“Good,” Shutong said as she imdiately put the Little Silver Snake on her wrist. Her strength hadn’t recovered very well, and it was a bit more reassuring to have an assistant.
Outside was a male voice, one she hadn’t heard much before.
Shutong opened the door of the house just as the person outside also pushed open the courtyard gate, walking in.

After bumping Wu Shan, Dai walked towards Shutong, supported her by the arm, and helped her lean on herself.

Wu Shan’s affectionate words made Shutong feel a bit disgusted.
