[The host can get assistance from the system.]

"...."

Henry did not know how to respond to that. At the sa ti, his thoughts had already began rushing, thinking that perhaps the system was going to unlock a skill that was related to the mage profession on his space affinity, so that he could get it.

But even then, he went ahead and asked the system about the thod that was going to enable him to get what he wanted, and that was a thod that he could utilize in order to be able to level up his mage profession.

Of course, the leveling up potion was definitely out of question. It might be true that it would be capable of enabling him to level up quite faster, but even then, he was not willing to weaken his profession in any way. So, he wanted to do it the natural way.

[The host can simply take a loan from the system.]

The mont that the system ntioned the word loan, that was the ti that Henry suddenly rembered of the ti that he had actually taken a loan from the system. That was the ti that he was back on that island where he had been kept for more than a decade.

And thinking about it until now, he had actually forgotten about paying the debt. And why was it that he had never been reminded by the system about the loan that he had taken?

For a mont, Henry began sweating as he thought about the loan. He had never paid back the loan that he had taken back then. In fact, he had even forgotten about it considering the amount of mutation crystals that he had taken from the system.

Thinking about it, the value of the mutation crystals that he had taken was definitely extrely low that was completely ignorable at this mont. But even then, he wondered why the system had not reminded him about it.

As if the system had seen through Henry’s thoughts, it sent a reply.

[It might be true that it was the system that had inford the host about the presence of the loan from the system, but even then, it is not as if the system is going to remind the host about repaying the loan.]

[The reason why the system inford the host about the availability of the loan from the system is because the system has to let the host know about all the functions present.]

[As for paying back the loan, that is sothing that the host is supposed to take responsibility of.]

Henry did not really care about what the system had said. Instead, he asked, ’Is there a punishnt for not paying the loan?’ That was of course what he really cared about.

If the system really decided that it was going to punish him, the punishnt was definitely not sothing simple. So, he hoped that there was none.

[Responding to the host. The host is right about the absence of the punishnt due to the host failing to pay the loan.]

Imdiately after receiving this information, Henry was relieved. At least he did not have to pay bulky interests for failing to pay the loan, right?

[But even then, the loan that has not been paid for a few months now has already accumulated a lot of penalties. The penalties are not considered as punishnt to the host, but are actually considered as part of the inco of the system.]

Henry:

The heck! According to the system, the penalties were actually not considered as punishnt? Of course they were supposed to be considered as punishnt considering that Henry was supposed to pay quite a lot considering that he had not paid the loan on ti.

’How much am I supposed to pay now? Include the penalties.’ Henry asked helplessly.

[The accumulated amount until today is three level 2 diamond rank mutation crystals.]

Henry:

’How the heck has the interest increased by such a large margin? Can I get an explanation on what amount I am supposed to pay for each and every single day that I delay the paynt?’ Henry asked, completely flabbergasted by the amount that the system was asking from him for asking only a few rank O mutation crystals.

One had to know that a single level 1 bronze rank mutation crystal was equal to 10,000 level 9 rank O mutation crystals. Additionally, the conversion between each level was 1:100, with only those between level 9 of a single rank to level 1 of the next rank being 1:10,000.

From rank O to the diamond rank, how many levels were in between? Just trying to think of the zeros that are going to be in between there if a conversion was done, it was definitely not sothing that Henry could even try to estimate.

[The host has to understand that the system functions differently. To make sure that the penalties are taken seriously, the amount of mutation crystals that the host is supposed to pay as penalties depends on the current level that the host is in.]

[Currently, the highest level of mutation crystal that the host possesses is only in the diamond rank. For that reason, the host can pay two mutation crystals that are in the diamond rank, as penalties.]

’Then what about the other one?’ Henry asked a little frustrated.

[That is the accumulation of what the host borrowed from the system.]

’Useless.’ Henry thought in his mind before he decided to pay off the loan. In any case, it was not as if the amount that had been requested from the system was sothing big that he could not pay.

But instead, the only reason why he had been arguing with the system was simply because the amount that he was supposed to pay was extrely huge as compared to the one that he had borrowed back then.

Even though he could understand that the reason why that had happened was simply because he had forgotten to pay the loan, but even then, how was the amount supposed to rise by such a huge margin within such a short ti?

After paying back the loan that he had taken back then, Henry went ahead and asked about the amount that he could borrow for now.

[The host can simply borrow from the system the skill directly instead of borrowing mutation crystals. But even then, the host can still borrow mutation crystals from the system and pay them back later. The longer the period taken to pay the loan, the better.]

Henry: "...."

Henry was left speechless by the last sentence from the system. It seed that the system was actually trying to be a profiteer here. But in any case, he simply ignored it and focus on the part that he was going to borrow either the mutation crystals, or the skill directly.

After thinking about it for a while, he finally ca to a decision. Instead of taking the mutation crystals so that he could purchase the skill directly from the system store, he decided to take the skill in form of a loan.

But even then, there was one question that was in his mind as he decided on what to take. ’Am I supposed to pay back the skill or the mutation crystals?’

[Responding to the host. The host can simply pay back the price of the skill within the ti limit that will be given after the host selects the skill.]

Imdiately after this prompt, several choices appeared in front of Henry.

[Spatial Storm

Spatial Burst

Void Compression

Space Wall

Void beast

... ]

A series of choices appeared in front of Henry, and he went through each and every one of them together with description about them. Each and every one of them was extrely strong, and they could actually cause much damage.

But of course, the ones that caught Henry’s attention this ti were definitely these few skills. Of course there were other skills that were available, but even then, thinking about how overpowered they were, Henry could already think about how much the system was going to ask him to pay for the skills the mont that he was capable of doing so.

After going through the information about it all, he finally settled on a single skill.

[Void Compression: It enables the user to be able to compress the space around the target, putting much pressure on them. The amount of pressure that is put on the target depends on the amount of energy that is utilized by the host in order to activate the skill.]

Henry had taken this skill not only because it was quite good when it ca to dealing with people from a distance without them knowing what was going on, but, it could also be utilized as a form of support during the ti that he was fighting an opponent that was quite stronger than himself.

It could be utilized as a form of immobilization for his enemy, and then, he would strike from another angle using other forms of attack.

[The host has made the decision. The host is required to pay back the loan within the following month. Failure of doing that, the loan that the host has taken will begin accumulating penalties.]

Henry of course was a little startled after realizing that he was supposed to pay only after a single month. But even then, thinking about the fact that he did not have much ti, he decided to focus on trying to level up the mage profession, instead of bickering with the system about the ti limit.
