My eyes never left the clock as I continued to stare at it, I could not hear any sounds anymore, Luca tried a few tis to get to open the door but right now, I think he gave up, he won’t be here by the ti I wake up.
I quickly headed out of my room, the hallways dark and long, it caused a wave of shiver run down my spine, my heart ached for a mont when I looked toward the direction of his room.
If he catches , it’s going o be the end for ; he is never going to forgive , I am even more worried he will hurt , I am scared of him.
I didn’t want to take any clothes with , just a few jewelry stashed inside my pocket so I would be able to find a way out of this city.
By the ti I got to the front door, I didn’t dare open it, the sound found echo through the room, I tip tir through the kitchen and I got out from the kitchen door, I never felt like this before, the way my heart would beat against my chest, the way my breath shortened with ti and the way I could only think about the fact that, I can get caught, I am never good at this, I have never been.
"God I would kill for so sleep." I heard a voice when I hid behind the trees in the garden, I watched as two n walked past , I had hoped they won’t get a whiff of my scent and I had hoped Luca is long asleep or Ares too.
"Nap for an hour, I will wake you up when it’s ti." He spoke and the other man nodded, by the ti they disappeared, I didn’t see anyone in sight.
If I do this, I need to find a way to hide when I hear a voice but there isn’t no way, not even if I tried, the more I glanced across the area, the more I realized from here to the gate, I can’t find a place to hid and I can’t jump the fences, it’s longer and even if I tried I would not be able to do it.
"Focus on your breath Liv, you can do it, just run out, run out, and get the fuck out of here." I whispered against my breath, I held on to my necklace one more ti, unable to think of what is the right thing to do.
The feeling of getting caught filled my body, yet it felt like, this is just trying to sabotage myself, it felt like this is just trying to make sure I don’t leave, but I have to, I can’t always be scared.
I thought about turning first before running, but that didn’t seem like a good idea, my humans legs are of better use than my wolf legs, she didn’t do that, and not only that, if they hurt her, it would hurt even more, it would affect even more.
I took a breath in and I took off my shoes before I raced toward the front gate, when I got there, there was no one, which felt unusual. It didn’t feel right.
Is this all a trap, is Luca watching form his window, can he tell what’s going on or is Ares hiding sowhere here, waiting for to reach the gate so he can drag back inside, every part of this, it didn’t feel like I should go a head with it.
Yet I didn’t listen, I reached toward the gate when I heard a pair of footsteps heading toward so I hid beside the gate post, I could hear voices and laughter, it sounded like the sa man and another unfamiliar man, I didn’t understand what they were saying but if they know I am here, Luca is going to know, ares would do too and I would even be in more larger prison than the one I am at the mont.
"Wait." I finally heard what the other man said, he must have whispered the words because I didn’t get a single sentence of what he ntioned.
If happened so fast when soone pulled away from the building.
"Look who we have here." I heard a man say, my eyes flickered open, and a tear slipped out of my eyes, I could feel my heart beating against my chest, my arms bruised from the way I fell down.
"Stanley don’t-" one of the other guard spoke. "The alpha would not like it, just go get him." He warned
I didn’t want then to get him, he is not going to like what I did, he would be mad at , he would yell and make realise just how stupid I am for trying to leave.
"Go get him." Stanley spoke when the other guy headed inside, the man called Stanley stared at like he wanted dead, when he crouched down, he placed his hand against my face.
"What is it about you that he likes so much?." He asked, "I can see you are beautiful, but why would the Alpha go through so much because of you." He spoke again and I didn’t dare say a word.
He leaned in toward and he sniffed , I felt a wave of disgust wash over , my eyes flickered with tears when he stared at again, I didn’t like the way he behaved or sounded.
"I am bleeding." I whispered and he smirked.
"I know," he said again sniffing , he wanted to see if I was marked, not anymore, I got rejected and Luca has not marked yet.
When he pulled away from , he didn’t say a word instead he dragged up roughly with one hand, and he whispered the words that scared .
