Christine’s POV
I am the Alpha, I answer to nobody, no one dares to question my decision, I am the leader and I control everything, every decision so I am going to make sure Conrad learns his lesson. I wonder what he told the other betas the reason behind the divorce. I won’t let him tarnish Olivia’s na.
He will have to learn the hard way, I won’t kill him but I will make make sure he tells a good reason behind the divorce, I will make sure he will tell everyone how good much of a person Olivia is.
I walk out of the office, I found myself walking to her room. She was still sound asleep.
"Why do I care about you so much." I ask her, she was asleep.
"Why did you have to find a mate in him, why didn’t you wait for ." I ask her.
She should waited for . She should have rejected Conrad, if she did I won’t have to be doing this to him. I caress her hair before leaning in to press a kiss on her forehead. She cald down, her presence alone is enough to make figure out the right decision.
I smiled one last ti before walking out, there was guard walking around the hallway when I stopped him.
"Make sure she stays her room until the eting is over." I say and he nods. "Fucking answer when I speak to you." I yell.
He shivers in fear. I like it when they are scared of .
"I’m sorry alpha, I will make sure she stays in her room."
I know how stubborn she can be like the first night Ares brought her to the other house, she has one important rule to stay in her room but she didn’t. I saw her peeping at us listening to our conversations, I didn’t say a word because I like what she did, I love a woman that stands strong on what to do, what she wants. I know she saw that woman she could have tried to run after that day but she didn’t, this made believe she is made for .
All the betas were there, we have important matters to take care of. We have a threat at hand, a different werwolf city that is threatening our wellbeing.
"We start destroying them before it’s too late." I say.
"We can tried a peaceful negotiation, maybe sothing in exchange for peace." One of the betas suggested.
I am alpha Luca, I don’t follow the peaceful route. I don’t speak with others. I glanced at Ares who nodded, he wanted to agree to this. Ares knows better when it cos to this so I agreed.
I won’t be the person to do this, I will spending Ares in my place. I know he will able to take care of everything.
The eting was annoyingly young, Beta Conrad was not here no surprise to that, I didn’t expect him too.
After the eting, I walk to her room. The guard informs she is already awake. She must be hungry.
She was seated on her bed when I walked in, she didn’t realize soone was here, she was too focused on her thoughts.
"Olivia." I say, she is brought out of her thoughts as she smiled and walks toward giving a hug.
I didn’t expect that, I instantly wrap my hand around her, she feels so warm against . I love holding her like this, I don’t want to let her go.
"You are fine, I was worried."Olivia whispered.
She was worried about , did she not know I was the one that caused the chaos.
"I am fine Olivia. I’m glad you are okay." I smiled.
"I am." She smiles, soon her smile fades.
"What is wrong?." I asked.
"Why did you attack them?." She asks.
I don’t want to answer to that, not yet. She can’t know my true identity she would hate . I want her to fall in love with before she knows.
"You shouldn’t ask questions you don’t answers to." I said.
"Believe , I want to know."
"Maybe another ti Olivia." I say but she is adamant. She wants to know why I attacked.
"Olivia." I warned but she didn’t listen, she continues to pester about it.
"Fucking hell Olivia, what is wrong with you? I said no," I have a tight grip on her hand.
"You are hurting Luca." She says, her eyes were filled with tears.
My hands remained on hers, I suddenly realize what I was doing. I let go of hand and a tear slips out of her eyes.
"I’m sorry." I whispered.
I try to touch her but she moves away, I walk into the bathroom to get a first aid kit, I get an ointnt for her hand.
"Olivia I’m sorry, I didn’t an to do this. Please let fix this." I beg. "Please Olivia." I say.
She allows to apply the ointnt on her hand, I can’t believe I hurt her.
I wiped her tears.
"Please leave." She says.
I didn’t try to to stop her from kicking out, I apologize one more ti before leaving, I ask the guard to get her food.
I need to stay away from her, I can’t keep hurting her. Last night I made her cry and today I made her cry. I’m am ant to take care of her better than that her bastard Mate. She deserves to be happy.
I get back into my room lighting up a cigarette, I need to calm down before Alexander cos out, it would be dreadful if he does.
I close my eyes and her face flashes through my head. She had a smile on her face. She looked like an angel. She looked perfect in her sundress with her hair up, the way she smiles all the ti gave a hope in life.
"I will fix this Olivia." I whisper. "I will make you fall in love with ."
"What did you do?." Ares asked. He could sense tension coming from , and given that Olivia has not co down for lunch he knew it had sothing to do with her, a part of didn’t want to tell him what I did? I know he won’t approve to that, he won’t be happy about it neither was I.
"I ssed up." I gritted through my teeth.
"You let your anger get the best of you." Ares replied, he knew about my anger and how badly I handled it, it was one of the traits I got from my father which I wish I didn’t. I tried to hurt Olivia because of my temper, I was just trying to keep things from here to protect her, I know she won’t be able to take it.
"I’m going to fix this, I will get her to forgive ." I whispered.
"You will have to if you want this to work. I don’t have to ask what you did. I have spent ti with Olivia, she has a good heart. I know she will forgive you." He said and I smiled.
I know a way she would forgive and Ares would help .
