Still, Alex looked at Henry and asked, "Should I continue utilizing the second ability, or should I use the first ability so that they don’t have the mories of the ti that they were zombies?"
Henry thought about it for a mont before he finally ca to a decision. "Just utilize the second ability. Currently, we are in a tight situation. So, it is better that those humans that are going to recover maintain the full strength that they possessed during the ti that they were zombies. This way, humans would have a chance in this apocalypse."
Of course Henry understood that the decision that he had made was extrely cruel, especially to those that possessed weak willpower. But what could he do?
Currently, in the apocalypse, sotis a person had to be cruel in order to be able to get what they wanted. And right now, the only way to increase the manpower that the humans possessed was to turn the zombies that had the highest power level into humans.
Of course Henry could not go ahead and allow them to lose their power, considering that they would have to take ti again, killing apocalyptic creatures in order to be able to level up back to the sa level that they had reached during the ti that they were zombies.
But that was sothing that was going to take a lot of ti. So, it was better for them to possess the high combat power that they possessed during the ti that they were zombies. Although many of them might end up killing themselves, still , it was better to have a few high level people, than a large crowd of low level people.
As cruel as it might sound, this was the apocalypse, and those weak people were considered as useless in a real battle where power mattered.
And of course, even if Henry decided that he was not going to allow the zombies to be turned into humans, they would be dead anyway. So, it was not as if he was doing any harm to them. Instead, he was offering them a chance.
As long as they managed to overco the burden that they would be imposed on by the mories that they possessed during the ti that they were zombies, then, they would definitely be able to live a life that was completely different from before.
Additionally, with the high power level that they possessed, they would definitely be capable of possessing high positions within any territory that they went to. So, this was just another thod that they could utilize in order to reach the top.
Alex hesitated for a mont, before he finally understood what it was that Henry had thought about. Of course it was not going to be completely the sa way as Henry was thinking, but he also thought that it was actually better for the humans right now.
After all, right now, by converting the zombies into humans, they would be reducing the number of zombies in the world. At the sa ti, they would also be increasing the population of the humans that had been continuously reducing recently.
Although it was true that the human population always grew on a daily basis as many people give birth all over the world, but what was an infant going to do? After all, a newly born baby was completely powerless, and that was sothing that was going to affect the future, and not the present.
So, all that they had to focus on was the present. As long as they managed to secure the present, then the future could exist. So, no matter how cruel they had to be, that was the only thod out, the only ans that they possess currently to increase the probability of there being a future.
"Let us try the highest limit that you can utilize that ability of yours. After that, we will see what we are going to do next." Henry made a decision.
So for the next few minutes, Alex went ahead and utilized the second ability to transform the zombies into humans. Slowly, he began by transforming a level 1 silver rank zombie, until he reached a level 9 silver rank zombie.
At this mont, Alex was already sweating heavily. The ability was actually putting so pressure on him. Although he had been converting low level zombies into humans, it still consud so of his energy. And as he continuously rose in levels, the amount of energy that was consud for the conversion to occur also increased.
At the sa ti as they were doing the conversion, Henry went ahead and tested out a few things that could happen with Alex’s ability. It turned out that as long as the red glow touched the body of a zombie, the transformation would imdiately begin.
But if Alex did not maintain contact with the zombie, until the light fully enveloped the body of the zombie, the transformation would take so ti to be able to fully occur. But nevertheless, it was not as if they did not possess that much ti for the zombies to be transford into humans.
So, to speed up things, Alex began going around, touching the zombies that had been brought over by Dylan. The process that initially took about 5 minutes to complete, took about 7 to 8 minutes to be completed without him maintaining contact for the initial stage of the process.
When it ca to converting the level 9 silver rank zombie, the amount of energy that Alex spent had actually gone extrely high. It seed that the number of zombies that he could convert at the sa level was definitely quite limited due to his energy reserves.
Alex was just about to start talking about his energy reserves not being enough when suddenly, reflexively, he caught an item that had been thrown towards him.
Looking at it, he realized that it was actually a potion. The information about the potion was displayed in front of his eyes after he focused on it. He realized that it was actually a recovery potion, and one of a high level at that.
Just as he was surprised that there was such a high level recovery potion, Henry spoke up. "It seems that there is a limit to the number of zombies that you can transform at that level of yours. So, that ans that you will have to get an improvent in your power level, and that is sothing that has to happen quickly."
Alex looked at Henry, wondering what he was trying to imply. Could he be trying to imply that he actually expected Alex, to go out there and fight against the apocalyptic creatures, so that he could level up faster? But then again, that was definitely going to take way more ti, considering that leveling up was sothing that took ti considering that he had to fight against the apocalyptic creature before he killed it.
"I have a thod that can enable you to level up quite fast. But then again, you have to understand one thing, you will be at a disadvantage if you fight against another person of the sa level as yourself. So, are you willing to level up faster? In exchange for faster increase in power level, you are going to lose much combat strength." Henry stated.
There was the leveling potion that was present within the system store. He could utilize it in order to help Alex to level up faster. That way, with high energy reserves, he would definitely be capable of transforming a large number of zombies in a short period of ti.
But then again, this was sothing that Alex had to decide on by himself. After all, if he decided to get stronger quickly, he was going to ruin his own foundation, not only possessing enough combat experience, but his combat power was also going to reduce.
Alex was completely baffled after hearing that. He had not expected that Henry was going to give him sothing like that. He understood that if there was actually sothing that was capable of improving the power level of a person, usually, the person who had gotten it would not give it out, even if they were not willing to use it. After all, they could simply give it to their own subordinates.
It was true that there were so side effects that ca with utilizing the leveling up potion. But then again, what was the use of the side effect if he was over an entire rank above his enemy?
As long as he was not fighting against a person of the sa level, that implied that he could simply crush those that were around below him. This offer was quite tempting.
But how was it possible to suddenly increase his power level? And by how many levels was his power going to increase?
As if detecting the question that Alex was having, Henry responded, "You don’t have to worry about the increase in strength that you are going to get. Instead, you have to make a decision on whether you are going to agree or not. For confirmation, you can just check your own power level."
Alex imdiately checked himself after hearing Henry’s last statent. It was only then that he suddenly realized that his power level had suddenly increased from level 2 of the bronze rank to level 9 of the silver rank. It was no wonder that he was actually capable of converting the level 9 silver rank zombie back into a human! He had not even paid attention to sothing as crucial as that!
Getting a little ecstatic, Alex looked at Henry and said, "I agree. Help level up. As for , I will make sure that all the zombies within this city and the surrounding cities will be transford into humans. That way, the human race will definitely possess a great chance against the mbers of the other races in this world."
