Leonardo wasn’t so saint without desire.
He simply didn’t want to fall into another trap.
Instead of heading straight to his new apartnt, he returned to his old place to retrieve the key to the Last Gate.
In a forgotten corner of City Z stood an old housing complex that looked more than a century old.
The buildings were stained, cracked, and poorly maintained, carrying a gloomy atmosphere born from the bleak lives of most of its residents.
Even at working hours, so people wandered around looking half-mad. Others lay on the roadside. A few won walked back with disheveled appearances.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that sanity was rare here.
Leonardo had been one of the sane ones—even after losing both his parents at a young age.
He had only two real friends growing up:
Emma, the bookworm who wanted to change her fate through education, and
Jack, the online ga addict who rarely stepped outside.
His house wasn’t deep inside the complex. The paint had peeled off long ago. It was small, but it had two floors.
There was nothing valuable inside, so he had never worried about thieves.
He pushed the door open—it wasn’t even locked.
Strangely enough, even thieves weren’t interested in entering.
Everything remained neatly arranged, but there was nothing worth stealing. The sofa alone was full of holes.
Leonardo didn’t bother going upstairs. His room was on the first floor. It didn’t even have a wardrobe—just a bed and clothes piled on the floor.
So of those clothes were decent. He had bought them with money from his part-ti jobs. Even after becoming rich, he still felt reluctant to throw them away.
He stored all of them into his Dinsional Ring.
Including the frad photo of his deceased parents.
That was all he took.
Then he left.

In City Z stood two twin towers, completed only two years ago, each rising 1.8 kiloters into the sky.
They were the tallest structures in the city—symbols of prosperity.
The lower floors housed a massive shopping mall.
Above that, a seven-star hotel.
And above that, luxury apartnts ranging from Class 3 to Class 1.
Leonardo stepped into one of the hundred elevators in the lobby and selected Floor 239.
It wasn’t even the highest floor.
The elevator shot upward at astonishing speed. The walls were transparent glass, allowing him to see the city shrinking below.
They pierced through the clouds.
Yet it only took about thirty seconds.
When the doors opened, a luxurious corridor greeted him. Golden lines decorated the walls. There were four steel doors on that floor.
In ordinary buildings, a Class 1 apartnt would occupy an entire floor.
Here, there were four of them.
Leonardo knew there were even higher classes—but he hadn’t dared to demand that much.
He stopped at the farthest door and entered the PIN Laura had given him.
The door slid open automatically.
What greeted him was a living room so spacious it resembled the mansion interiors he had only ever seen on television.
And now—
It was his.
Excitent surged through his chest.
He stepped inside, closed the door, and threw himself onto the soft sofa.
His eyes wandered.
A wide open kitchen.
A private gym room.
A cinema-sized television.
And beyond the glass wall—
A swimming pool overlooking the entire city.
The bedrooms weren’t visible because the apartnt had two floors. The rooms were upstairs.
(Ellie, are you asleep?)
(Boss, I’m just resting.) Her voice ca quickly.
(Can you fly over one kiloter high?)
(Boss, that’s easy for now. Where are you? It feels like you’re very high up.)
(This is my new apartnt. Co here. I think you’ll like it.)
Happiness should be shared.
He could feel Ellie imdiately flying toward him, though it would take a little ti.
In front of him, two half-ter-tall eggs appeared.
When he touched them, it felt like touching steel. The shells were extrely hard.
He wasn’t even sure he could break them.
If he wanted, he could form a contract imdiately and use Beast Buff Power to accelerate their growth.
Of course, he only wanted the peacock, but he would wait for Ellie first.
Not long after, Ellie arrived—phasing through the wall in Invisible Mode before revealing herself.
Her white feathers shimred softly under the luxurious lighting.
"Boss... is this really yours?" she asked, visibly shocked by the sheer luxury.
Before Leonardo could answer, her gaze locked onto the two large eggs.
"Monster eggs? Where did you get these, Boss? Oh... a horned eagle and a peacock. Not bad. They could follow ."
