Nelson was a little surprised because he had not been expecting that there was going to be a person that was going to approach them from behind. He had simply been focused on Julie, that he even forgot about Adam and the rest of the people that belonged to the territory that he had planned to attack.

He had not expected that Adam was going to kill all the mutants zombies so quickly. As for the zombie that he was using for security, it was busy trying to deal with Julie.

If this was a normal situation, he would have definitely been capable of detecting Adam approaching. But right now, he was late, because Adam was just behind him. As he turned around, trying to create a distance between them, Adam suddenly grabbed him by the neck.

Nelson tried resisting several tis, but he could not compete with Adam when it ca to physical strength. One had to know that Adam was a berserker, one that focused on physical strength. Additionally, he had managed to get sothing that enabled him to have his physical strength being improved to the sa level as his current power level.

So, in Adam’s grasp, Nelson was like a helpless chicken grabbed by the neck, trying to break free from the hand of an adult.

When Nelson realized that it was impossible for him to break free from Adam’s grasp, he decided to use his ability. Although he was not physically strong, that did not an that he was weak either. Initially, he was at level one of the gold rank. But right now, he had managed to reach level 3 of the gold rank. Of course this was all due to the fact that he had dealt with nine zombies that were at level 2 of the gold rank, together with Nelson who was at level 3 of the gold rank.

Had it been before the descent of the third stage of the apocalypse, he would have only been capable of reaching the second level of the gold rank. But due to the advantage that was given to the humans, he was capable of reaching the third level of the gold rank.

After he was done with that, Adam looked towards Julie. He couldn’t help but ask worriedly, "Are you alright?"

Currently, there was blood that was leaking out of Julie’s mouth. It was clear that during the ti that she was trying to prevent the zombie from attacking Adam, she was injured. This was to be expected considering that Julie was initially injured by Nelson, and she was not that good at close combat.

"I’m okay. I have already taken the healing potion. It should not take long to be able to heal back to my peak condition." Julie responded in an almost emotionless voice.

Imdiately after she said that, she began retreating, getting back into the shadows.

When Adam saw that, he remained silent, not saying anything. This was sothing that he had already gotten used to during the past 2 months that they had spent together.

Additionally, Julie was an assassin. So, it was not strange if she was going to hide again. The profession that she had chosen required her to look for opportune monts in order to be able to attack.

After Julie disappeared behind a building, Adam turned around, and looked towards the battlefield. During the ti that he had been fighting against the mutant zombies, the group of people behind him had already managed to clear out more than half of the zombies that had attacked.

But still, the number of casualties was still increasing. This was sothing that Adam had already been expecting. So, he was not surprised when he saw several burnt bodies on the ground.

Without hesitation, he charged into the group of zombies, before he began dealing with them. With his assistance, it was not that difficult for the group of humans from the territory to be able to deal with the zombies.

Additionally, with the leader of the zombies already dealt with, the zombies that were attacking in a formation before, had suddenly turned into mindless creatures that attacked without a plan.

This had imdiately relieved the group of people that were defending a lot of pressure. Added to the advantage that the zombies had possessed before, the nurical advantage, with a strategy, it was definitely putting a lot of pressure on the humans.

But right now, the morale was extrely high. After all, the leader of the zombies had already been taken care of. Additionally, even those elite zombies that were at the gold rank had already been taken care of, sothing that gave the others the motivation that they had to level up as well.

With the advantage that they had gained, being capable of leveling up easier than before, the majority of the people had already begun leveling up, enabling them to be able to gain advantage over zombies.

Henry on the other hand had been observing everything from the top of the wall. He did not make any move this ti. It was not simply due to the fact that he believed that Adam was capable of dealing with Nelson and the group of zombies, but it was also due to the fact that Adam needed this.

For himself, with the system space, he was capable of improving his combat experience. But it was completely different for Adam and the rest of the group.
