A series of faint sounds arose near Ciel’s feet. She looked down and saw a fist-sized terrifying creature, a patchwork of flesh and grey fur, crawling towards her feet with twisted limbs.
Over a dozen black eyes, like green beans, rotated towards Ciel. Its mouth, filled with jagged teeth and too small to fit even a finger, opened towards Ciel, emitting a hissing roar.
A silver light flashed. Deadly Blood Roland materialized in Ciel’s right hand. She held the gun with both hands, aiming directly at the terrifying creature on the ground.
“Gurgle—” Upon seeing Ciel’s action, the terrifying creature let out a strange cry, then turned and fled, disappearing into the bloody mist.
Ciel resisted the dizziness and chaotic whispers brought by Blood Roland’s side effects, her hand holding the gun trembling slightly.
In her vision, thin black tendrils had already wrapped around Blood Roland’s barrel, even binding Ciel’s hands to it.
Blood-red Rolands blood along those tendrils. The blood-red petals reflected unfamiliar faces, so angry, so gentle—the only commonality was that those faces looked blown apart, fragnted.

This wasn’t so body-locking ability... nor so hallucinogenic toxin. If it were either of those, everything should have vanished the mont the save file switched.
But now, not only did the bloody mist before her not disappear, it actually thickened. Even breathing felt like drinking blood, leaving a sticky, rusty taste in her throat.

A harsh crow’s cry made Ciel instinctively look up.
At this mont, her vision seed to pierce through countless layers of bloody mist, locking onto the “creature” overhead.
It was a massive three-headed monstrous bird. It vibrated its wings in the air. Its wings lacked feathers, instead covered with black, hair-like filants.
Crow’s cry... Before encountering misfortune earlier, she had also seen a black raven.

With no ti to carefully identify it, Ciel directly raised the Blood Roland in her hand, aid at the circling behemoth, and pulled the trigger.
“Bang—!”
Ciel only felt so of her flesh and blood being violently drained. Blood Roland’s muzzle spurted a large amount of blood mist. A deep red projectile shot out, pierced through layers of bloody mist, and directly entered the behemoth’s body.
However, the bullet passed straight through it, flying further into the sky—the giant creature seed to exist on a different plane from Ciel altogether; the bullet had no effect on it whatsoever.
“Gurgle—”
Suddenly, a gurgling sound, like that of an abyssal monster, echoed before Ciel. She imdiately raised her gun, aiming at the bloody mist in front.
In her vision, opposite the dense layers of bloody mist, a terrifying humanoid monster holding a bone club, its body half-decayed, raised the bone club and approached Ciel.
Dark green liquid, like concentrated sulfuric acid, dripped continuously from the monster’s body. It raised the bone club in its right hand towards Ciel, while its left hand placed a rodent skull into its mouth.
The next mont, green pus was spat into the small, twisted skull. A piercing, sharp shriek echoed in Ciel’s mind, nearly causing her spirit to collapse.
Such a strong sealed artifact!
Ciel didn’t hesitate, pulling the trigger directly!
Bang—!
A bloody Roland blood on the monster’s chest. The monster lost all resistance and fell backward stiffly.
But the fall of one monster attracted more—the sealed artifact in its hand summoned all its companions!
Sharp hisses began to rise and fall. More monsters erged from the bloody mist, waving bone clubs and approaching Ciel.
Just then, Ciel’s figure distorted again. The expensive dress changed into a black church long robe. An inexplicable fire began to burn from Ciel’s chest.
Very lucky, “Judicator” Ciel, at this mont, returned to Ciel’s control.
The unbearable sounds caused Ciel’s head to split. Shrieks and screams echoed in her mind. The more these monsters affected Ciel this way, the more her anger grew limitlessly.
“Heh...” Ciel glared angrily at the monsters, exhaled a long breath. Silver light flashed, the Blood Roland in her hand vanished. She raised her right hand, index and middle fingers extended, waved forward slightly. Four black shadows surged out directly from behind her.
The monsters rushing over collapsed under the black shadows in an instant. Pus-like liquid, seemingly poisonous, flowed from their bodies onto the black gravel ground, emitting sizzling white smoke.
The deaths of these monsters didn’t make Ciel feel any better.
Instead, a larger scale of tragic howls exploded in Ciel’s mind. Under the shroud of bloody mist before her, more monstrous shadows began to erge from the darkness.
Those terrifying creatures, like demons and ghosts, ran wildly, roaring furiously.
Attempting to torture Ciel to death in this manner.
