A full ten minutes had passed, yet the red mist inside his body couldn't seem to find what it was looking for. As a result, gradually dissipated until it completely dispersed. Ian could only feel the process helplessly and couldn't really do anything about it either.

"What does this an? Due to the lack of blood root, I can't increase the purity of my blood even with the help of external ans?"

"Then, it seems that the only way for to beco stronger faster is my system. I can also rely on the other path of aging, but it's quite slow..."

Although his strength increases with every body modification, could it be that he would stay a Lesser Vampire for a long ti?

Others only need to devour blood and quickly beco True or even Higher Vampires. While him? He needs to wait for hundreds of years. Just what kind of shitty talent does this body had that he transmigrate in?

With such a result, Ian began to feel downcast for a mont. He sat on the ground and silently glanced around his hotel room to refra his mind. The room was quite spacious to have managed to accommodate him. It could fit twenty Colossal Titans just fine, so he didn't need to worry about it being unable to fit him for the ti being. As for the furniture? Ian ordered customization that could be comfortably used by soone his size... Once again, he was surprised by the weird technological tree of the Curtained Imperium.

'Now that I think about it. It might not be that unreasonable. After all, there might be a lot of collaborations and trade of technology between the dark races. The technology tree of dark races combined might have resulted in an explosive boost in science and technology progress. Albeit, so haven't fully digested the level of technology, or it's also possible they just didn't have the right or access.'

The werewolves also experience his problem since their size could grow to a terrifying level like his. However, once his body reaches one thousand ters, that would be an entirely different story. No structure or building could fit him. He could only live outside, with nature, if that happened.

With that, Ian's mind cald down. He looked at the two giant cursed weapons with expectation. His golden eyes lit up with the corner of his lips curled upward.

"Almost eighty percent of my biomass was spent on these two. If my system could analyze the materials. It might really be possible to add the unique properties of cursed weapons to my body."

But for now, he didn't have any space biomass to afford analysis of the materials yet. Ian clicked his tongue at this. He knew that he needed to grind for biomass again. But what is the perfect place for that? In the battlefield!

"It's ti for to participate in the war again... But this ti, I'll be on the main battlefield." He flashed a shit-eating grin at the thought of a massive amount of biomass he might acquire.

...

In the center of the Blood City, a huge mound of humanoid skeleton occupied the area. With the sky and the moon as the the background, and the dark clouds that lood in the sky, the place gave off an errie athmosphere.

THUD! THUD!

Suddenly, the ground trembled under the impact of tons of weight. The ground shook continuously, disturbing the quiet peace.

"This is where they've decided to et . Seems not a good place to welco ."

Ian looked at the skeleton mound for a second before he turned his head at a familiar silhouette. It was vampire-elder Alaric that he had faced once.

'This man doesn't look a thousand years old at all. He still had a good hairline and thick hair. There's also no apparent wrinkles. Is this the benefit of being a vampire? A lower grade version of eternal youth?'

"I've been wanting to et you again after the farce in the Blood City." Said, Elder Alaric with a smile. His entire deanor scread of soone who had sat in power for a long ti.

He had donned a white robe this ti with a blue cape fluttering behind him, even with the absence of wind. He had black lensed, gold-rimd glasses.

Ian also smiled. He turned his head down to look at Alaric, whose body began to levitate. Alaric stopped once he reached Ian's head level.

Alaric chuckled as he saw Ian's amused expression. He gave off a shrug and said, "You see, I don't like being looked down upon. Still, I bet you like looking down at everyone smaller than you."

"Nah, I don't have a weird superiority complex just because I'm this big." Said Ian as he denied. "Where are the other Elders? Don't they want to et or anything? Or do they think that I'm not that important?" he chuckled.

"It's decided that by the entire council that every interaction or negotiation with them will be done through ."

Alaric shook his head, his expression turned serious, and his eyes sharp. "You are an Honorary Elder now. Although you don't possess real power like us. You're status is as real as mine... How could you not be important with your strength? And with your age, even the Grand Elder values you..."

"The Grand Elder? He actually took an interest in ?" Ian was taken aback, his eyes narrowed.

Alaric rolled his eyes, unbefitting of soone of his status. "The Grand Elder is soone who values excellent talents. How could he not?" "Although he's in seclusion all the ti. Every Elder in the council, including , reports intermittently at his coffin every once in a while."

"If you want to et him. Get rid of your Honorary Elder status and really join us for real." Alaric smiled.

'This bastard sure knows how to draw a cake... But I've got no interest in eting the so-called Grand Elder at my current strength. Not yet. Maybe once I've surpassed him.' Ian caressed his chin with his eyes fixed on the smiling Elder.

On the other hand, Alaric smugly thought. 'This kid will surely beco one of us in the future. I have to guide him well. Fortunately, I was the one chosen to communicate with him. With this, I can influence him to join my side. With his help, my voice in the council might improve.'
