"Do you like , Sebastien?" I asked
"Did Natalie say sothing?" He chuckled, and I didn’t smile, I don’t like him, maybe as a friend, I loved him as a friend because he reminded of the desire to always want to have an older brother, I felt like if I did, he would have protected from Aria and Rebecca.
"Please you don’t have to make it awkward, it’s just, this is all and not you, and I understand if you don’t feel the sa too."

"Yes, he is not just my ex-boyfriend, he is my mate, we never rejected each other." I breathed out and his eyes widened, I never told Natalie too.
I guess she thought, I dated him and we broke up just like her and her boyfriend which in that case ans, I am still out there looking for a mate just like her.

"You don’t have to say that over and over again." I breathed out. "Did you ever have a mate, did you ever reject soone?" I whispered and he nodded.
"I didn’t want to be with her, I guess when I found a mate was younger, seventeen when I t her and I didn’t think it was right. My parents wanted to, my family thought the earlier the better because we can grow with each other but I didn’t want to. The way I see it. She didn’t deserve to be with soone who could not love her or care for her, she didn’t deserve to waste her life on when she could find soone better."

"Better weak than having to ruin soone’s life." He said and I smiled, I wish Conrad did the sa too, I wish he had rejected then all of this would not have even happened.
I would have been better off without him, maybe I would have been there for mom in her last days and maybe under better circumstances I would have t Luca and maybe if he told the truth, I would not care and I would still have fallen for his charm but this ti, all honesty and no lies.

"You moved away and started a new life, and now you are at dinner with another man even if it’s as friends and all you can do is glance around to make sure he is not here watching this because you are worried if he is, he would not like it, yet you want to be here," Sebastien asked. "Do you think you are being wronged by coming to dinner with ?" He asked
"No, it’s just dinner, it’s not a big deal."
"Then why are you scared, From where I see it, this is toxic, I have not t him for a long ti but all I can think about is how toxic and horrible the situation is for you. You can’t live the rest of your life in fear." He spoke when my eyes t his; he placed his hand above mine on the table and he smiled at . "I care about you and all I want is for you to be happy even if it’s not with , what I know is that, I want you to live a life where you don’t have to worry about anything or anyone, your ex boyfriend is toxic and you can see it too, you are too scared to admit it, but if you leave, you are taking charge, if you let your wolf choose, you are taking control of who you are and what you should be." He said and I stared at him.
My eyes gently and warmly averted away from his, his voice still echoing in my mind when I looked again.
"Don’t you want to be happy?" He asked and I nodded, it sounded a bit toxic, the way he spoke, like he wanted to manipulate , and his choice of words, it’s a good thing I have been in a relationship with the most manipulative man anyone could ever et and that is my ex-husband.

"You don’t even know how our relationship was, I could have been the toxic one, he moved all across another state, leaving everything behind just so that he could be here with ." I breathed out.
"He ca after you asked him not you, to make you co back to the sa place you ran away form, I don’t need to know the details, the fact that you left is enough and I know right now you have conflicted feelings and that’s why you have and Natalie to help you because I would be damned if I let you go back to him, you deserve much better than that and would you like it if Natalie would go back to the ex that made her cry." He asked and I shook my head.
"I would not." I breathed out. "She deserves better," I said and he smiled
"And it’s not bad for you to want that either." Sebastian smiled and I pulled my hand away, I was about to speak when I got my skin tingling, my breath hitches and I realized he was near .
I glanced around, averting my eyes away from Sebastian when I saw him, and Luca walking into the room.
"You know what to do?" Sebastine added and I stared at him.
"What- tell him what we discussed, you don’t want to be with him and you want to reject him." He said cutting off and I stared at him like I had seen a ghost.
What is wrong with him? Why would he even say sothing like that?.

"Enjoying dinner." Luca smiled, not even sparing a glance at Sebastine.
"What are you doing here? This is a private area." I asked.
"It’s not, it’s a public property, the roof belongs to ever person living in this building and I can be here for as long as I want, worried I would be here to watch you flirt with him," Luca asked, he is not being himself, he is being too calm and I have no idea if I liked that.
What did he do to my Luca? What happened to all the anger inside of him, he seed not okay under all this pretense.
"I think we need so privacy," Sebastine stated.
"Seb don’t." I breathed out, he has no idea what he is doing, he has not hurt anyone and Sebastine keeps trying to make him even madder, I can’t handle anyone dying at the mont.
"Don’t worry princess, I would not have him killed, if he is alive, it’s because I want him to be, right now he thinks he can get you to do whatever he wants, co on tell what you told her, how you want her to reject ."
"She will," Sebastian spoke with certainty and I stared at him, for he even heard what he had just said.
"I won’t." I breathed out. "It doesn’t an anything and you can wipe that smile off your face, can you leave please?" I breathed out and he stared at , waiting for to beg again.
Sebastien glanced at him when he placed his hand on his and my breath hitches.
"I have dealt with different wolves like this, they always think that they are the best and they know everything because they have a bit of money but you don’t, this building is mine and I can make you leave, on second thought, I want you out of it before I bring people to throw you out," Sebastien stated
"Please don’t." I breathed out, this is why I left, the violence and threats He just challenged Luca, he did have a lot of money but not as much as Luca’s, and his power is not as much as Luca’s either.
"Enjoy the dinner, but she is spending the night at my place." Luca smiled without regard to any of his words before he walked away.
