The Soul System in the Apocalypse Chapter 318: Waking Up, Changes

...And after the first gulp, it was as if Sarah had suddenly woken up as she greedily gulped all the liquid from the glass.

The mont that the entire liquid was taken by Sarah, a white light suddenly enveloped her body. The light was filled with purity, while at the sa ti, a milky glow began appearing on Sarah’s face.

Other than that, Henry could feel that there was a sudden change in the atmosphere. Initially, it was normal, with hints of killing intent in the air. But with the appearance of the white light, all the killing intent that was in the air was completely eliminated.

At this point, the entire room was filled with peace, making it extrely comfortable to stay in. At the sa ti, Henry continued to observe Sarah, seeing the changes that were occurring on her body.

10 seconds after Sarah had taken the solution, the black dots that had began forming on her skin began disappearing one after the other. And after about 30 seconds, all the black dots disappeared.

In the next mont, Sarah began twitching. At the sa ti, there was a painful expression on her face, as if Sarah was experiencing a lot of pain at this point.

Henry could not help but get worried about Sarah. He was not sure about what was going on, because this was the first ti that this cleansing pill was being purchased from the system.

But Henry was not worried for long. It was just after about a few seconds that finally, a calm and relaxed expression returned on Sarah’s face. Then in the next mont, out of nowhere, black substance began gathering towards Sarah’s hand.

The way that the black substance was moving below the skin was as if it was alive. At the sa ti, it looked like it was running away from sothing.

Sohow, without even injuring Sarah’s skin, the black substance ca out of Sarah. It floated in the air in the form of a black fog. It tried materializing, but it could not do so no matter how many tis it tried.

Henry was not sure on how to deal with this situation. Still, he ignited a small fireball in his hand. He had already been inford about the fact that if this black smoke was attacked, it was not going to be affected by normal attacks, other than those that were related to the light.

Still, Henry understood that the fire that he possessed was definitely not normal. So, he wanted to give it a try, to see if his attack was going to be capable of dealing with this black fog.

But even before Henry could do that, Sarah suddenly got up from the bed. Then without hesitation, she launched an attack towards the black fog, after realizing that it could not materialize, it was about to charge out of the room.

Ssshh!

As if an acid co into contact with flesh, the sound of sothing burning could be heard.

Aaaaargh!

At the sa ti, an extrely painful scream ca from the black fog. And after a while, the entire black fog was lted, completely disappearing from the world.

Henry was forced to put out the fireball that he had just summoned. At the sa ti, he looked at Sarah, who looked slightly different from how she was before.

At this point, Sarah was wearing a buggy t-shirt, and a pair of pants. All of this was done so that she could be comfortable during the ti that she was unconscious.

But of course, there was another change that had occurred. Currently, Sarah’s hair had turned white. It was not the white that ca from old age, but it was as if Sarah had suddenly dyed her hair white.

Henry was not sure when it happened, but it seed that the change in the color of the hair had happened during the ti that he was looking at the black fog, having the intention of attacking it.

Sarah took a deep breath after dealing with the black fog. Then, she looked around the room, and realized that there were two people with her.

She mainly focused on Henry. And realizing that he was here, she imdiately knew that he was the one who had enabled her to wake up.

Although she had been unconscious all this while, that did not an that she was actually completely out. Instead, inside, it felt like she was continuously battling that black fog.

For so reason, although she possessed the greatest advantage during the ti that she was fighting against the black fog that was present in her body, she was not capable of eliminating it completely.

And as ti went on, she continuously lost the advantage that she possessed. And that was the reason why there were several black spots that had appeared on her skin. This was a transformation that had happened only recently.

During the ti that she was being fed with the solution, the body acted out of instinct. She felt like she was going to be dominated by the black fog. So, the mont that the solution was poured into her mouth, the body realized that this was sothing that was going to be able to save it.

So, she devoured the entire solution. The mont that the solution entered into her body, it began repairing all the parts that had been damaged by the black fog. At the sa ti, it increased the strength that Sarah possessed. That was the reason why she was capable of forcing the black fog out of her body.

Initially, she had intended on destroying the black fog in her body. But then, she realized that it was going to cause her trouble if she destroyed it within her. Additionally, she was not sure whether by destroying that black fog in her body, it was going to cause her trouble or not.

So, she forced the black fog out of her body. And the mont that the black fog ca out of her, she realized that she had regained control over her body.

Additionally, her body was not weak although she had been unconscious for over a month. Instead, she felt that her body had suddenly beco stronger than before.

Nevertheless, she did not focus on the changes that had occurred on her body. Instead, she imdiately attacked the black fog, destroying it.

"Thank you for your assistance." With a graceful bow, Sarah stated sincerely as she looked at Henry. She understood that if not for Henry, she would have definitely been in great trouble.

"No need to worry about it. Are you okay?" Henry waved his hand dismissively, before asking about Sarah’s condition.

Sarah was already used to how Henry behaved. So, she was not surprised when he did not say much about the fact that he had saved her. Instead, he cared about her condition.

Sarah observed her body for a while, before she responded. "I feel like I have already recovered completely. Additionally, it seems that there has been a lot of improvent on my body."

Imdiately after she said that, she suddenly realized sothing. She was not the only one considering that even Henry realized what it was.

"I... I’ve actually managed to reach the gold rank? Additionally, it is not the first level, but instead, it is the third level of the gold rank!" Sarah exclaid after looking at the information about herself.

This was completely unexpected for her. Not only her, even Henry was not expecting sothing like this was going to happen. Before she went into a coma, Sarah was at level 9 of the silver rank.

But after taking the cleansing pill, and waking up, she had actually reached level 3 of the gold rank. Henry was not sure about how it was possible, but still, he had a premonition that it was sohow related to the cleansing pill that Sarah had taken.

Henry did not say anything, but just observed Sarah. At this mont, Sarah was ecstatic. Although she was not sure how long it had been during the ti that she was unconscious, but having improved, that was definitely sothing good.

She understood that in the apocalypse, if she was unconscious for an entire month, that ant that she was going to miss a lot. Additionally, she was going to remain behind when it ca to the power levels.

So, with the improvent, she definitely felt a little relaxed. But, it was just for a mont before she asked as she looked at Henry, "How long has it been since I had been unconscious?"

Sarah had already realized the crux of the matter. It was not about how strong she currently was. It was on how more advanced the apocalypse was. Even if she was in the gold rank and the majority of the people had already reached the diamond or even the platinum level, she would be behind them by a big margin.

"It has been over a month and a half ever since the ti you went into a coma. But don’t worry, not much changes have happened. And, it was only today that the third stage of the apocalypse finally finished its descent. You are in ti for the third stage of the apocalypse." Knowing what Sarah was thinking about, Henry responded.

Sarah was relieved after hearing that. But, she could not help but be surprised that she had actually been unconscious for over a month and a half. Additionally, the third stage of the apocalypse had already descended?

She had gone into a coma during the ti that the second stage of the apocalypse had just descended. Did it an that she had just missed an entire stage?

After a while, Sarah suddenly looked towards the lady who had been standing on the side, silently. Without even asking, realizing that she was the only lady in the room, apart from herself, Sarah gave the lady a bow and said, "Thank you for taking care of ."
