"Swoosh!" Out of the blue, the barren rocky ground shook restlessly, as if sothing was drilling out from underground.

"Ah!" The soldiers quickly dodged as they watched a long series of dark figures burst from the ground. Upon closer inspection, those things turned out to be vines!

Like spirit snakes, the vines grew straight up into the sky in long strands.

Several demonic dragons charging ahead were suddenly entangled by the rapidly growing vines. Despite their frantic struggles, those re vines that appeared no thicker than hemp ropes managed to withstand the trendous strength of the demonic dragons. The more the demonic dragons struggled, the tighter the vines coiled around them.

One after another, more vines sprouted from the ground, forming a cage that enveloped the demonic dragons, continuously tightening around them until they were strangled to death. Dragon blood dripped onto the vines, causing them to grow even more wildly.

"Ah–oh!" The demonic dragon in the lead witnessed the turn of events and imdiately roared, commanding the dragon group to disperse.

"Buzz!" Without warning, a wall of mud appeared in the sky, blocking the demonic dragons' path. Unable to stop in ti, so of the dragons had crashed into it.

"Crack!" After crashing into the mud wall, the demonic dragons made their way to the other side, yet they were all turned into stone sculptures, falling to the ground and shattering into pieces.

Boom!

Several lightning bolts struck from the sky without a hint of dark clouds. Demonic dragons that were struck were turned into conductors, spreading the electric current to nearby companions.

"This is!" Upon seeing that, the Spirit King got sowhat emotional. The lightning resembled the Lightning Strike Spear of the Spirit King, which was taught to him by a great spirit, naly…

"Elder Raysky!" Philip shouted. The Spirit King followed his gaze to see several spirits standing on a distant barren rocky mountain.

Wearing gray robes fluttering in the wind, eight elental elders with the highest status in Spirit Kingdom stood there. They were the wind elent – Wind Blade, fog – Illusion, lightning – Raysky, wood – Woodkin, earth – Earthite; water – Moist Water, poison – Darkheart; Fire – Firesect.

Six males and two females.

The magic previously unleashed belonged to Woodkin, Earthite, and Raysky.

Being able to eliminate over half of the dragons with a single move from such a far distance had left the spirits in awe of the elders.

In Spirit Kingdom, a saying circulated: With the guidance of the elders, becoming stronger overnight is not a dream.

The "Strong Spirit Contest" held before Lin Xiang t Remi was specifically organized for the younger generation to receive the elders' magic teachings. Every contestant entering the finals of the competition among elites was a top-tier talent. Remi was ranked first, but due to Lin Xiang, he lost his spot, missing an opportunity to beco stronger and benefiting other spirits.

Of course, Remi did not care about that.

Returning to the battlefield.

With the appearance of the elental elders, the battle situation changed once again.

Wind Blade, the wind elder, summoned several tornadoes, reaping the demon soldiers and pulling so dragons in. Firesect, the fire elder, with powerful fire magic, surpassed the dark flas of the demonic dragon, engulfing and destroying it.

"Ah–oh?" Suddenly, a female demonic dragon appeared in front of two male demonic dragons. If dragons could be compared to humans, that female dragon would be a stunning beauty.

That beauty teased the two male demonic dragons, flying around them.

“Woo woo woo.” The two male demonic dragons followed her movents, and in their attempt to win her affection, they began fighting each other. In the midst of their mutual slaughter, the female demonic dragon opened her mouth, biting one dragon's neck and killing it.

Before the other male demonic dragon could celebrate, the female demonic dragon whipped its tail, striking its head, knocking it to the ground, and then ramming into it fiercely.

When the dust dissipated, there was no trace of the female demonic dragon, only the slain male demonic dragon.

Hallucinations were not frightening. The terrifying thing was if the hallucination was real.

It was sothing that a fog spirit, Illusion, could easily achieve.

Moist Water and Poisonheart were both elderly won with many wrinkles on their faces, much older than the other elders. They normally sat in a stone chamber, rarely moving about, and spoke very little. They were constantly absorbed in their own affairs, such as embroidery, much like other elderly people. However, when they engaged in battle that day, they seed to be decades younger.

Moist Water used water magic to summon a vast sea, covering the sky in a layer of water, entrapping the remaining dragons within it. That made the spirits underneath feel like they had entered an underwater world.

anwhile, Poisonheart infused Moist Water’s water with poison. When struggling dragons touched the spreading toxin in the water, their eyes were widened as they beca motionless.

Yet, it was not over. Under Moist Water's control, the poisoned water turned into raindrops, falling onto the side of the demon soldiers.

The consequences of the demon soldiers in contact with the poisoned rain was obvious, even the mighty demon generals could not escape. Their faces turned purple, and upon contact, they perished.

"That’s aweso!!!" The spirit soldiers cheered in amusent! Their joy and amazent overflowed!

If only they could reach such a level; how wonderful would that be!

They yearned, the spirits aspired to beco stronger. No creature desired not to beco stronger!

"Hey, hey, Elder Moist Water, Elder Poisonheart, if you both continue doing this, all the demonic creatures will all be dead! We haven't even started warming up yet!" Wind Blade felt extrely aggrieved.

"You're not so bad yourself. At least you got to sweep away thousands of demon soldiers, while I killed only two dragons. Hmph." Elder Illusion frowned, feeling very unhappy.

"Too few, there are too few demonic creatures."

"Yes! We haven't taken any action in hundreds of years. If we don't get active now, I'm afraid we'll be in the ground next ti! Why are there so few demonic creatures?" Poisonheart tapped Moist Water's shoulder, "Look, even Sister Moist Water's shoulder got hard."

"But, no matter how long you guys haven't moved a muscle, you still need to leave so targets for the rest of us! I want to see the results of my decades of training." Wind Blade sighed.

"This is quite good, isn't it? You can save energy," Being slightly overweight, Raysky wiped the sweat off his forehead. The gray robe behind him was already soaked.

“Yeah, it’s so hot outside. Fortunately, the sun is setting now. If it were noon, you'd probably have lted," Woodkin joked.

"Oh, co on, aren’t you exaggerating it?"

"It's actually quite possible, especially when you're standing next to Firesect. Once he releases his magic, forget lting, you'd vaporize instantly," Earthite laughed heartily.

Firesect joined in the laughter.

As the elders chatted and laughed, the spirit soldiers and even the Spirit King ca over, bowing to the elders on the mountain.

"Thank you, Elders, for your help!" The Spirit King expressed heartfelt gratitude.

"No need for many words." Firesect saw the Spirit King's face and knew he had fought quite hard. After all, sothing had happened before that caused severe injuries to the Spirit King. Although he had recovered later, he could not use his abilities excessively.

"All of you here have persisted till this point, showing great bravery. Now, the Spirit Kingdom is facing an unprecedented invasion. Let us unite and fight against these demonic creatures together!"

"Oh!!! Defeat the demonic creatures! Defend the Spirit Kingdom!!!"
