Perhaps it’s still because of the New Year’s holiday, there weren’t many people at the Civil Affairs Bureau, just Holly Sawyer and Leo Grant.
After the two took photos, signed, and pressed their fingerprints, the two red certificates were in their hands.
The procedure wasn’t complicated; it was quite quick.
Holding the red certificate, Holly was montarily dazed. It happened so fast, she got it so easily.
"What’s up, stunned?"
Leo gently tapped Holly’s head and spoke softly, his voice carrying a hint of joy.
From now on, Holly belonged to him, officially recorded in the household register.
Thinking of this, Leo’s smile deepened a bit.
They took a photo holding hands, attached the marriage certificate, and posted it on their social dia.
Of course, the social dia post went viral. They turned off their phones and decided to go eat.
"Brother, I want to eat barbecue, haven’t had it in a long ti."
Holly gently licked her lips and slowly spoke.
It was already afternoon when they left the Civil Affairs Bureau.
"Alright."
Leo nodded in agreent.
He rarely refuses Holly’s requests, and he won’t do so now either.
Holly kept chatting away, her lips moving non-stop, chirping away, while Leo smiled slightly, joy evident around his lips.
Leo glanced sideways at Holly and suddenly leaned down to kiss her lips.
Initially, it was just a gentle kiss, but then he gradually deepened it.
"Oh no, my lipstick’s gone."
Kissing in a crowded place for the first ti, Holly’s face turned crimson, flushed with shyness.
She patted her cheeks softly and spoke with a hint of playful reproach.
"No worries, it’ll be gone once we eat barbecue anyway; it’s just a matter of ti."
Leo chuckled lightly, his eyes brimming with a gentle smile, and he looked at Holly adoringly.
Early or late, it seems there’s not much difference, right?
Holly: "..."
Seems to make sense.
"Let’s go, ti for barbecue."
Leo gently ruffled Holly’s hair, his voice filled with delight.
"Okay."
Holly nodded lightly.
There weren’t many people in the barbecue restaurant, but the atmosphere was wonderful, with warm yellow lights setting the mood perfectly.
"Oh, right, brother, I have sothing to give you."
After they sat down, Holly suddenly began rummaging through her bag, speaking calmly as she did so.
Leo asked, "What is it?"
"Here you go."
Holly pulled out a set of keys from her pocket and handed it to Leo, a faint smile on her lips.
"What’s this?"
Leo looked at the keys, slightly puzzled, not quite understanding what Holly ant.
"Rember I promised a surprise?"
Holly blinked gently, her eyes filled with twinkling joy.
She had ant to give them to Leo earlier, but thought it might be better to do so on the day they registered their marriage.
Now was just the perfect ti to give it to him.
"So, what is this?"
Leo’s smile was particularly bright, as he rubbed the keys in his hand, his grin growing deeper.
Not knowing what it was.
"A shop, this also belongs to you."
Holly handed Leo a contract from her bag, blinking lightly.
It was a contract signed under Leo’s na, sothing that belonged to him.
"What’s sold in there?"
Leo suddenly laughed, his smile deepened.
He quickly understood that this was Holly’s surprise for him, using his previous trick to start another shop.
"Take a guess."
Holly chuckled, playfully sticking her tongue out at Leo.
It’s not open yet, still under renovation, so she gave Leo the keys.
"Do you still want to play guessing gas with ?"
Leo’s lips curved with a smile as he spoke softly, his tone exceptionally gentle.
This girl still wanted to play hide-and-seek with him, not intending to tell him, Leo chuckled softly.
"Yeah, if you want to know, go see for yourself."
Holly blinked, her face playful, putting a piece of grilled at into her mouth.
There was laughter hidden in the depths of Holly’s eyes, twinkling like stars.
"Okay, I’ll go see for myself."
Leo responded, his gentle gaze falling on Holly’s face.
This girl eating was extrely cute, making him happy just to watch.
When you like soone, perhaps everything they do seems adorable.
Even knowing they have flaws, you can’t sense them as flaws; you’d just find them charming.
"Let’s go after eating."
While grilling at, Leo said softly.
It’s still early afternoon, after eating it won’t be dark yet, Leo thought they could take a look.
His curiosity was indeed intense.
"Don’t, let’s go tomorrow."
Holly blinked lightly, speaking seriously, with a hint of pleading in her eyes.
Hmm.
Leo: "I’m really curious."
From the mont he got the keys, Leo was curious, wondering what kind of gift this girl had prepared for him, he really wanted to know.
"I think you’re more curious about my physiological structure."
With her mouth full, Holly lowered her head and didn’t look at Leo, her words soft and sweet.
Leo paused slightly, staring at Holly with a bright gaze, the smile in his eyes growing warr.
Indeed, compared to guessing what Holly would give him, he was more interested in what Holly ntioned.
The girl’s scent must be sweet, he hadn’t tried it yet, but really wanted to.
"Right, let’s head ho after eating."
Leo spoke softly, the smile on his lips never fading.
"It’s still early, we can stroll around."
Holly nodded lightly, speaking slowly.
After eating barbecue, it would probably be around four; the evening was still young, they could keep strolling.
Besides, after barbecue, she could definitely eat sothing else, her little belly could hold a lot.
Leo nodded: "Sure."
"Do you have any plans for the future?"
Holly asked, now that they had their marriage certificate, naturally it’s ti to plan for the future.
The concept of a boyfriend and girlfriend is different from that of a husband and wife.
Leo answered: "Preparing for the wedding."
"Isn’t there anything else?"
Holly asked.
"Materially everything can be satisfied, so I have no ambitions. As for kids, whether to have them or not is up to you."
Leo looked at Holly, speaking seriously.
Others usually consider when to have children, where to go, what to do, after getting married.
Leo felt these things are trivial.
How things were before, they’ll be the sa afterward; life is pretty much the sa.
He and Holly won’t argue over trivial daily matters like groceries, because he’ll always accommodate his girl.
