After leaving the Sichuan restaurant, Leo Grant and Holly Sawyer headed straight to the market.

Leo wanted to buy the ingredients needed for tonight, and Holly suggested the market because the produce there tends to be fresher.

The market was bustling with voices; the noise was quite chaotic, making Leo and Holly stand out in such an environnt.

"Brother hasn’t been to the market before, right?"

Holly glanced at Leo’s furrowed brows and blinked gently.

Leo nodded: "Mm."

Leo, who rarely even steps into the kitchen, naturally wouldn’t have set foot in a place like the market. Everything around him was utterly unfamiliar.

The sounds of vendors calling out and bargaining rose and fell.

Leo’s brows showed so displeasure, as he blinked lightly, not quite adapting to these scenes.

"Brother, what dish do you want to make?"

Holly held Leo’s hand and blinked gently.

Having frequented the market in the past, Holly was quite familiar with it and didn’t find the setting uncomfortable.

"I’ll make what you like, sweet and sour spare ribs, shrimps."

Leo spoke slowly, naturally he’d make what Holly liked.

Holly loved shrimp and sweet and sour spare ribs, among many other delicious dishes, but as a novice, Leo couldn’t make that many dishes at once, so he picked two to make.

He’s been diligently practicing these two dishes recently, and believed even if the taste wasn’t perfect, it wouldn’t be awful.

"Alright."

Holly’s lips curved slightly, her smile particularly sweet.

Wonderful.

At the shrimp stall, after asking the price, Leo started to let the vendor weigh the shrimp.

"Boss, can you make the shrimp a bit cheaper?"

Holly stopped Leo and spoke slowly, a faint smile on her lips.

Of course, when buying groceries, one must bargain.

"The shrimp is this price."

The vendor looked at Leo and Holly’s attire and imdiately realized they were certainly wealthy, so he raised the price significantly, thinking they wouldn’t mind a bit of extra expense.

"The shrimp at other stalls is only twenty-two yuan."

Holly spoke slowly, her tone calm.

Did they really think she didn’t know the shrimp prices? They had raised it to over thirty yuan.

Leo glanced at Holly, his eyes filled with confusion. He didn’t know the price of shrimp per pound and had never paid attention to such things.

This girl actually knows the market prices.

The vendor was montarily speechless, looking at Holly, surprised that she knew this.

He chuckled awkwardly and weighed more than a pound of shrimp for Leo.

"Boss, can you shave off a bit?"

Holly blinked. With shrimp costing less than twenty-five yuan, shaving off a bit ant around twenty.

Leo was stunned, was this really allowed? No way?

He didn’t quite understand.

The vendor was reluctant, but under Holly’s soft coercion, eventually agreed to shave off a bit.

This girl... really is sothing.

Seeing their attire, he knew they weren’t short on money, thinking he could rip them off good, but didn’t expect this girl was quite shrewd.

It’s easiest to cheat money from the wealthy, as they usually don’t bargain; the vendor thought he could rip off Holly and Leo but didn’t succeed.

"The girl really knows how to bargain."

Walking out of the market, Leo looked at Holly warmly.

He was unfamiliar with the market environnt, unaware such a place allowed bargaining, thinking it was like supermarkets or malls with standard prices.

Perhaps today he gained so new knowledge.

This girl seems quite familiar with the market, likely having shopped here often before.

"Of course, even though I’m not short on money, one should still save where they can."

Holly blinked, speaking proudly.

Groceries aren’t that expensive, not even close to the cost of a al out. She wasn’t short on money, but felt prices should be bargained down when possible.

Leo’s lips curled: "Such a hobody."

"I’m truly fortunate."

"To be able to marry such a wonderful wife."

"Knows how to save money, make money, act cute, and incredibly adorable."

Leo looked at Holly with uniquely gentle eyes.

Being able to marry Holly would undoubtedly be his greatest blessing in life.

"I never said I’d marry you."

Holly glared at Leo, her tone turning slightly hostile.

Honestly, he was so shaless; she never said she’d marry Leo.

He hadn’t even proposed.

"Besides , who else would you marry?"

Leo pulled Holly into his embrace, his warm breath directly hitting Holly’s cheek, his voice carrying a hint of pleasure.

This girl could only be his; he’d marry her and love her dearly.

This lifeti, he only wanted Holly by his side—she was enough.

"In this world, three-legged frogs are hard to find, but there are plenty of two-legged n, not just you."

Holly pouted, staring at Leo with the intent of deliberately teasing him.

Humph, maybe she had really been spoiled; her frequency of getting annoyed was skyrocketing, though she wasn’t truly angry.

Hmm, she even felt she was getting a bit sassy.

"But no man as outstanding as ."

Leo’s eyes held laughter, gazing at Holly, speaking slowly.

Holly: "..."

This is what they call being shaless, right?

Seriously.

Holly retorted: "Who said?"

Leo stated with certainty: "I did."

"Shaless."

Holly slapped Leo’s hand, her little face puffing with anger.

Seriously shaless, she discovered another skill of Leo’s: being shaless.

She hadn’t noticed this before.

"If being shaless can an marrying Holly, then I think I’m not the least bit shaless."

Leo spoke earnestly, looking at Holly with a smile.

Holly: "..."

She felt she almost didn’t recognize this person in front of her, thinking Leo might have been swapped; this wasn’t the way he was before.

"Haven’t even proposed yet, and you dream of marrying , dream on."

Holly’s little face puffed up with anger, her arms crossed, glaring coldly at Leo.

Humph, truly.

"Oh, so my little Holly cares about this."

Leo suddenly laughed, gently ruffling Holly’s hair.

He hadn’t said anything against proposing, just teasing Holly out of whimsy, finding her puffed-up cheeks amusing and explosively cute.

"Certainly not."

Holly slapped Leo’s hand away, stepping back slightly to create so distance.

Humph, she was kind of annoyed.
