Leo bought a bottle of water on the mountain, then accompanied Holly as they climbed the steps one by one.

At first, they weren’t tired, Holly and Leo chatted as they walked, and both were in high spirits.

"Holly, do you have any plans for the future?"

The autumn sun was gentle, the warm sunshine poured over Leo, as if covering him with a golden glow. He lowered his head, gazing at Holly tenderly.

Not knowing what the young girl had in mind.

"I don’t."

Holly shook her head.

Perhaps she really had none. She didn’t have significant plans for the future; she lived according to what made her happy.

If asked about her plans for the future, her answer would be simply to find joy.

"How about staying by your brother’s side in the future?"

Leo reached out to tousle Holly’s hair, his voice gentle.

He wanted the girl to always stay by his side.

Holly looked up at Leo, sunlight bathing her, tilting her head slightly, and her expression was sowhat hesitant.

Stay by Leo’s side?

Could she do that?

The answer was uncertain.

She didn’t know if she’d leave, as she had always planned to.

She didn’t dare to respond to such uncertainty, afraid that she couldn’t do it.

"Silly girl."

Leo tousled Holly’s hair again, his tone exceptionally gentle.

The girl was clearly hesitating.

"Brother, I’m not sure about anything..."

Holly bit her lip lightly, speaking slowly because of her uncertainty, hence not daring to agree.

"That’s okay, the answer isn’t urgent."

Leo looked fondly at Holly.

Nothing mattered much, he could wait for Holly’s answer.

The climb was a long one, yet Holly’s stamina was decent, she didn’t feel tired even upon reaching the top.

"Your stamina is pretty good."

Leo patted Holly’s shoulder, saying sowhat surprised.

Indeed, it was quite unexpected. He didn’t think the girl’s stamina was that good; she didn’t tire from the base to the summit.

Holly: "Hmm, it’s alright."

There actually weren’t many people at the summit, just a few scattered individuals.

"Brother, I’m scared of being alone."

Leo went to reserve a room. Initially planning for two, but Holly clung to Leo’s shirt, speaking softly, her tone revealing timidity.

"Alright."

Leo booked a double room.

The sunset was truly beautiful. After dinner, Holly and Leo sat in an open space, admiring the setting sun.

"Brother, it’s really beautiful."

Holly leaned on Leo’s shoulder, her eyes fixated on the sun at the horizon.

The sun tinged the sky with colorful clouds, vibrant and truly lovely.

Leo echoed: "Yeah, it’s beautiful."

Holly, delighted, took out her phone to take pictures, her whole deanor was particularly cheerful.

She loved sunsets. When dusk fell upon her, there was no smoke nor dust, only light and hope.

To her, sunsets were enchanting, intoxicatingly beautiful.

Bexley’s night view was also especially beautiful. Holly fell asleep on Leo’s shoulder, truly quite tired.

"Little fool."

Upon confirming Holly was asleep, Leo slightly curled his lips, thinking how his little girl truly resembled a little fool.

Holly looked serene as she slept; Leo thought if he could always watch her sleep, it wouldn’t be a form of happiness.

Leo carefully carried Holly inside, movents cautious, afraid to wake her.

"I don’t want to be your brother anymore, don’t know if you’ll understand."

Leo gently laid Holly on the bed, gazing intently at her sleeping face, speaking the words with utmost gentleness.

He didn’t want just to be her brother.

Not knowing if the girl truly didn’t understand or was pretending not to.

The next day, Holly woke up early, clamoring to see the sunrise.

Leo accompanied Holly to watch the sunrise, seeing her excitent filled him with joy.

As long as the girl was happy.

The sun slowly peeked out from the east like a round head, shy like a child.

A poem goes, "As the sun rises, flowers in the river are redder than fire, co spring, the river water is green as blue."

The sunrise was indeed beautiful, making Holly’s mood uplifted.

"In the future, brother can accompany to watch the sunrise at 5 AM, and the sunset at 7 PM."

Leo glanced sideways at Holly, his smile was gentle.

He had no other intentions, just hoped they could be together every day.

They could watch the sunrise at 5 AM, and the sunset at 7 PM, aning: we can be together every day.

"Alright."

Holly’s brows and eyes curved as she looked at Leo with tenderness.

Having soone accompany you to watch the sunrise and sunset was indeed an exceptionally happy thing.

"Holly, I don’t want to be your brother anymore."

In the midst of the sunrise, Leo’s gaze softly landed on Holly’s head, suddenly saying those words.

Holly watched the sunrise, while he watched Holly.

The sunrise was beautiful, but in Leo’s heart, it could never match Holly’s beauty.

"Huh?"

Holly turned her head blankly, blinking for a mont, looking at Leo with confusion.

She seed to not understand what Leo ant, giving off a bewildered aura.

"I said, I don’t want to be your brother anymore."

Once more, Leo repeated, his tone full of determination, and his gaze on Holly was serious.

He didn’t want to be just Holly’s brother anymore, even though that soft and sweet "brother" sounded lovely.

"Why?"

Half-understanding, Holly looked at Leo with curiosity, as if she truly couldn’t comprehend his words.

Pretending not to understand, Holly just felt her mind was a ss, unsure of what she truly thought.

"Doesn’t Holly understand?"

Leo asked, his smile turning a bit bitter.

The girl definitely understands; she’s just pretending not to. She isn’t as innocent as she seems.

Rather helpless, but he couldn’t expose the girl.

On the outside, she appeared as a little rabbit, but truly she was a wolf in sheep’s clothing, sothing Leo was particularly aware of.

"I don’t really understand."

Holly shook her head.

"Does brother an not wanting Holly anymore? But Holly has no ho."

Holly dropped her gaze hopelessly, her deanor full of grievance, pitifully looking at Leo.

"Brother’s ho is Holly’s ho."

"Brother doesn’t want to leave Holly."

"Since Holly doesn’t understand, then just think you didn’t hear it."

Seeing the girl’s upset expression made Leo feel nothing but pained inside.

He gently coaxed her, his tone exceptionally affectionate and doting.
