Chapter 1793: 1793 Ye’er’s painting

“These past days, third brother has been changing the dicine for you; the credit belongs to third brother.” She smiled.

He naturally knew that she wanted to attribute the healing of his legs to third brother, hoping he’d feel grateful toward third brother, not wanting him to keep missing her, “I am indeed thankful to third brother.”

“That’s good then.” Su Qingyue said to the servant Liu Sheng beside her, “Take good care of fourth brother.”

“I will rember, not daring to slack off even a bit.” Liu Sheng replied respectfully.

Xiao Qinghe’s gaze couldn’t move away from Su Qingyue’s face.

After so ti of recuperation, his leg injury had almost healed, but it would take a few more days for the bones to be more stable before he could practice walking.

And she…

She had been visiting him less and less.

He knew she was avoiding suspicion.

His heart felt incredibly bitter.

“Then, fourth brother, rest well. I will co and see you when I get the chance.” She turned and left.

He wanted to call her back, to have her keep him company a little longer, but he opened his lips, ultimately not making a sound.

Liu Sheng, seeing the master’s expression, knew too well of the master’s feelings for young Lady Qingyue, and couldn’t help but feel sorrowful.

“Fourth uncle, Ye’er is here!” A small figure ran into the room, rushing towards the bed where Xiao Qinghe was lying, “Fourth uncle, did you miss ?”

“I did.” Xiao Qinghe’s face showed a gentle smile, reaching out to touch Ye’er’s flushed cheek from running, “Don’t run so hastily, in case you fall…”

“I won’t. Fourth uncle, Ye’er not only walks steadily but also knows how to fight, oh, and has learned a little internal strength…” Little Ye’er reported excitedly, “Fourth uncle, don’t treat Ye’er like a child.”

“Hehe…” Xiao Qinghe laughed. Ye’er was indeed extrely cute, making him love the child from the bottom of his heart.

“Fourth uncle, when you can walk again in a while, Ye’er will take you to fly kites!” Little Ye’er said mysteriously, “Ye’er drew a picture; can fourth uncle help make it into a kite?”

“Alright.” Xiao Qinghe agreed, “What did Ye’er draw?”

“Ye’er drew a family. I’m going to bring my drawing to show fourth uncle…” Saying that, he rushed out.

When he returned, he brought a drawing in hand.

Xiao Qinghe raised his hand to wipe the sweat off Ye’er’s face, “Look at you, running so hastily again.”

“Hehe, I just know fourth uncle loves …” Little Ye’er grinned, showing a small set of bright white teeth.

Looking at his smile, Qinghe really thought he resembled third brother, sunny and brilliant, and couldn’t help but again think, Ye’er is the son of Qingyue and third brother, his gaze flickered with a mont of dimness.

Little Ye’er spread open the drawing, “Fourth uncle, look, did Ye’er draw well?”

In the drawing was a house, with four people in the yard in front of the house, Xiao Yuchuan holding Su Qingyue, while Xiao Qinghe stood aside, holding Little Ye’er’s hand.

Perhaps lacking experience, Ye’er’s drawing looked quite naive, and only through clothing and attire was it barely clear who was portrayed in the drawing.

From the drawing, Ye’er’s heart was clear; his mother belonged to his father, and Ye’er let fourth uncle hold his hand and draw this scene, probably afraid fourth uncle would be lonely.

Xiao Qinghe looked at Ye’er’s jade-snow cute little face, his gaze sowhat dazed.

If Ye’er knew he liked Qingyue, not wanting Ye’er’s parents to be together, what would he think?

“Fourth uncle, you haven’t answered, did Ye’er draw well or not?” Little Ye’er asked again, seeing fourth uncle silent.
