Henry didn't stop at all. One after the other, he slashed at the monsters that appeared in front of him, or at the sides, or even behind him. He had been careful enough, knowing that even though he was putting on an armor, he wasn't supposed to be careless.
It didn't matter what level of the monster that he t, he would always kill them with a single strike. His prowess was unmatched.
On the other hand, Olivia was doing the sa thing. Since the two of them had already reached level 6, level 4 and level 5 monsters were nothing in front of them. With just a casual attack from them, they would be able to dismber any creature that appeared in front of them.
As Olivia's sword was covered in ice, the monsters that were slashed by her would always be frozen. And for that reason, her kills were quite clean, not filled with blood.
Even though she was in the middle of a very large group of monsters, she always paid attention to Henry. That was the person that had shown greater capabilities, which were very high, enough to attract her attention.
She was surprised at how easy he was able to manage to kill the monsters. And, the thing that attracted her attention most, was the fact that, even though he was a fire mage, he was also very good at using a sword.
The spirit of competition had already ignited inside Olivia's eyes. There was no way that she was going to agree to lose to soone else. She could already tell that, from the movents that Henry was making, it was obvious that he too was already at level 6.
She was a person that never liked being controlled. Her parents had always been controlling her around, deciding on what she was supposed to do and what she was not supposed to do.
And since the apocalypse had already descended, she wasn't willing to be beneath anyone. Although she didn't know about the character that Henry possessed, since he was sohow related to Sarah, then she herself had to ensure that she was strong enough to deal with him, in case he was threatening Sarah.
For that reason, she increased the frequency at which she was attacking, increasing the rate at which the monsters that encountered her were falling.
It wasn't long before the duo encountered level 6 monsters. But all the sa, with the battle prowess that the two of them possessed, they weren't matched in the sa level.
Even though he was surrounded by several level 6 monsters, Henry didn't care at all. With the armor on his body, even though he didn't know about the limit that the armor possessed, at least, he was confident of taking care of this group.
And if things went out of hand, there was still a skill that he could utilize, power surge. By using that skill, he would be able to deal three tis the usual damage. And for that reason, if he released the fire arrows again, while at the sa ti using power surge, the amount of damage that would be dealt to this ti would definitely be more intense than before.
Olivia on the other hand, was having so trouble. Although it was true that a level 6 monster was not able to deal any damage to her, since she was surrounded by a group of them, she had already begun getting injured.
This was completely different. Previously, she didn't attack carelessly as she had done this ti. Even herself didn't know as to why she had impulsively decided to charge towards the back of the monsters.
In the end, she could only bla Henry as the reason why she did this. All the sa, she didn't hesitate at all. Even though she was feeling that she was going to be overwheld in the next second, she knew that to reduce the pressure she was facing, she had to kill.
[Ice storm.]
When she noticed that the pressure that she was facing was not reducing at all, she imdiately decided to utilize the skill that she had gotten during the last monster wave.
The mont that the skill was activated, a huge amount of energy in her body was imdiately consud. After that, a storm suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and enveloped the group of monsters that was around her.
In the next mont, all the monsters below level 6 were imdiately frozen into ice popsicles. As for the level 6 monsters, all their movents were reduced.
Taking this chance, she imdiately attacked ferociously. Since the monsters were not capable of moving around as fast as they previously could, she easily managed to slaughter all those that were within 100 m around her.
The mont that she managed to kill the final monster, she finally managed to level up to level seven. And with that, the amount of energy that was present inside her body increased drastically.
Feeling the improvent, she cast her gaze towards Henry. But in the next mont, she couldn't help but get surprised. Henry was actually handling the situation more easily than she did.
In fact, currently, around him, the number of monsters could be counted. And each and every one of them was at least level 6. As for those that were below level 6, none of them dared to approach him. Instead, they had decided to attack the group which tailed behind.
But of course, the group of level 5 monsters were being taken care of by Adam, Sarah, and the wolf that was protecting her. Since her level was currently lower than even the weakest monster here, the wolf had to protect her until she reach a good level to deal with them.
On the other hand, Henry had already noticed sothing amiss. That was the fact that, suddenly, the group of monsters that was attacking without any plan had suddenly began acting as if they were being commanded.
Previously, although they had congregated together and were attacking at the sa ti, they didn't have any plans or so on. But this ti, Henry realized that any monster that was below level 6 was not attacking him.
This was completely illogical because, it wasn't long ago that even level four monsters were attacking him the mont that he ca into contact with them.
With a frown on his face, he began looking around, while killing all the monsters that dared to approach him.
It was also during this mont that he finally realized sothing. Behind the group that was charging towards the facility, at the outskirts of the forest that was just outside the facility, there was a group of monsters that were not attacking.
This group of monsters was actually standing in a circle, as if they were protecting sothing. This imdiately attracted his attention, and he imdiately began killing while moving in that direction.
Just after he had taken a few steps forward, he imdiately felt that the energy in his body had suddenly increased. At the sa ti, a system prompt appeared in front of him.
[Congratulations on reaching level 6 of the summoner profession.]
This was already the second ti that he had managed to level up during this monster wave. He gazed towards the direction where the Storm wolf was, and he imdiately knew that he was the one that was limiting the wolf.
Otherwise, how was it possible for an SSS grade profession to be considered weak? Since the wolf was summoned by SSS summoner profession, it was obvious that the combat capabilities that it possessed weren't low.
Deciding not to think about the matter for a mont, he imdiately continued moving towards the very back of the group.
Roar! Roar!
When the group of monsters saw that Henry was actually approaching them, they began roaring as if they wanted to chase him away. But, none of them dared to move away from where they were standing.
They gave Henry threatening gazes, as if they were informing him that, if he dared to approach near, then they would not hesitate to attack him.
The more strange this group of monsters acted, the more curious Henry got. And for that reason, he didn't stop his movents at all, but instead, increased the speed at which he was charging forward.
When the monsters saw this, they imdiately began getting anxious. At the sa ti, a lion that couldn't hold it back anymore roared, before it jumped towards Henry, trying to bite his neck.
Henry just snorted, before swinging his sword. At the sa ti, he did a simple movent to the side.
Splash! Thud!
The lion flew past him, and landed on the ground heavily. At the sa ti, blood imdiately began sipping out of its neck. And in the next mont, the head and the body were separated from each other.
The group that was standing behind consisted of more than 20 level 6 monsters. But even so, they were not enough to intimidate Henry.
Henry observed the group, and found out that the way that these monsters were standing, they were doing their best to block what was in the middle of the circle.
But still, Henry was able to get a glimpse of a paw that possessed sharp claws. Henry could imdiately tell the difference between those claws, and the ones that these monsters possessed.
Bang!
Just as Henry was about to charge forward, and observe for himself what was being hidden in the middle, a monster's head landed heavily on the ground beside him.
And in the next mont, another figure appeared on his left. Henry rose his brows a little when he noticed that the person that had appeared was Olivia.
Before the two of them could even interact, the group of monsters that had been trying to conceal what was hidden in the middle, suddenly began making way. And in the next mont, what was hidden was finally revealed.
