When Charles got out of his office, he was surprised to find out that instead of monsters attacking this ti, it was as if a person had launched a bomb.
This confused him, because, here in this facility, he had never experinted on bombs before. Although it was true that there were bombs present in the facility, they were just hand grenades, and nothing more than that.
From the explosion that had occurred, it was obvious that the bomb was not just a grenade, but a bigger one.
"Wow Mr. chairman! I didn’t know that you were experinting on so of these dangerous weapons! Now, it seems that you are using the funds that we are providing well." At this mont, one of the investors exclaid as he looked at Charles.
"That’s right. If you are going to continue researching on sothing like this, you should tell us so that we can invest even more. During the ti that you have completed your research, then we can at least get sothing bigger." Another one chid in.
"With this, we can also get involved in the underworld businesses. I was already getting tired of getting involved in only the dicine industry."
"But I have to give it to you. You kept this as a secret that we didn’t even know. But, it is not bad to let us know by showing us the prowess of the bombs that you have already created."
At this mont, these investors imdiately began complenting Charles. But he on the other hand had already been confused.
What bomb? What experint? What research? What prowess? He had not gotten involved in sothing like that at all. Since he believed that getting sothing like dicine for smooth skin and so on was easier to get, he had been dealing in the drugs industry, just to make sure that the investors continued investing more money in the facility.
But, the weapons that they were talking about, that was sothing that he had never thought about. Even though he wanted to change the perspective of the world, he didn’t want to do that by depending on so stupid weapons.
He was soone that depended on biological products. And that was just what he had been doing in project 3102. Although the project had not been completed, it could already be considered a success, as it was just a matter of ti before he completed it.
As the dust cleared, he finally saw that there was a car that was standing on the other end of the devastated area. He frowned as he had never seen such a car before.
And since that was the case, he couldn’t help but wonder how this car managed to reach on this island. Could it be that there was soone that had managed to sneak it here?
Just as his thoughts were running wild, the doors of the car suddenly opened. Then, alighting from the car were four people, two male two female.
Charles squinted his eyes as he realized that, this group, three of them were wearing armors on their bodies. But, he had co to a realization that all of them were young.
In the next mont, he was surprised when he suddenly saw that a wolf suddenly ca from behind the car. And it did not attack the group, but instead, it ca to stand beside a certain young man.
’Who are these people? And, can they control the wild animals? Perhaps they are the ones that are behind the reason as to why the wild animals were more than what we had planned for.’ Charles’ thoughts begin running wild.
"Mr. chairman, could this be the group that was in charge of testing the bomb? Why are they so young?"
"Hehe! Can this be a group of cosplayers? Are they here to entertain us?"
"You might actually be right. Look at the armors that they are wearing, they look like ancient warriors."
"Hii! Look at how sharp that sword is. Wow what a majestic battle axe!"
"But what is the wolf doing there? Could it be a pet that has been raised since it was young? It looks bigger than normal."
At this mont, this group of investors began clamoring once again. They looked at the group of four with shining eyes, as if they were expecting sothing interesting to happen in the next mont.
It wasn’t long before the group of four began approaching them steadily. It was also at this mont that Charles finally realized sothing. From the expressions on their face, it was obvious that they were not coming with good intentions.
Even so, Charles was not afraid of them. This was his own ho ground. As for how this group managed to get here, that was sothing that he had to investigate after he was done with them.
"Who is the owner of the facility here?" The mont that the group reached in front of them, a young man with black hair questioned. His face was cold and indifferent. But still, one could easily tell that he was angry at sothing from his voice.
"I am. So young man, tell what it is that you want here in my facility?" Charles questioned. At the sa ti, the hands behind his back had already pressed on a button that was on the watch that he was wearing on his wrist.
He wasn’t sure about the intentions of the people in front of him, but he had to be prepared for anything. In case they wanted to attack him, then he would have no choice but to use his trump cards.
"Hehe. How ironic. You actually kept here for over 10 years, but you don’t even know . It is no wonder that almost all the people that you brought here want to kill you." Henry laughed coldly as he replied.
At this mont, since he had already found the target that he was looking for, he didn’t even bother to hide the anger that was within him.
He had already wasted 10 years of his life while doing so stupid labor without paynt in this facility. This had already wasted him. For that reason, he had to make sure that soone paid for this.
At this mont, both Sarah and Olivia were surprised when they heard Henry’s words. They had never expected that Henry had been in this facility for over a decade now.
They themselves had already gotten tired of staying here after just a few months. They couldn’t help but wonder how it felt for soone to be here for several years continuously.
And since Henry seed young, it was obvious that he had been brought here when he was so young, unlike them who had been brought here when they had already beco adults.
They couldn’t help but pity him. After all, considering that he was a man, it was obvious that he was doing the hard labor of transferring tals from one place to another. That implied that, during the past 10 years, he had been suffering.
They looked at Adam and noticed that just like Henry, he too had a chilling expression on his face. It was obvious that he too was infuriated.
Henry wasn’t ready to start bickering with soone. Instead, with incredible speed, he punched towards Charles.
Charles who had never expected that Henry was going to attack in the first mont was hit in the guts.
Gah!
Charles got onto his knees, as he held his stomach, feeling the intense pain that had already begun spreading in his body. His eyes had already widened, as he suddenly felt like vomiting all the food that he had ate not long ago.
"You...you!.." Charles struggled to point his finger at Henry, as he wanted to berate him. This was the first ti that he had been hit, ever since he beca a scientist.
"Eh, even the chairperson is part of the cosplay? This is going to be fun." A dumb young man said as he looked at Charles who was on the ground.
When Charles heard his words, he nearly burst in anger. Not being able to hold it anymore, he shouted, "What are you idiots waiting for? Take care of this bunch of unruly kids!"
This ti, he didn’t care whether the investors were going to see the thing that he was researching on or not. At this mont, he had decided that Henry and his group had to die a cruel death.
Although he was surprised that Henry was actually part of the group that he had previously kidnapped, he didn’t care. To him, as long as they served their purpose, that was just enough.
As for their life, what did that have to do with him? Since he was strong, and had enough abilities to take them here, then they belonged to him!
The mont that his words fell, Henry and the group suddenly felt that there was sothing that was approaching them at a fast speed.
In fact, it was not just one of them, but at least three. Their eyes narrowed, as they looked at their surroundings.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three figures suddenly landed on the ground heavily, raising a dust of cloud. And when the dust cleared, the group of investors was imdiately horrified.
What had appeared this ti was the sa humanoid figures. Other than their eyes, they had no any other facial features. Additionally, they were all wearing black suits.
At this ti, Charles spoke once again. "Hehe, it might be true that the security personnel of the facility has been cleared out, but who said that I can continue staying here if I don’t have an assurance of my safety? Behold sothing that I have been researching on..."
Charles was just about to continue boasting with his arms widely spread when suddenly, Henry grabbed him by the neck.
"Do you believe that I have the ti to hear your nonsense?" Henry questioned. And in the next mont, without even giving a warning, he broke one of Charles’ arms. This was the arm that did not have a wrist watch on it.
"Aaah!" A miserable screen spread in the surroundings, completely terrifying the investors who had already been shaken by seeing the humanoid figures.
At this mont, the humanoid figures attacked. Since Henry had already taken Charles hostage, and he had already broken one of his hands, these creatures decided to attack him.
