"Wu Hai, is he from the Wu Family again?"

"I’m not sure about that." Aunt i strained to recall everything about Wu Hai, but she had very little impression.

"All I rember is that his cooking skills were good. He was primarily responsible for my sister and her family’s als, and occasionally, I would eat with them."

"For so reason, Wu Hai seed to like , but he never expressed it, and I didn’t like him. We hardly spoke to each other."

"I had no idea Cui Xiaoi liked him until later when Cui Xiaoi and I were practicing and she fought fiercely. It was only then that I found out when I asked her."

"After finding out, I imdiately distanced myself from Wu Hai, giving no chance for contact. But Cui Xiaoi was still uneasy, and gradually we drifted apart."

Aunt i didn’t hide anything from Nian Shutong. In her view, the current Nian Shutong could be considered a junior, but certainly not a child.

"I will start the investigation from Wu Hai. If you have any suitable thods, feel free to use them."

Nian Shutong admired Aunt i’s approach and nodded at her, saying, "I will."

"Want to have a al? The scenery here is beautiful." Nian Shutong casually took out a piece of five-colored brocade and laid it on the ground.

The two were at the top of a small hill in a park, facing the sea. It was sunset, and the sea was covered in a layer of champagne, with warm yellow light sparkling and occasionally a few seagulls flying by. The scenery was marvelous.

"Natural beauty, people who like it, quite nice."

Aunt i also got into the mood, taking things out from her Space Button.

Exquisite tables and chairs were set up, and the five-colored brocade that Nian Shutong laid out was spread on the table.

A simple transparent vase with two champagne roses still dewy placed in the center.

Candle holders as high as fists, elegantly radiant, with a noble silver cutlery set.

"Please sit."

Aunt i invited Nian Shutong, who had planned to take out two bowls of fried sauce noodles, to sit down with a smile.

Her taste level was still too low; in matters of style, she was worlds apart from Aunt i.

After Nian Shutong sat down, Aunt i began taking out food items.

A portion of fried potato wedges, a vegetable salad, two servings of salmon, and a bottle of wine.

"Eat sothing simple."

"It’s not simple; I realize Aunt has so many things."

Aunt i, already seated, proudly said, "These are all things people from Floating Star helped grab from Little River Live’s small shop. They’re making an effort for to have a relatively comfortable quality of life."

"So it has evolved into a specialized departnt?"

"Of course, you have no idea how popular Little River Live’s small shop is!"

As Aunt i spoke, she finally noticed sothing was wrong and suddenly burst out laughing while looking at Nian Shutong.

"I forgot! What is it called? What about showing off a big sword?"

"Showing off a big sword in front of Guan Gong."

"Yes, yes! That’s it, but who exactly is Guan Gong?"

A question from Aunt i kicked off the two’s dinner atop the hill by the sea.

Nian Shutong explained Guan Gong’s story to Aunt i and also told her that any good things in the future, she would send Aunt i a share.

"That would be great; it ans I have a niece who’s considerate." Aunt i wiped her mouth with a napkin and flipped her hand to reveal a Space Button in her palm.

"This is for you from Auntie, don’t refuse."

"Inside here is your twentieth birthday gift and festival red envelopes. I have a reason for everything, and you can’t refuse."

Nian Shutong reached out to take the Space Button from the table and naturally put it away, saying, "You misunderstood, I just find your hand in the way."

"Ha ha ha ha! Good! Good child! That’s the way it should be."

After a al, the two’s relationship seed to deepen further.

After their outdoor picnic ended, the two returned to the neighborhood together.

For the next two days, Nian Shutong had no changes. She still went to class in the morning and during the day, if she had nothing else to do, she went to the library to chat with Elder Zhu.

She asked about many things from the past battles, making Elder Zhu a bit annoyed with her.

But after Nian Shutong brought two boxes of tea leaves, all was forgotten into thin air.

At the sa ti, Nian Shutong also called Ji Sisi to inform her about teaching the teachers at school for so ti. Ji Sisi naturally had no problems with this.

Two days later, the Wu Family’s banquet was about to start.

The banquet today was hosted by the Wu Family, who invited many people, with the excuse of celebrating their ancestor’s big birthday.

As for why the ancestor’s big birthday was at this ti, no one knew, and no one cared.

Sotis, you just need an excuse.

Although Aunt i wasn’t on the invitation list, she had her own ans, and a Wu Family invitation wasn’t too difficult for her.

Aunt i looked at Ye Zi behind her and an unfamiliar man with a beam on her face, saying, "I didn’t expect you to be so skilled; even Auntie couldn’t see through it."

"No matter how you look at it, he’s a handso man."

Aunt i continuously appraised the person behind her, who was Nian Shutong in a different appearance.

The two decided that Aunt i would attend while Nian Shutong would first stay in the dark and act accordingly.

"Aunt i, please behave appropriately. We should be going."

"Alright, alright, I’m going now."

Aunt i tidied herself up and took the two people behind her out.

At that mont, the entrance to the Wu Family’s house was decorated with lanterns and festoons, bustling with guests.

Wu Yi was one of the mbers of the Wu Family and was at the door greeting guests but kept looking out for the sight of Nian Shutong.

Nian Shutong hadn’t arrived yet, but Aunt i had.

"Aunt i?"

The Wu Family mbers at the door were sowhat surprised to see Aunt i, as there seed to be no connection between them. If there was a connection, it would have been during the previous auction.

The result, apparently, wasn’t very favorable.

"Why, can’t I co?"

Aunt i’s question made the person at the door naturally reply, "Certainly not, it’s our honor to have you, please co in."

Aunt i snorted coldly and entered the Wu Family’s door, followed by two people carrying gifts. No one noticed anything amiss.

The Wu Family mber at the door quickly sent a ssage on the Light Computer and continued to greet guests with a smile.

After entering with Aunt i, Nian Shutong couldn’t naturally follow into the banquet hall, so she took her gifts to an area where other gifts were stored and then patiently observed the scene there.

At this ti, where the gifts were stored, it was full of attendants from various families who were sowhat familiar with each other and chatted, but they all had decorum and didn’t talk about the host family’s matters.

"Which family are you from? You’re a bit unfamiliar."

The man Nian Shutong pretended to be was around thirty, very young and with delicate features.

"I ca with Aunt i from Floating Star."

The words Floating Star, Aunt i carried enough weight that those who initially asked politely smiled without further small talk.

For a mont, the place, which had so sound, fell silent.
