Even in the face of the attack, Wilfred did not panic. Instead, he just looked at the attack as it approached him at an incredible speed. To say the truth, it was not as if Wilfred could actually avoid the attack even if he wanted to.

Although Livingstone did not understand where the confidence ca from within Wilfred, he really did not care. Instead, he decided to take this chance and get rid of Wilfred as soon as possible.
Of course, he understood that there were tis that so unstable factors occurred, and they might actually lead to Wilfred being able to survive again. And, he was not going to do the sa mistake as the one that he did before, leaving behind Wilfred to die. This ti, he had to make sure that Wilfred died for real.
Just as Livingstone was expecting that Wilfred was going to be cut into two by the sword, a sudden change occurred. The sword that was about to cut Wilfred was actually stopped.
Bang!
The mont that the sword collided with sothing that Livingstone had never seen before, a shockwave was created. This made a dust of cloud to be raised into the sky.
Even Livingstone had no choice but to retreat for a few steps. During this ti, he had actually attacked using his full strength, even though he knew that Wilfred did not actually possess any combat power.
And since he was a mage, he did not have a strong body, and the one that he currently possessed was just the sa as the one that he possessed initially during the ti that the apocalypse had yet to descend, although it had been strengthened a little.
But what surprised him the most was the fact that, Wilfred did not move. But at the sa ti, he was actually not affected in any way.

Just as he was wondering where the source of this spiky thing was, the zombies and the humans finally collided. And at this mont, several miserable screams began erupting, because the majority of the people that were fighting right now did not actually possess much combat experience.
And, there were actually so of them that had already been intimidated by the appearance of the zombies, together with their large number. So, they tried to retreat, but, the mont that they turned their backs to the zombies, the zombies took that advantage and attacked them.
At the sa ti, Livingstone followed the spiky thing that had blocked his attack, and was actually still beside Wilfred, as if it was waiting to protect him in case Livingstone attacked once again.
This spiky thing that Livingstone was seeing was in the form of a tongue. It looked exactly like a tongue, but, it was full of spikes that were gleaming with sharpness and tallic luster.
This gave Livingstone a feeling that this was definitely not a human tongue. It might be true that zombies were not humans, but still, they still possessed human bodies that had been killed off, with only the brain as the only remaining functioning internal organ.
As he followed the source of this strange spiked tongue, he actually realized that it was quite long, about 10 m. And, after finally following the tongue, he realized that there was a zombie with a big mouth that was on all fours with its mouth wide open as the tongue stretched out.
The body of this zombie was quite big, clearly stating that before it beca a zombie, it was actually soone with a huge body.
In the mouth, Livingstone could clearly see that there were several sharp teeth that were organized as if they were a saw. And, from the gaps of the teeth, Livingstone could see that there were actually so pieces of flesh, with so of them already rotting.
It was clear that before this zombie ca over, then, it had actually eaten several humans and monsters. And since that was the case, it was clear that this zombie was quite strong.
"You never expected that I would only co over without protection, right? Let introduce you to my personal bodyguard, spiky." Wilfred spoke at this mont.
And after he spoke, the zombie finally approached calmly. And as it moved, the ground shook due to the weight that it possessed. And, this made Livingstone feel his heart tremble a little.
[Mutated Barbed Tongue Zombie

At this mont, after looking at the information of the zombie in front of him, Livingstone suddenly began sweating. At this point, he realized that not only did they possess a disadvantage when it ca to the numbers, but, even the power level of the zombies was actually above that of the humans of his camp.
His son was only at level 7 of the Bronze rank, while he himself was at the sixth level of the Bronze rank. But, the problem was that, the two of them did not actually depend on killing the monsters in order to reach the level that they were in, but, they had just gotten a power boost due to luck.
For that reason, unless they experience several combat situations where life and death was involved, then, they would definitely not be capable of being at the sa level as those that had actually gained their own power by fighting all the way until they reach the level that they were in.
At this ti, Livingstone’s son ca over. Even he himself was actually surprised after reading through the information of the zombie in front of him. Initially, he had been thinking that they were currently the strongest people considering that they had only gotten the level that they were in because of a chance.
But now, it seed that they had underestimated their enemy. As for how the zombies were capable of reaching the level that they are currently in, they did not know.
Still, the two of them understood one thing, and that was, they had to be prepared for a bitter fight. This ti, they would definitely have to look for a way of getting out of here if they really did not have a chance of fighting against the zombies.
"Okay. Now, why don’t you just bring yourself over so that I can kill you slowly. At least, maybe I will leave your body intact. But, if you force this big guy here to take action, then, believe it or not, you are definitely going to have it more difficult." Wilfred stated as he looked at Livingstone and his son with a mocking gaze.
Livingstone did not respond. But of course, there was no way that he was going to submit himself to be killed. That would be a foolish decision.
Of course, although he really did not care about the people of the camp, and only cared about himself, he felt that he was losing a lot after realizing that the number of humans on his side were actually being reduced at a fast speed.
The majority of the population inside the camp was that that did not possess the combat professions. And, they were the ones that were making up the numbers here.
But, what irritated Livingstone was the fact that, not only did this group just make up their numbers without giving them any advantage, but, they were even making up the numbers when it ca to the death count!
After Wilfred realized that Livingstone was not responding, he could not help but get dissatisfied. Since that was the case, he did not hesitate at all. He looked at the zombie that was beside him and said, "Take care of him. But, make sure that he doesn’t die, just subdue him so that I can kill him myself."
The zombie did not say anything, but instead, it went ahead and took action. It was as if this zombie obeyed every command that it was going to be given by Wilfred. It seed that Wilfred actually possessed a lot of authority in the zombie race currently.
The zombie shot out Its tongue towards Livingstone and his son. The two of them were standing together, so, it was quite convenient for the zombie.
Livingstone’s son took a step forward. Unlike his father who was a mage, he himself was a warrior. It was just that, he did not use any weapon, but depended solely on his body to attack.
As he looked at the tongue that was approaching, his muscles tensed up. At the sa ti, several veins erupted from his neck, clearly indicating that he was going to use his full strength this ti.
That spiky tongue that was shooting towards the two of them suddenly did sothing that surprised both Livingstone and his son. From being about 15 cm wide, the tongue suddenly expanded and it beca 0.5 m wide. Even the spikes expanded a little.
At this point, Livingstone and his son imdiately realized that they did not have a chance against that tongue. Not to ntion the speed, but, just the force that it was approaching with clearly told them that if they did not have anything to use to protect themselves, then, they would be killed here.
Still, Livingstone’s son was not willing to have his father killed here. So, he decided to sacrifice himself in order to give his father a chance of getting out of here. But, just as he was preparing to hold himself against the tongue, the tongue suddenly paused its movents in the air.
