Ciel took two steps back. With just a simple running jump, she grabbed the window ledge on the second floor with her hand. She continuously climbed upwards along the window ledge and the protruding exterior of the building.

With the agility of an assassin, Ciel quickly climbed to the rooftop of the hospital. She began to run quickly on the rooftop.

Her running speed beca faster and faster, and her mood beca more and more excited. She completely disregarded the possibility of falling. She leaped directly from the rooftop of one hospital building to the rooftop of another building, smashing the clay tiles beneath her feet.

The broken tiles caused her center of gravity to shift slightly. Her figure instantly lost balance. She was about to fall from the edge of the rooftop.

But she quickly seized the opportunity to leap down voluntarily. The mont she landed, she directly grabbed the edge of the rooftop with one hand. Putting force into that one hand, her body hung in mid-air, swaying slightly.

Looking at the height of nearly five stories below, if she fell in the wrong posture, there was even a risk of death. But there was no lingering fear on Ciel’s face, only the excitent and thrill brought by the surge of adrenaline—there seed to be lightning flashing in her scarlet pupils.

Ciel forcefully pulled herself up, climbing back onto the rooftop. She looked down. Kitty had already led the team to the entrance of the laboratory building, but they seed to be stopped by guards.

Too slow…

Ciel started running on the rooftop again. She aid at the do-shaped building, which was one story lower and looked like an ancient castle—that was the main building of the Redemption Society hospital built over a hundred years ago, now converted into a laboratory building—and leaped fiercely from the edge of the rooftop.

Ciel’s figure fell rapidly along a parabolic trajectory. The distance of over twenty ters, like a ravine, seed to be quickly covered, but…

Her falling curve was already unable to reach the opposite rooftop. It was almost certain that Ciel would hit the wall and fall, half-dead.

But just then, Ciel, in mid-air, gathered her body and crossed her arms in front of her face—

Crash—

A sound of breaking glass rang out. Ciel’s figure, like a cannonball, smashed through the colored glass window that was used to block the view. She landed directly inside a room on the third floor. She rolled several tis on the carpet until she hit the wall and stopped.

“Heh… heh…”

Ciel, leaning against the wall, was breathing heavily. The excitent of her success numbed her pain. She completely disregarded the cuts on her face from the glass. The blood of the “Adventurer” was urging her to do sothing even more dangerous.

At this mont, a woman who had been writing at a laboratory desk was staring in shock at Ciel, who had flown in. Their eyes t directly.

Ciel slowly raised her hand and made a grasping gesture. She said, “Where is Fred? Fred Hopkins.”

Although Ciel had no gun in her hand, the female researcher who was writing seed to feel boundless fear. She said with a tremble, “He… he’s in the potion laboratory on the 2nd floor…”

Bang bang bang—

“Ah!!!!”

Gunshots rang out downstairs, but they caused the female researcher in front of her to let out a shriek. This piercing shriek seed to activate this silent hospital. The entire hospital erupted into a frenzy with the gunshots and shrieks.

“Hahaha!!!”

Looking at the female researcher who was scared half to death, Ciel burst into laughter. She withdrew her right hand, turned and walked towards the door. She directly twisted the doorknob and left the room.

Now, Ciel finally knew why the Tier 2 na of “Adventurer” was called “Fanatic.”

What she didn’t know was that her current actions were silently completing the reconstitution ritual for “Fanatic.”

Ciel ran quickly along the hallway. When she reached the stairs, she directly leaped down, crossed the railing, and flipped over to the second floor. Her movents were fluid, smooth as if they had been practiced countless tis.

Many ordinary researchers were running frantically in the hallway, trying to rush towards the stairs. Ciel directly grabbed one of them by the collar and asked, “Where is the potion laboratory?”

“Over… over there…”

After the researcher tremblingly pointed to a location, Ciel directly pushed her away and ran in the direction the researcher had pointed.

But just as Ciel was about to reach that room, a figure wearing a long black robe and a silver crow mask that had not yet been put on, erged from the potion laboratory. He looked at the chaotic hallway with a sowhat bewildered expression.

When he saw Ciel approaching, he suddenly realized sothing was wrong. He turned to run, but Ciel was faster than him—silver light flashed in Ciel’s hand. 【Deadly Blood Roland】 appeared in her hand.

Bang—

A gunshot. The spinning seed bullet shot directly at the black-robed man’s ankle, piercing his right foot.

The seed quickly sprouted in his flesh. Roots pierced through the ground, fixing him firmly in place. The man, who had originally tried to turn and escape, was hindered by the intense pain in his foot and the roots. He directly fell to the ground. His ankle was twisted and dislocated.

Ciel dodged the fleeing crowd and half-knelt in front of the man. She used the gunblade of Blood Roland to lift his chin and asked with a light laugh, “Fred?”

“I… I’m not…”

The physician lying on the ground tremblingly raised his hand and pointed inside the potion laboratory.

“He is…”

Ciel turned around and her gaze t directly with a face showing a surprised expression—in this potion laboratory, which only contained various bottles, jars, and glass instrunts, only that man remained at this mont.

“Fred?” Ciel narrowed her eyes and said.

The man Ciel was looking at had pale lips. His gaze slowly shifted downwards, looking at a bottle of potion on the table.

But a “Physician,” no matter how fast, couldn’t be faster than a bullet.

“Who… are you? What do you want?”

Fred gave up his resistance. He looked at Ciel and asked.

“Keyman,”

Ciel stood up and slowly walked towards Fred. “From the Society of rrint.”

Fred’s pupils constricted slightly. His face was filled with disbelief.

Keyman? Society of rrint?

How is this possible…?

Why would the Keyman interfere with my ritual…?
