At two in the morning, the sound of a car honking ca from outside, and Holly Sawyer knew Leo Grant had returned.

She lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, with the room lights on.

After a few minutes or so, her door suddenly opened, and Leo Grant walked in.

Holly closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep. After a while, the footsteps by the bed grew closer, and Holly held her breath.

The footsteps stopped by the bed, and after a few minutes, a pair of hands gently arranged Holly’s hair.

"Young lady, this is the second ti I’ve saved you, or maybe you let save you a second ti to repay a debt."

Leo Grant spoke in a gentle, soft voice, slowly beginning to speak.

"The young lady’s identity is not simple, letting avoid so much danger."

Leo Grant paused and then chuckled lightly.

It seed he had long known Holly’s arrival wasn’t by chance, but he never ntioned it, always acting as if he knew nothing.

After speaking, Leo helped Holly tuck in the blanket, adjusted the air conditioning to be slightly warr, then left the room, turning off the lights, closing the door softly.

As soon as Leo walked out of the room, Holly opened her eyes, staring at the pitch-black ceiling.

She thought to herself, if Leo’s abilities were just like this, he probably would have died many tis already.

Leo’s vigilance wasn’t strong at all; he probably would have died many tis by now.

Holly opened the window and nimbly jumped out, making little noise, her movents practiced, as if she’d done it countless tis.

Her figure quickly disappeared into the night, and Holly put on a mask and sunglasses, then hailed a cab heading straight to the bar.

The music in the bar was loud, chaotic, with a mix of different people, and the dance floor was crowded with n and won dancing, so scenes even made people blush.

Holly easily made her way into a private room, filled with the sll of tobacco, with a man sitting in the center, each arm around a woman, lounging comfortably.

"Quite enjoying yourself, aren’t you? This lifestyle isn’t bad."

Holly walked into the room, picked up a disposable cup, poured herself a beer, and downed it in one go, a slight smile on her lips.

"You two go out first."

When Julian Turner saw Holly, his face instantly changed, and he imdiately motioned for the two won beside him to leave.

Reluctantly, the two won stood up and on their way out, scoffed at Holly.

Holly shrugged.

"Whoa, boss, what brings you here?"

After the won left, Julian quickly stood up, excitedly welcoming Holly, a smile all over his face.

"Oh, just ca to check on you."

Holly sat down with ease, crossing her legs, speaking slowly with a persistent smile on her face.

"It’s an honor to have you here, boss. Is there anything you’d like to do?"

Julian cheerily approached Holly, pouring her a cocktail and handing it to her.

Holly might look gentle and weak, but everyone at The Pantheon knew she wasn’t.

"I want to find out about Leo Grant, things not available on the intelligence network."

Holly took the cocktail, sipped it, then placed it on the table, slowly beginning to speak.

Julian was indeed part of The Pantheon, but he lived in Bexley, running a thriving bar business.

Having lived in Bexley, Julian was definitely well-versed with the place, and bars, being a mix of diverse people, were pri spots for quick intelligence.

"Are you talking about the Leo you’re protecting?"

Julian asked slowly, seated across from Holly.

Holly’s appearance in Bexley was already shocking enough, and then hearing she was there to protect Leo made everyone including Julian stare in disbelief.

But no one dared to comnt much on Holly.

Holly: "Yes, that’s the one."

"He’s the only heir of the Grant Family, but ca to Bexley for developnt because he didn’t want that identity. You know, my bar has all kinds of people, so there’s a lot of gossip."

"Though his potential for growth in Bexley is huge, at tis his capabilities seem lacking, yet never to the point of risking his life."

"I’ve always found him a bit odd, but couldn’t pin it down. Right, in July he often went to Arkenfall several days in a row, but the trips were private, I found out by accident..."

Julian slowly explained, sharing all he knew with Holly.

He was indeed curious about Leo before, even followed him for a while, hence he knew these things.

Leo wasn’t as simple as he appeared, much like Holly before him, who looked soft and harmless.

Holly seed defenseless and weak, yet who would know this young girl was the feared Pantheon leader?

"Oh."

Holly’s reaction was particularly calm, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, a few thoughts forming in her mind.

So, Leo wasn’t as he seed and was hiding his abilities.

"But boss, you and Leo..."

Julian blinked, eagerly looking at Holly, ever curious, yet never daring to ask until now, only scratching the surface, mindful of Holly’s commanding presence.

"Is that sothing you should be asking?"

Holly raised an eyebrow.

"I’m sorry, boss, I shouldn’t have asked."

Julian quickly apologized, Holly’s matters weren’t for him to pry into.

"Boss, let prepare so late-night food for you."

Julian quickly called for food, eager to host Holly properly as no ordinary visit from her should go unattended.

It simply wouldn’t do; even if Holly said nothing, others at The Pantheon, like Ruan, would definitely point out his neglect, besides Holly deserved his respect.

"No need, it’s late, I should head back to sleep. I’ll have a late-night snack next ti."

Holly yawned, slowly speaking.

It’s indeed quite late; she sneaked out and should sneak back as well, who knows if Leo would notice if she’s late.

"Ah, boss..."

"Oh, do keep an eye on Leo for ."

Holly stood up and left with those words.

She still wanted to know more about Leo, to help him if necessary.

Julian watched Holly walk away, blinking.

He felt a sense of strangeness he couldn’t quite describe.
