"Here, the nu."

Leo Grant pushed the nu in front of Holly Sawyer, letting her order.

He didn’t know what the young girl liked to eat.

"I want beef rice bites, grilled eel sushi, and fried shrimp."

Holly held the nu and ordered three dishes, gently biting her lip as if she was hesitating.

Hmm, it’s late and eating too much isn’t good, plus I’ve already had a lot today.

"That’s all?"

Leo looked up at Holly, his eyes showing a slight disbelief.

This wasn’t right for the young girl’s appetite, she could eat a lot, the sushi portions were small, and what she ordered was really not much, which seed a bit illogical.

"Hmm, that’s enough, there’s also a cake."

Holly put the cake on the table, blinked and said.

Leo didn’t say much, he ordered the sa things as Holly, the things she liked, he would try to like them too.

"Brother, you have to light the candles for ."

Holly opened the cake box, then handed the candles to Leo, blinking lightly.

Actually, the cake’s appearance was quite indescribable. Leo suddenly felt embarrassed to the extre, a feeling he’d never had before.

The first cake he ever made, he thought it wouldn’t be great but also not too bad, yet the result was really disappointing.

Leo inserted three candles into the cake.

"Brother, I’m twenty-one."

Seeing Leo prepare to light the candles, Holly blinked softly.

She was twenty-one, yet Leo inserted only three candles.

"In my eyes, you can be like a three-year-old child."

Leo slightly smiled, slowly speaking in an exceptionally gentle tone.

To him, Holly could always remain innocent and joyful, to live like a child, and he could protect her innocence.

She could do nothing, think about nothing; let him handle everything.

"Huh?"

Holly blinked, a bit unclear about what Leo ant.

Be like a three-year-old child.

So, what does a three-year-old child look like?

Hmm, strange.

"Three-year-olds look younger."

Leo shook his head and gently rubbed Holly’s head, speaking softly.

The young girl didn’t understand, so let it be.

"Oh, oh."

Holly nodded thoughtfully.

Lighting the candles, Leo sang the birthday song for Holly, while she closed her eyes to make a wish.

She hoped that Leo could accompany her on her birthdays in the future, wishing ti would pass a little slower, spending more ti with Leo.

Initially, she said she wanted to leave, but now she hoped in vain to never leave.

"What did you wish for?"

Holly blew out the candles; Leo looked at her with a half-smile and slowly asked.

He wanted to know whether Holly’s wish included him, and nothing more.

"If you say your wish, it won’t co true."

Holly cheekily blinked and tilted her head at Leo.

"If you tell , I can help make it co true."

Leo looked at Holly tenderly.

He really wanted to know what Holly’s wish was, whether it involved him.

"I believe the heavens will help it co true."

Holly shook her head, speaking with a naive expression.

She actually didn’t believe in such things, it was just a way to appease Leo.

Future matters should be discussed in the future, she didn’t know if they could be realized.

Leo looked at Holly, smiled without saying a word.

"Brother, here you go."

Holly placed the sliced cake in front of Leo, her smile especially gentle.

"The taste is really nice."

Holly took a bite, nodded approvingly, looking contentedly at Leo.

Though the appearance wasn’t great, the taste was indeed nice, quite delicious.

"Next ti, I’ll make you a pretty one."

Leo also tasted a bit of the cake he made, the taste wasn’t bad, a successful step per se.

Next ti on her birthday, he’ll make sure to present her with a beautiful, exquisite cake.

"Sure!"

Holly’s brows and eyes curved into a smile.

Next ti.

When is next ti?

Holly knew very well in her heart, that next ti might not co.

"Happy birthday, young girl, may you have no worries in your future days, always happy and joyful."

Leo like a magician, took out a small exquisite box from his pocket, handing it to Holly.

Holly blinked, naturally accepting the gift from Leo, without a burden.

"Brother, what’s this?"

The box had a bit of weight, Holly weighed it in her hand, blinking and asking.

Leo: "You open it yourself."

Holly opened the box, inside quietly lay a silver bracelet, simple, without many patterns, just a plain silver bracelet.

"It’s for you."

Leo looked at Holly tenderly.

"Thank you, brother."

Holly’s brows and eyes curved into a smile, although not an expensive item, she felt very happy.

Silver bracelets have nurturing properties, symbolizing safety and peace.

Bracelets have quite a use, not only can they help detect health conditions, within scope, they can assist in cell tabolism.

A silver bracelet is also a simple accessory, not expensive, but with great aning.

"Let help you put it on."

Leo took the bracelet from the box and helped Holly put it on.

Holly’s hands were white, tender, and slender.

Her hand lacked an accessory, and a silver bracelet looked lovely.

Girls Holly’s age mostly preferred silver jewelry, not quite fond of gold.

Although gold jewelry is expensive, and prices higher, its color doesn’t appeal to young girls.

"Lovely."

Holly shook her wrist showing the silver bracelet, her smile particularly sweet.

Quite lovely.

She didn’t like flashy things, so her hands were mostly bare, the silver bracelet Leo gave looked nice.

Leo: "Glad you like it."

Her first silver bracelet was from her mom, but it got small, never resized, and remained side-lined.

Her wrist remained bare for many years, now Leo gifted her another silver bracelet.

The night grew deeper, many shops closed, and as Leo and Holly exited the sushi shop, it was nearly midnight.

"Are you tired?"

Leo turned his head to look at Holly, his expression gentle.

"Hmm, a bit."

Holly gave a big yawn, rubbed her eyes.

Really a bit tired.

When Leo drove ho, Holly had fallen asleep, it was Leo who carefully carried Holly out of the car.

The young girl was light, not weighing much.
