurer Werewolves, Vampires, Ghouls, and few Liches, Shamans, Undead Skeletons, Dhampirs, Hexblood, Arachnids... How could Ian attract attention whehn the street has such diversity of dark races?

Few spared him few glances at most before they lost interest. No one could even connect Ian to the previosly announced King as Ian’s looks this ti was almost like a different person!

Ian looked at the creature with half upper female body and half spider lower body. ’Isn’t this an Arch-Arachnid? What is it doing here?’ Then, when Ian saw the diamond plated badge on its white-T shirt, his eyes showed surprise. ’A diamond-ranked Adventurer?’

There’s actually a highest-ranked Diamond Adventurer randomly waking in the street!?

Ian’s astonishnt couldn’t be blad. After all, Diamond ranked adventurers could only be counted in one hand. How strong are they? Ian didn’t really know but they are offered olive branches everywhere but their desire for freedom made it hard to recruit them.

Money? They could build a house made of gold with just a few A-rank mission or even just one S-rank mission.

Connections? As diamond-ranked adventurer, they didn’t need to force themselves to others. People would naturally want to establish friend with them.

Most Diamond-ranked adventurer’s are lone wolf except for those few that were enticed with exaggerated privileges and got rectruited by higher powers. Even the Blood Realm didn’t have a single Diamond-ranked adventurer.

’Should I rectruit her?’

Ian thought at this ti. This is a good opportunity!

Unfortunately, it was hard to approach Diamond-ranked adventurers and they disliked the attention. Even now, the crowd parted as they let the Arch-Arachid pass. The passerby didn’t dare to get on her way or even talk behind her back because that would spell death!

As Ian watched her figure blur, he gradually lost interest. "Forget it, let the Grand Elder take care of recruitnt matters."

Natasha watched the figure of the Arachnid blend into the crown before she disappeared. "So beautiful..." she said with her eyes shining.

"How strong is Diamond-ranked adventurer?" Ian asked Natasha as he didn’t really pay much attention to the matters of Adventurer’s guild.

Natasha was stunned. "Why ask ? I don’t know. I heard once that our Queen Anisha tried to recruit one but she got rejected."

"Rejected? Not surprising." Ian let out an amused chuckle. "What did she offer?"

"That’s confidential."

Natasha shook her head.

"You guys... You are in the dark how powerful Diamond-ranked adventurer’s are!?"

At this ti, a ghoul with gold-plated badge on his silvera armor exclaid.
