Chapter 1634: Chapters 1582-1583: Taoist Monarch’s Ga, Thunder thod Clashes

Standing at different levels, one’s view of the landscape between heaven and earth also differs.

For the majority of the strong in this world, their gaze is fixed above True Immortals; even for so immortal sects, having one more True Immortal can offer unimaginable help, allowing them to reach greater heights.

True Immortals represent a tamorphosis from mortal life, symbolizing immortality and indestructibility, with nearly infinite lifespan and boundless combat power.

Therefore, for many powers, the label of True Immortal Seed is the highest of appraisals, signifying the future and hope.

But from the perspective of the top immortal sects, or figures like Ancestor Celestial Master, who are Taoist Monarchs, it’s an entirely different view.

For them, indeed, a True Immortal Seed is not bad, and True Immortals are even peak existences within top immortal sects.

But to these Taoist Monarchs, True Immortals are just like how ordinary True Immortals view Supre Strong Ones – after all, destroyable.

The difference between the True Immortal Sixth Layer and True Immortal Seventh Layer seems like only a small threshold, a major leap, but in reality, the gap between the two is like an abyss, many tis greater than that between an ordinary Supre Strong One and a True Immortal.

At the level of a Taoist Monarch, they have already reached the final stages on the path of Immortal Dao, or even, like Longevity Taoist Monarch Pei Xuanjing, they are able to see the end of the path of Immortal Dao that they have carved out.

Whether you are an Extre Path True Immortal focused on a single way, a Xuan Immortal cultivating three paths, or like Longevity Taoist Monarch who practices the five Immortal Paths of Heaven, Earth, Man, God, and Ghost, as long as you can step onto the seventh tier on the path of Immortal Dao, it ans there are no major obstacles left on the path for you. Even if one were to rely solely on the accumulation of ti, gradually piling up fortunate opportunities, sooner or later one will reach the ninth step, arriving at True Immoral Ninth Layer, the ultimate realm of Immortal Dao.

However, among those who have reached this step, which one of them is not an unparalleled genius, which one is not a dominator of countless worlds? They will certainly not be content with staying where they are; their ambition will constantly push them forward.

To these figures, ordinary True Immortals are indeed not weak and can greatly assist the developnt of their power, but if one cannot reach the level of a Taoist Monarch, then that is all they amount to.

Only by truly stepping into the level of Taoist Monarch, possessing the qualification to do so, can one have the future right to stand shoulder to shoulder with them, becoming their Taoist Friend, jointly seeking and exploring realms beyond True Immortals, pursuing true immortality.

This is why, within the True Immortal Seeds, if a detailed classification is to be made, the top echelon should be beings like Little Heavenly Master Zhang Yiwei, with the stature of a Taoist Monarch; these geniuses are worthy of Taoist Monarchs’ attention and approval.

If Wan Fayi were just a simple True Immortal Seed, even if he were to follow the All Laws Return to One path deduced by Pei Xuanjing, Pei Xuanjing, despite his appreciation, would rely give so advice and would not devote so much ti to personally cultivate him.

Ordinary True Immortals, even slightly stronger ones, are not worth Pei Xuanjing’s attention; with the current size of the Shenxiao Sect, they don’t care whether they have one more or one less True Immortal.

Perhaps in so people’s eyes, Pei Xuanjing and these veteran True Monarchs hold the authority of the Divine Land World; they are not willing to share what they control, and there is a significant conflict with the newly ascended Dao Lords.

But in fact, this is not the case. While there is indeed a conflict of interest in the struggle for authority between the two, these veteran Taoist Monarchs like Pei Xuanjing have never deliberately oppressed the other side; they only make a move when the other side shows covetousness for their authority.

There is a complete conceptual difference between active suppression and retaliation when the other side makes a move; it’s believed that everyone can clearly distinguish this point.

Pei Xuanjing and the others can allow these individuals to grow, but the premise is that the latter do not harm their interests, or in other words, since they have given the others room and opportunity to grow, they do not co to the fore for the sake of harming their own interests.

Therefore, as for the so-called “lying low and retreating” among these newly ascended Dao Lords, their absence from returning to other worlds, slowing down the fusion of so worlds, Pei Xuanjing and his peers let things take their course.

If Pei Xuanjing and these veteran Taoist Monarchs really wanted to suppress them, they would not have given them such opportunities to begin with; considering their power, it would be easy for them to suppress these individuals. Don’t be fooled by these also being ascending Taoist strong ones; there is also a gap in strength between them.

Even to say sothing unpleasant, if these veteran Taoist Monarchs were selfish and feared challenges, they would not have casually allowed these True Immortals to ascend to Dao Lords; they would have made their move before the other’s ascension, not leaving the threat till now.

Only with more and more strong ones erging, with everyone verifying and discussing the paths of cultivation, with an increasing number of different paths of strong ones erging, can the correct path be found, adding to one’s own foundation for the next step up.

For many Supre Strong Ones and True Immortals, Pei Xuanjing and their forerunners are the beacons on their path of cultivation, the guiders whom they follow in their pursuit along the Immortal Dao.
