Holly sat quietly at the dining table eating breakfast. When she saw Leo coming down, she grinned, "Brother, are you sleepy?"

Looking at Leo’s sleepy appearance, Holly tilted her head and looked at him.

"Hmm, yes, I’m going to catch up on sleep later. Holly, be good and stay here, don’t go out to play alone, okay?"

Leo gently rubbed Holly’s head, speaking softly.

Holly was staying in his villa. He wondered if those people had found out, fearing they might make a move against Holly.

"Okay, okay."

Holly nodded obediently.

After finishing breakfast, Leo went upstairs, and the room was tidily organized by Mrs. Hayes.

"Young Master, you must be cautious about everything. Keeping Miss Sawyer here might not be very appropriate..."

Mrs. Hayes stood at the door of Leo’s room. Seeing Leo co up, she couldn’t help but speak.

All these years, she hadn’t seen Leo care for any girl. This girl nad Holly Sawyer seed to hold so weight in Leo’s heart.

If Leo’s identity weren’t special, she would welco Holly staying here. But Leo’s identity was indeed special; Holly might end up being his weakness.

Holly appeared as a soft, cute, naive girl, pure like a blank sheet of paper.

"Mrs. Hayes, take good care of Holly."

Leo rubbed his temples and said, then walked into the room.

Noah Raines’s call quickly ca through, "Brother, this ti it’s people from Arkenfall."

The Grant family’s main house was in Arkenfall, and Leo was the sole recognized heir. It was normal for soone to want to make a move against him.

He had lived in Bexley for years, simply because he wasn’t interested in the heir’s role.

"Alright, I understand."

Leo’s gaze out the window was icy.

"Brother, did absolutely nothing happen to you last night?"

Noah continued asking.

"Nothing happened."

Leo finished speaking and hung up the phone, his eyes filled with coldness.

He had co to Bexley five years ago and had been developing there, dealing with nurous assassination attempts, but they were relatively minor, re child’s play to Leo.

Arkenfall, it seed this ti they were serious and wanted him dead.

The young master of the Grant family usually takes his position at twenty-three, and he was six months away from turning twenty-three.

Having hardly slept the previous night, Leo truly felt exhausted and imdiately fell asleep.

Holly tiptoed into Leo’s room, surveyed the layout, and walked to his bedside.

"Brother, brother..."

She called sweetly several tis, her voice soft and warm.

Leo was motionless; he must have fallen asleep.

Holly took out an incense stick from her pocket, lit it by Leo’s bedside. It was colorless and odorless, with no trace of scent. She reached out to pinch Leo’s cheek.

No reaction at all; he was asleep. The incense helped him sleep deeply without harmful ingredients.

"Brother, sleep well. Holly will protect you."

Holly tilted her head, looking adorably at Leo, then gently tucked him in.

Outside the window, it was raining lightly and hazily. Holly opened the curtains, a faint smile on her lips.

"Hey, are you Spider-Man? Why are you climbing up?"

After a while, Holly opened the window, tilted her head to look at the man in black who had almost climbed up to the window. She blinked, appearing innocent and curious.

Her eyes were full of curiosity, looking at the man in black with apparent interest.

The man in black paused, incredulously staring at the furry head suddenly appearing out the window.

"Oh, Spider-Man can’t talk, right? Uncle, are you filming a movie?"

The little girl blinked her big eyes, asking curiously.

Man in black: "..."

Filming a movie?

Uncle?

Where did this "innocent and lovely" little girl co from?

Isn’t this Leo’s room?

"Uncle, want so candy?"

At so point, the little girl had a lollipop in her hand. She peeled it open and stuffed it into the man’s mouth.

The man was caught off guard.

"It’s very sweet, you know? Sotis overly sweet things can be deadly."

Holly blinked as she spoke, her eyes subtly innocent.

Almost as soon as Holly finished speaking, the man in black suddenly convulsed, his grip on the rope unsteady, fell.

Hmm, no strength.

As Holly watched him fall, she also jumped down from the window, landing steadily.

The height of the second floor wasn’t high; the man in black only felt his throat burning like fire, extrely uncomfortable.

"I said, overly sweet things can be deadly."

Holly casually walked to the man’s side, calmly removed the lollipop and accurately tossed it into the trash.

"You... you..."

The man was weak all over, looking at Holly in horror.

This seemingly harmless little girl wasn’t harmless at all; her innocent appearance had deceived him, catching him off guard.

"I protect Leo. Those who wish him harm deserve to die."

Holly’s voice was cold, cold enough to be horrifying, presenting a stark contrast to her previous harmless deanor.

Lollipop...

The man in black suddenly linked her to soone, "You’re, you’re..."

He pointed at Holly.

"That’s right, but those who recognize never escape the death rule."

Holly picked up a large stone from beside her and smashed it against the man’s back head. He lost consciousness.

She placed his head on the stone, staging an accidental fall to death. She deleted the surveillance footage, faked missing footage, and then dusted herself off before leaving.

"Hey, Miss Sawyer, why did you go outside? The young master asked you to stay ho. What if you get lost?"

Mrs. Hayes suddenly realized Holly was gone, panicking. She opened the door only to find Holly squatting at the doorstep, watching ants move.

"Holly is smart; she won’t get lost."

Holly lifted her gaze, smiling sweetly at Mrs. Hayes.

Mrs. Hayes looked at the little girl squatting at the door watching ants, feeling both angry and amused.

The little girl was still sowhat naive; perhaps before her amnesia, she was a family princess cherished and protected.

Mrs. Hayes was extrely afraid Holly might get into trouble.

"Holly, next ti you go out, let Auntie know. Otherwise, Auntie won’t be able to find you, and you wouldn’t want to worry your brother, right?"

Mrs. Hayes squatted down, gently patted Holly’s head, speaking softly.

"Okay, Holly will rember."

Holly nodded, indicating she understood.

Mrs. Hayes nodded in satisfaction, then accompanied Holly watching ants move.

The little girl truly looked more adorable the more one observed. If she could form a beautiful bond with the young master, it wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Mrs. Hayes pondered in her heart.
