The Soul System in the Apocalypse Chapter 29: Steven

"Hold it there!" But just before Adam could land a punch on Michael's disgusting face, an arrogant shout reached his ears.

Of course, with Adam's character, he completely ignored the other party's shouting. Instead, he landed a heavy blow on Michael's face.

"Argh!" Michael scread in pain as he wanted to retreat, but with his hand in Adam's grasp, there was nowhere that he was going. Adam pulled him in, before he landed yet another punch on his face.

Michael tried to block the attack, but he found out that his speed was just slow to be able to deal with the punch. With another punch landing on his face, he scread once again in agony.

Adam was not gentle at all. Since this was the main culprit of the problems that the two of them had been undergoing while in the facility, then, he was willing to vent out his anger on him.

"I told you to stop and you dare to completely ignore ? Adam, you have grown so guts now, I see." The previous arrogant voice echoed in the air once again.

When he heard this, Adam punched Michael once again, before he turned around and looked at the owner of the voice.

"So what if I don't listen to you? It is not as if you are my boss, are you?" Adam replied nonchalantly before kicking away Michael who was already on the ground, trying to block his nose that was already bleeding.

In front of Adam had appeared yet another group. This group consisted of almost 20 people. Currently, this could be considered the biggest faction present in the facility.

Even though it was true that there were so of its mbers that had yet to reach Rank O and choose their professions, there was no doubt that there were a few of them that had already managed to reach the second level.

The man who had appeared in front of Adam had green hair that was uncomped, and matching green eyes. Amongst the whole group, he could be said to be the most handso person present.

Just like Adam and Henry, before he was brought here, he was from a very rich background. And when he was brought over here,he was lucky enough to be brought with five of his lackeys.

And for that reason, he was the only person that had the highest influence amongst all those that were present. Even though he had only co 3 years ago, with the support that he had, he had managed to conquer almost half of the youths present in the facility.

His na was Steven. He was usually arrogant, even though he had been suffering during the ti that he had been here in the facility.

And now, he was amongst the few that had managed to find a gun. And with the help of the gun, he had managed to strengthen himself. After that, he went ahead and killed 10 apocalyptic creatures, before finally choosing a profession.

The profession that he had chosen was that of a mage. Even though it was true that he might be physically weak, but when it ca to the attacking power that he possessed, as a mage, his attack power wasn't to be underestimated.

His expression was currently ugly after hearing the reply that ca from Adam. He had never expected that Adam was going to talk to him in such a manner, not to ntion that he had completely ignored his instructions previously.

With the fact that he had already considered himself as the leader of the entire facility, with the absence of the managent of the facility, there was no way that he was going to take this lying down.

"Humph! You are talking to in such a manner? It seems that you don't want to live anymore." Steven snorted as he said these words.

Initially, the main reason as to why he had tried to prevent the fight from happening was due to the fact that, since he wanted his faction to be the biggest and the most powerful, he had intended to recruit both Adam and Michael into his faction.

As for the matter between the two of them, of course they would have to set aside their differences as long as they wanted to join his team.

But now, he had completely changed his mind. He had decided to completely abandon the idea of taking Adam into his team. There was no way that he will going take a person that was going to be disobedient to him.

But still, he was quite impressed by the strength that Adam possessed. After all, he was able to handle seven people by himself, and their leader who was already at level two. That implied that his strength was quite formidable.

"Beat him up." Steven said as he waved his hand towards the people that were following behind him.

At the sa ti, the group charged towards Adam, Steven turned his gaze towards the Jeep that was standing closer to the entrance.

His eyes shone with excitent when he saw it. Previously, before he was brought to the facility, he was a car racing lover. For that reason, he was a person that loved sports car so much.

Even though the Jeep that was in front of him looked like an off-road vehicle, still, the way the body of the vehicle looked like, it resembles the sports car.

With his current ntality, he believed that everything that was good belonged to him. So, he began taking big strides towards the car. As for Adam, he completely ignored him.

Amongst the group that had charged over towards Adam, there were three of them that had already reached level 2. With multiple level twos attacking at the sa ti, he didn't believe that Adam would be able to survive it.

From ti to ti, he could hear so grunting and screams coming from the battlefield. Even though he was quite surprised that Adam was able to deal with so of those that he had sent over, he understood that there had to be so that were going to be beaten down.

At the end of the day, even though it was true that he was the leader of a group that consisted of a lot of people, it was also true that there were so of them that were yet to beco mutant warriors.

After he arrived in front of the Jeep, he began walking around it, admiring it's make. He couldn't help but wonder where the owner of the car had bought It from. If he had a chance, he would be able to pay a visit to that place so that he could acquire a few more cars that were made in this design.

Just as he continued looking around the car, he finally approached the driver's door. He stretched his hand, wanting to open the door and look inside.

If the car was locked, then he was going to look for other ans that would enable him to open the car without destroying it.

Click! Bang!

But before his hand could even touch the door's handle with a click, the door of the car was opened with an imnse speed and force. Since Steven was not prepared, he was hit in the face by the car's door.

As he stumbled backwards, Steven felt that there were so tears that had already began forming in his eyes, due to the imnse pain that he was feeling.

With hatred clear in his eyes, he looked towards the door of the car, where Henry suddenly got out.

"You know, you should have so respect for other people's property." Henry stated nonchalantly before turning his attention towards the battlefield.

Sarah also ca down from the car at that mont. And Steven, who was just about to start attacking Henry was surprised. He had never expected that inside the car, there was Henry. And additionally, he even had another person inside.

"This is just good. I will simply kill off the two of you, take your car and your woman. I never thought that you are going to bless like that." Even though his nose had already begun bleeding, he still managed to smile as he looked at Sarah who had appeared.

Wearing the red armor, Sarah was indeed looking beautiful. As a young master, Steven was already lecherous. He was the one who took the lead in making the life of all the females present in the facility a living hell.

And, since he was the one in charge of the biggest faction present in the facility, he took advantage of that, to try and possess everything. In other words, every lady that appeared in front of him had to be of service to him.

But still, there were very few of them present in the facility after the attack had been launched. Many of them had died during the ti that the wolves and other apocalyptic creatures appeared in the facility.

"Why don't you move away from the car, so that I can attack you. I don't want to destroy my beautiful car." Steven stated as he began gathering the energy present in his body towards his right arm.

He was a fire mage. For that reason, yellow flas suddenly appeared on his hand. The temperatures around him began rising.

When Henry saw that scene, he couldn't help but shake his head. "You know, you should never play with fire in front of . You can learn now, and make sure to keep it in mind when you reach the underworld."

As he finished saying those words, Henry managed to mobilize the energy within his body and produced a fla in his hand.

"You are also a mage?" At this mont, Steven couldn't help but ask incredulously.
