With both of them watching, the creature wouldn’t be able to retreat underground again.
Ellie withdrew her remaining flas. She also wanted to see it clearly.
It was green.
Truly humanoid—but its skin looked layered with roots.
Most of its body had been burned, yet it began regenerating at astonishing speed.
In less than five seconds, it was fully restored.
Its eyes showed fear as it looked at Ellie, trying to dive back underground—
But Leonardo appeared behind it, knife in hand.
He slashed across its abdon, confident it wouldn’t die from that.

Black flas imdiately flooded the creature’s mouth. So flas spilled outward, but most of them poured down its throat.
It couldn’t even scream anymore. Its eyes widened in agony, the only sign of its suffering.
Its body began to swell slightly, yet it still seed capable of enduring.
The flesh inside its body was burning—but it regenerated at the sa speed.
(Boss, I’ve found the Monster Core...) Ellie transmitted.

Leonardo moved at once upon hearing that, grabbing the creature with both hands to restrain it.
