"Luca," I whispered when my eyes flickered open. As if he were waiting for , he rushed toward the mont my eyes t lightning and I saw him, this is what I wanted, for him to be the first person that I saw.
"Luca, you are fine," I whispered, my eyes filled with a smile as I smiled at him, the mory of the crash ca rushing back to , I had been waiting for this, to make sure that he was fine and nothing had happened to him.
He rested his head against the nape of my neck and I wrapped my hand around him, pulling him closer to , I wanted to stand up and hug him properly when I unwrapped my hand around him and he settled beside .
I sat up. I was about to step my feet off the bed when Luca’s hand touched my feet and he rested it back on the bed.
"You need to rest Olivia, you have been badly injured and you don’t want the stitches to co off." He whispered and I nodded, it didn’t matter, what mattered was that, he was right here, I could see his face, I could see his injuries and he was breathing the sa air that I was, I could feel his presence and that’s all that mattered.
"How long have I been asleep, it feels like I have even sleeping for a while," I whispered.
"Fifteen hours," Luca said and my breath hitches, we are already in the next day, I can’t imagine how he must have felt, I am sure he has been worried about .
"I am fine now, I promise." I breathed out. I placed my hand on his and he leaned in to place a kiss against my face and on my cheek and also one gently on my lips.
"I will get the maid to bring you soenthong to eat, you need to take your vitamins, you have been asleep way too long and the last ti you ate was hours before we left the house."
"Luca calm down, I promise you I am fine, there is nothing wrong with , yes I feel a bit of pain but that’s normal right?" I asked mad he stared at with disbelief written all over his face.
"What’s wrong?." I asked.
"You are not scared, you are not worried that you are badly injured and you are not angry at for being the reason for that."
"This was never your fault, if for a monts you realized that being there would be dangerous for , you would have never let co with you no matter how much I begged, you would have locked inside the room till you ca back, and you didn’t Lucw and as for the pains, I can’t do anything about it, it’s not your fault that’s all I know and you escaped a near death experience, I don’t want to think about it, I am happy that you are here with , when I was asleep I had a dream about our life, about how happy we would be and there is nothing better than that." I smiled.
"That dream would co true that’s what you need to know and you are never leaving this bed unless I say so, I need to call the maid." He said as he reached out for the phone.
He told her what to do before he looked back at .
"Do you need a shower now or after the al?" He asked. I didn’t like to shower after a al because I always felt lazy after eating.
"A shower please," I whispered.

Luca is behaving overly protective, more than he usually does and this ti he was being careful too, like I am an egg that could break or I am glass and he is worried to step on .
The bath took ten minutes and he helped with my clothes in two minutes before he helped to the bed again, where he helped take care of my wounds.
"Is there sothing you are not telling ?" I asked.
"Have you al then we can talk about it." He said and I stared at him, I should have known he is hiding sothing because of how awfully quite he has been, I stared at him unable to utter any words: "it’s not a bad thing, what I am not telling you, and you don’t have o worry about it because I will tell you after you have your al, which ans you eat fast."
"Okay," I whispered, saying I don’t have to worry only made even more worried because why did he say that? What is it he is keeping that he didn’t tell about it since I needed to know about it?
He helped eat my al. Even though I told him that my hands are fine and I can feed myself, he didn’t listen to though, and after I finished my al. He helped with the vitamins that I was taking and after that. He settled on the bed beside .
"Do you need anything?" Luca asked.
"No, just tell why you rushed my bath and why you rushed to help wear my clothes and why are you so adamant on having on this bed because I don’t seem to understand that Luca, I barley have any stitched and I know that I feel fine when I stood up, it didn’t even open when that happened and I am sure the stitches are not even up to three." I breathed out.
"The doctor has asked you to be in bed for the next week and you can’t be on your feet longer than fifteen minutes. You have to always be on this bed."
"Why? Tell why." I whispered as he stared at , when he placed his hand on my stomach and a gasp fell out of my lips.
I stared at him unable to understand what he was saying when his eye t mine and my breath hitches, it can’t be possible, we have been so careful and we are not ready for it, why is he not freaking out, why is he not yelling, why did he just smile at ?
"Luca, tell it’s not what I am thinking about." I breathed out, and he shook his head, I know he didn’t an that. "I can’t ashen Luca, I need you to tell ." I breathed out.
As I waited anxiously for him to speak, his hand pulled away from my stomach and he placed a kiss on my face.
"We are having a baby Olivia," Luca whispered and my heart stopped beating for a single mont; I stared at him with disbelief written all over my face.
This is not how I expected it to happen, it’s not how I wanted it to happen.
"Luca we- o know you didn’t expect this and to be honest, I didn’t either, I didn’t think this would happen any thing soon, I thought it would when we have our house, when we are ready and when we have lived with each other for a while, when we have enjoyed the peace and quiet of being alone and with each other." He whispered cutting off
I placed my hand on my stomach and my eyes filled with tears, I am pregnant, I am about to beco a mother, how did the baby survive what happened, it only made scared and worried because it could happen again.
"Hey look at , you are going to be fine, nothing is ever going to happen to you or our baby, yes I made a mistake and I didn’t know sooner and we could have lost our baby because of what happened but God gave us another chance. One that you and I are never going to misuse, we are going to cherish it."
"What if, what if he finds out? Luca he is going to hurt and the baby; he is not going to be happy about and he would be mad that I even got pregnant in the first place." I breathed out against my lips and he shook his head,
He didn’t seem scared as I am and I needed him to be just as scared and worried as I am because this is a big deal.
"Just tell if you are happy about having this baby."
"I am, yes we didn’t want to have it now but it doesn’t matter, I am happy, I always desired to be a mother and I am happy that I am going to be one, I am even more happier that it’s with you Luca, you are going to be he father to my kids, do you have any idea how lucky I am, how lucky this baby is."
"Then you don’t have to worry about anything because it doesn’t matter anymore, because what matters is your happiness, no one will hurt you," Luca said and I smiled
