Why would Sean Grant be in the little girl’s room? Leo Grant’s mood imdiately soured, and as he looked at Sean, a shadow of anger crossed his face.

"Brother..."

Upon seeing Leo Grant, Holly’s tears fell instantly. She blinked, her eyes brimming with grievance.

Like a frightened little white rabbit, evoking compassion.

"What’s wrong?"

Leo Grant quickly walked to Holly’s side, speaking gently to inquire.

"Nothing."

Holly shook her head, her eyes filled with tears, looking very aggrieved and scared.

"Sean, what do you an by this?"

Leo turned to look at Sean, his voice sowhat cold.

Sean, a grown man, actually entered the young girl’s room, making her look so terrified and aggrieved.

"Brother, I didn’t do it on purpose, I heard the little girl screaming, and that’s why I ran in. I was planning to find you."

Sean explained, as Leo’s room is very close to Holly’s.

As Sean spoke, his expression remained particularly calm, without a hint of fear.

Leo frowned.

"Brother, there was a mouse just now, Holly was scared."

Holly tightly gripped the blanket, lightly biting her lip. Her voice trembled a little, much like a startled little white rabbit.

A mouse?

Knowing the truth, Sean couldn’t help the twitch at the corner of his mouth. That performance was indeed sothing.

Although Leo heard the word "mouse," he didn’t actually believe it, having lived here for so many years without ever seeing a so-called mouse.

"A mouse, huh?"

Leo frowned, looking at the girl.

The young girl looked very aggrieved, her expression and actions all portraying her fear.

"Brother, it’s over there."

The young girl suddenly pointed toward the curtains, clutching the blanket even tighter.

At the spot near the curtains, there did seem to be sothing moving, and sounds ca out, resembling that of a mouse quite closely.

Sean frowned, stepping toward the window to pull open the curtains. Sure enough, he saw a mouse. The mouse squeaked, its eyes watching Sean.

There really is a mouse?

And it’s not even afraid of humans?

"Brother, I’m scared."

The young girl bit her lip tightly, her expression becoming even more pitiable.

Sean easily picked up the small mouse and placed it in front of Leo. "Brother, there really is a mouse."

Sean was puzzled inside. Where did Holly get a mouse from?

Was everything pre-planned?

If that were the case, then this young girl is indeed a bit scary, and she could also be a stumbling block for him.

He thought the girl called Leo in to say sothing else, but unexpectedly, she borrowed the mouse to brush the matter off, successfully making him leave.

The young girl is really quite clever.

Leo took the mouse from Sean’s hand, "Don’t be afraid, Holly. Brother will throw the mouse out right now."

He said and then walked out.

"How did the mouse get here?"

As soon as Leo left, Sean began to question.

"The mouse was already here before you ca in."

Holly raised her eyebrows, knowing she couldn’t possibly bring a tiger in. She had made full preparations for sure.

The mouse was arranged beforehand, just waiting for Leo to co in so she could release the mouse.

"I recorded it."

Sean shook the phone in his hand, smiling slightly as he spoke.

He recorded Holly’s every word.

Holly crossed her arms, resting them behind her head, a faint smile playing on her lips, "Do you think I’d be that careless?"

From the mont Sean entered, Holly knew he was recording, so of course, she had made ample preparations.

As a hacker, she knew many things others wouldn’t even dare to think about.

Erasing a recording is just a simple and easy matter for her.

"Sean, you should leave now. It’s inappropriate for you to stay in the young girl’s room."

Leo soon returned, casting a glance at Sean, issuing the order to leave in a slightly cold tone.

"Brother, I want you to hear sothing."

Sean raised his phone, slowly beginning to speak.

Holly remained just as calm, without any expression, her calmness almost over the top.

Leo nodded, "Okay."

Sean played the recording, putting it in front of Leo, yet it remained completely silent.

One second, two seconds, even a minute passed, still not a single sound, utterly quiet.

Leo frowned. What was Sean doing?

Holly’s expression didn’t change at all, only a slight, nearly imperceptible curve appeared at the corners of her lips.

"What are you trying to let hear?"

Leo began to grow impatient.

"Nothing, brother, I’m leaving now."

Sean turned off the recording and walked out, not forgetting to glance at Holly.

Looking at Holly’s calm deanor, Sean knew Holly had done sothing, but since she didn’t touch his phone, how did she do it?

Sean was especially puzzled inside.

"Young girl, where did the mouse co from, hmm? Tell your brother."

Leo walked to Holly’s bedside, speaking gently as he inquired, looking at the young girl with tender eyes.

Having lived here for so long, he’d never seen a mouse, so the young girl should know best where the mouse ca from.

"Huh?"

Leo’s question left Holly montarily bewildered.

This question from Leo...

"It’s not good for little kids to lie, their nose will grow longer."

Leo reached out, gently tweaking Holly’s nose, his voice remaining extraordinarily gentle.

His gaze upon Holly was also gentle.

"Mm, brother, actually I caught it myself."

Holly lightly bit her lower lip, her eyes unblinking as she looked at Leo, admitting to her actions.

"Don’t you have anything else to say?"

Leo gently ruffled Holly’s hair, slowly asking as he looked at her with tender eyes.

Holly blinked, thinking Leo’s gaze felt so tender, she felt like she was about to fall for it.

Damn, it’s so scary.

Holly shook her head, "No."

"Really no?"

Leo confird once more, a slight curve hanging on his lips as he looked at Holly.

Holly paused for a mont, then blinked and shook her head.

Really no.

What else could she say?

That Sean was let in by her intentionally, and the recording Sean had was erased by her?

No, she definitely couldn’t say those things.

"Alright then, if you ever want to say sothing, let know, hmm?"

Leo slightly curved his lips as he spoke.

"It’s late, let’s sleep now. Good night."

Leo bid Holly good night and then walked out.
