"Damn it! Ian!" Daniel watched Ian descend to the ground with destructive force while spewing blood into his mouth. Then, he looked fearfully at Garry. At such close proximity, Garry's body towered over them.
Liz and Kate went beside Daniel and put a fighting stance against Garry. They were ready to die at this mont. Since they've joined the army of the Blood Realm, they knew that you need to be prepared to kill and to be killed.
"Eh? Such a flimsy lineup... Do you think you kids are enough to stop ?" A sarcastic smirk erged from Garry's face. At this mont, his eyes grew colder, and the temperature in the surroundings gradually turned hot as blue flas enveloped Garry's entire figure. "It's started for a massacre." As he said this, he unleashed a fur of blue flas toward the three.
"Shit!" Daniel swallowed.
Kate beside Daniel turned pale. She knew they couldn't resist the sea of flas coming towards them. They're just lesser vampires. How could they do sothing against the signature ability of a higher vampire?
"Even if we die, we die together." A bitter smile appeared on Liz's face.
"No!!!"
Ian put his force on the soles of his feet. In just a split second, Ian accelerated, his figure left after-images on the trail. Unfortunately, it was too late for him. Although he was already fast for his size, Garry's fla moved quicker. Not to ntion, the injury he sustained hindered his mobility, so much so that his legs felt on fire.
Just like that, the flurry of raging flas devoured the three. At this mont, a shit-eating grin appeared on Garry's face.
Ian froze, his mind blank. Everything happened just too fast. He couldn't even do anything. Ian blankly watched as the blue flas wreaked havoc everywhere. Ian felt that the world began to darken. Intense emotion swirled in his mind; Frustration, Anger, and Despair.
Frustration because of his weakness. Even with all the upgrades that he did, he couldn't even slow down Garry. What was all that he did for? All the arrogance in his heart was like a fla that was extinguished by a bucket of cold water.
The anger in Ian's heart made him dizzy. His blood pressure began to climb and he just wanted to scream with all his heart at this mont. Although he only had been with Daniel, Kate, and Liz for a short ti. They had unknowingly beco the reason why he could adapt to this new world so fast. Their company helped him imnsely to integrate into this world.
Despair? Because no matter how he feels. Ian knew that he wouldn't be able to bring it back anymore. Unless he becos an omnipotent being in the future that could bend the reality itself to resurrect them.
"You bastard!!!!" Ian scread, his eyes bloodshot.
The aura around Ian beca heavy, the injuries on his body had partially recovered thanks to his vampiric healing factor. The claws on both of his hands protruded and his kagune changed to a sharp spear.
Ian montarily lost his ability to think rationally as he began to burn his blood in exchange for strength. All on his mind now was he needed to kill the bastard in front of him!
"HAHAHA! Within the Earth is Birth!" With what seed to be an amused laugh, Garry looked at Ian's emotional outburst with elation. "Do you know what it ans?"
Ian didn't answer. He couldn't process what's happening anymore. His emotions are out of control. "Die!"
Explosively, Ian darted towards Garry. He only wanted to tear apart the enemy that had killed his team. Following that, Ian arrived in front of Garry with his claws. Ian raised his hand, gathering montum, and brought it down. His claws hit the Garry who didn't even bother to evade. The steel claws managed to penetrate Garry's skin, burrowing through deeper.
Followed by Ian's kagune tail that took the shape of a spear at this mont. Ian's kagune whizzed through the air, tearing everything apart. Every attack is backed by Ian's killing intent. He put everything he had with every blow, not holding back.
"That's it?"
The kagune spear's fierce thrust went deep through Garry's gigantic body. Yet Garry only let out a mocking grin. "Everything you do is futile. In the face of absolute strength, you're tricks are useless. Just like I've said, within the Earth is Birth!"
"Shut up!!!" Veins protruded on Ian's neck as his claws ravaged Garry's flesh. Spurts of blood dyed Ian's face as he went berserk.
A few minutes passed, and Ian's flurry of attacks began to slow down. 'This is impossible. My attacks must be doing sothing?' The initial outburst of emotions gradually cald down.
"Done?" A small spot of Garry's body had been badly damaged, with bloody holes and ripped skin due to Ian's claws. Yet, this is only a small area out of Garry's sheer body size.
Ian smiled bitterly and looked at the still-raging flas that finally began to dissipate. "I've tried so hard, and go so far, in the end, it doesn't even matter."
When the blue flas settled, a golden light flashed, revealing a thin layer of golden barrier... Inside the barrier was Barseagle who looked tired, as if he lost a hundred years of his life. He looked at Garry provocatively. "Not on my watch."
Behind Barseagle were Liz, Kate, and Daniel who passed out. Seeing this, Garry's face turned ugly as if he had eaten shit. Ian on the other hand felt that his eyes beco wet. "Y-you guys..."
"Since you've saved them. Then I'll kill the one within my reach." With a cruel gleam in his eyes, a spark of blue flas exploded out of Garry's mouth, sweeping through Ian.
Barseagle's face change. However, he couldn't do anything. He had run out of energy as he put everything he had on the golden barrier to save Daniel and others.
A few minutes passed, and the blue flas receded under Garry's watch. The smile on his face froze as he saw Ian who only had light burns on his body. "How is this possible!? Y-you!?"
