Jiang Xuxu was recollecting all of the things she knew of Qi Wu's debtholder.
The man she saw sitting in the backseat that morning was Jin Si.
After Jin Si's agency was established, he beca even more independent. Even Chang Xun was sort of set free. Hence, if Chang Xun signed Qi Wu, did that not an that Jin Si had signed her on as one of his talents?

Due to her mother's influence, she had actually watched all of Jin Si's movies before. There was nothing to nitpick about him. Although he did not have a friendly personality, he grew a fanbase because of his skills.
After all, no one in the entertainnt industry was like him. He only acted in one movie a year, and every movie would land him a Best Leading Actor award.

In the end, she decided to talk to her friends.

Seeing that, Jiang Xuxu knew that Ke Lu was busy, so she quickly replied that she was fine and let her get back to her life.

Not long after Jin Si hung up, Qi Wu's cookies were done.
He casually grabbed a cookie and took a sniff of its sweet scent. In a calm voice, he asked, "Was that a new friend you t on the show?"
Qi Wu, who was sitting opposite him, nodded.
Jin Si put the cookie into his mouth and playfully snorted. "She's as stupid as you are."
Qi Wu did not speak.
She just looked at him with cheeks puffed up in disagreent.
Jin Si was not affected at all and calmly enjoyed his delicious snack.
Then, a certain soone who claid he did not like sweet stuff finished the plate of milk-scented cookies.
He didn't even leave a piece for Qi Wu.
However, Qi Wu did not mind. She made them for Jin Si.
After Jin Si finished eating, she demurely asked, "Can you rehearse with now?"
After Jin Si was satiated, there was a lazy slant on his brows as his facial features beca much gentler. He languidly nodded.
In "Dreamland," the one-minute segnt that Qi Wu needed to perform was near the end of the plot. The girl's body gradually recovered as the dream healed her, but this ant that the boy in her dreams was about to disappear.
Naturally, the girl did not want the young man to disappear. She tried everything, even going against her treatnt, but she was still unable to stop the young man from disappearing.
She begged him to stay, but right before the young man disappeared, he rely told her to live a good life.
Qi Wu was to play out that scene where she begged the boy.
The young girl's sorrow, her pleas, and her eyes filled with love were all ant to be shown through her face and actions.
She did not want her savior to leave her. Qi Wu had to act out that desperate denial and the longing to make him stay, even at the cost of her life.
When Jin Si found out that Qi Wu was going to act out "Dreamland," he read the script in advance.
He wasn't interested in this kind of script about love and healing. Rather, he had never thought of those emotions at all.
However, when Qi Wu's eyes turned red and she bit his lower lip, Jin Si froze.
He could see himself reflected in her misty eyes.
Her face was filled with indescribable sorrow. Her lips trembled as she suppressed the painful pleading that was on the tip of her tongue.
Her slender and fragile fingers clutched at the young man's clothes. It was a struggle, and the girl's red fingertips showed that she had used all her strength.
Her voice was already choked up. There was no way to suppress how hoarse she sounded. "Don't go, please."
Jin Si's heart skipped a beat.
The indescribable emotion he felt swelled from his heart to his limbs. He did not move, and his body was tense.
It was as if fireworks had exploded in his mind. His vision suddenly beca blurry, but he could not forget the scene of Qi Wu pleading with him.
How could he leave?
Jin Si didn't even have ti to react before he instinctively said, "I'm not leaving."

Pain, sadness, trouble, anything that would affect her happiness should be kept away from her.

Jin Si coldly said, but his cold tone was an attempt to hide the chaos that ruled his mind.
He did not know why he had lost control.
However, he knew that if this continued, he would get drawn into the role even if Qi Wu wasn't.
