Aria left last night. Against every odd we forced her, even when she tried to fake a sickness, it didn’t matter to , maybe she doesn’t realize it, but this is for her safety and this is not even about how she is always ddling in my affairs with Luca, I guess it’s just an addition to wanting her to leave.
After a horrible night, I had thought we would wake up to a better morning yet we didn’t, I found Luca in the living room with Ares beside him, Ares had sothing between his fingers.
"What’s going on Luca?" I whispered and he turned to look at and I ignored Ares who clearly didn’t want to know what was happening.
I am a part of this family as much as he is.
"We got an invitation," Luca spoke
"A party." I asked
"No a family dinner, he wants us to co." Luca breathed out, I stared at the invitation that he held perfectly, Patrick wants us to co.
I never t anyone from Luca’s family before, I didn’t even think they were here in the city.
"Are we going?" I whispered.
"If I don’t, he will think I am scared, he had always hated and wanted to prove that I am a kid that can’t control myself and I will lead the pack to doom, but this, he knows what he has done; he knows I know he has has been stalking you, he knows that you have seen him."
"He has no idea we know about Nathalie, it may not look or sound like sothing great but it is, that’s our advantage, I can even get in touch with her, just because I left, it doesn’t an we are not friends right?" I whispered.
"She will set a trap for you."
"I will see it Luca, you would be beside to stop from doing anything stupid, and I know that I would not do anything stupid too, if I don’t text or call her. She will start to suspect, I an the reason I left is because I want to be with you and I am mad at her because she didn’t care that Sebastine was basically treating like a show dog, but what type of friend will I be if I don’t forgive her for the little thing she has done, a little fake friendship would be of help, she may not tell anything, I know she won’t but maybe I can find sothing on her phone, you are already taking a risk for us Luca, I want to do the sa." I breathed out.
I had to. She can’t hurt even if she wanted to, I would not let her, she would not win, and even I know that.
"We can feed her whatever Patrick wants to hear. I am sure that’s why he wanted us to be friends so I can trust her but we just have to be very careful so she would not figure it out and as for Sebastine, I am sure we will find out soon." I whispered.
"Fuck." Luca cursed against his lips, he glanced at the place with anger written all over his eyes, he didn’t want but I made up my mind, I am going to.
"We do it my way and I am not going to have any argunts about it." He stated and I smiled, all I need to do is text her, "the dinner is tonight, and as much as I hate it, you are coming with , I don’t want him thinking I am hiding you, I am the Alpha, I am not scared of anyone and tonight I have the right to take him into custody because of what he did to my grandmother years ago, it’s still my city." He explained and I nodded.
"I think he already has a solution for that, he will not propose dinner knowing that he would be killed or punished for what happened years ago, I know that he already has a few things he would have to say during the dinner, and maybe prove that he didn’t kill her."
"I guess we have to wait and find out," Luca said and I nodded.
We just have to wait and find out, I think we would be able to, and whatever he has in mind. We are with each other, I will be there to make sure that Luca calms down and he is not going to make any mistakes because I am sure that his uncle would want him to make mistakes, he would want him to suffer and he would want him to prove his point.

The rest of the day, all Luca did was plan, strategize, make up plans and back up plans and his n knew what to do, to be on stand by, he would listen to what his uncle has to say and if it’s not good, he would be detained, he wanted to know who else got the invitation and who else would be honor it.
If they did honor it, it ant they cared for Patrick they knew sothing that he didn’t know.
An hour to the party, he had a dress sent up to my room, beautiful and elegant, it felt like it is owned by a princess, I had a smile on my face by the ti I got ready, he got matching earrings and heels to go with it and by the ti I was done, I did sothing I didn’t think I would.
I swiped the table knife and I kept it inside my purse, I just wanted to be sure that I would be able to help as much as I hated violence, this is for Luca.

"How many relatives do you have?" I whispered, "How many of them are in the city?" I asked again and Luca turned to look at
"A few but this ti not all of them are coming, I am sure he invited the ones that hate and he would be surprised that you ca with , I am sure he will be glad." Luca stated, "It doesn’t matter, my father’s family is not my family, the only relationship we share is the one that I am forced to protect them because they have my surna and we share the sa blood." He stated
"You never see or talk to them," I asked and he shook his head. Luca didn’t seem like soone who would want to have any relationship or even conversation with anyone else, I didn’t think he would even want to have anyone of them in his house
"What you need to know is that, they are predators and even my father didn’t like them, he always kept his distance and I always thought it was because he was a horrible man but it’s because they are not good people either, they wanted my mom in ways you can’t imagine, they share."
"You an their wives," I whispered so low like it was son for Ben to say it and Luca nodded.
That’s horrible, how could they do sothing like that, How would the wives even feel if sothing like that were to happen?
"My uncle Jamie would be there, he has no respect for won and the last ti I see him, I threatened I would have him dead if I ever see him again and he knows how to get on my nerves, he will say things to you and I need you to stand tor yourself, I am going to be there for you, no one can hurt you even if they want to, you speak your mind freely."
"I will Luca," I whispered, I hated n like his uncle. He endured so much of my father who didn’t care for my mom, at least he is better, he did have so love and respect for Rebecca and even Aria.
"And my cousin Harris, he backs up Jamie no matter what happens because of the fact that Jamie’s youngest son could be his too and they have no idea, Harris is young, and Jamie is older, you would be disgusted to even think about it." He said and my face twisted in disgust.
Even the thought of it made feel like vomiting. I didn’t even want to think about it.
I glanced at Luca as he held my hand and he continued to tell about the rest of his family, they are horrible people, who shared a of, who even shared a kid and they don’t even want to know who the father truly is, I can imagine how traumatizing it’s going to be for the baby boy.
As we got to the front of the house. We stayed in our car for a few minutes, Luca needed it more than because he couldn’t kill them.
