Several puppets erged from the dark corners. One of the humanoid puppets, controlled by Mon, quickly shifted its appearance to match the patrolman from earlier and sprinted toward the council hall.

Mon knew that any Uchiha with a Sharingan could easily see through this level of disguise. However, he was gambling on the fact that the target, being in his own ho, wouldn't be overly guarded against a "familiar" subordinate.

As a veteran of assassination, Mon knew that sotis the simplest plans were the most effective. He believed today would be no exception.

Soon, the disguised puppet knocked on the door of the council hall. Through its vision, Mon clearly saw the target sitting in a chair, head down, reading a file.

When he saw Kyosuke's familiar face, Mon's eyes widened slightly behind his controls. The man in the puppet's view was the sa enemy he had fought in that small town.

So that's it. He is Kyosuke Uchiha. It makes sense... only he could train such outstanding Uchiha youths. I should have realized this sooner.

Mon ntally chided himself but quickly focused all his attention on controlling the puppet. Regret was useless now; since they were here, they would not let the target escape again.

Hearing the panicked voice of his "subordinate," Kyosuke looked up, giving him a strange look before returning his gaze to the docunts on his desk.

"What is it? Why are you in such a panic?"

The puppet maintained its flustered act while slowly inching closer to Kyosuke. It spilled the lie they had prepared. "It's... we just received intelligence. The Cloud Village delegation seems to be plotting sothing in secret. Right now, they are preparing to..."

"Preparing to do what? Speak clearly, don't stutter," Kyosuke scolded without looking up.

"They are..."

The puppet took another step forward. Suddenly, a beam of light erupted from the "core" in its chest, piercing straight through Kyosuke's body.

This was a chanism utilizing the puppet core's ability to store chakra, allowing for a lethal surprise attack without any warning signs.

Simultaneously, the mont the laser pierced Kyosuke, two figures crashed through the window.

"Byakugan: Coercion!"

An invisible Eight Trigrams field expanded. The woman used her Byakugan's ability to lock Kyosuke's body in place, cutting off his connection to space-ti ninjutsu. Then, unleashing her full power, she thrust a finger toward his lethal pressure point.

The other man, eyes flashing with crimson light, activated his Mangekyo Sharingan. The special ability in his left eye—Blood Manipulation—erupted, further deepening the control over Kyosuke's body.

At the sa ti, a pale red skeletal arm materialized, punching toward the immobilized Kyosuke. The fist arrived almost simultaneously with the woman's strike.

Faced with such a ticulously planned and diverse assault, even with Kyosuke's current strength, taking these hits head-on would an certain death... assuming, of course, that they had actually hit Kyosuke.

BOOM!

After the loud crash, Mon and his two companions stared wide-eyed at the wooden splinters scattering through the air.

"This is... a Wood Clone?!"

The three realized instantly that only a highly realistic Wood Clone could have deceived all of them at once.

It dawned on them that today, they were not hunters lying in wait, but lambs who had stepped into a trap.

"Retreat! Fall back imdiately!"

The man with the Mangekyo shouted, preparing to cover their escape. But before they could move, the tip of a sword suddenly erupted from the woman's chest.

"NO!!!" the man roared in anguish.

Kyosuke, having used the Flying Thunder God to deliver a fatal blow to the woman, was about to speak when the woman spat a mouthful of blood. The blood, manipulated by the man's ability, ford into sharp spikes and shot toward Kyosuke like arrows.

Kyosuke had no choice but to teleport outside the room, temporarily halting his assault on the enemies.

However, having prepared for this mont, did he intend to let them go so easily? The answer was obvious: No.

Seeing that he had forced Kyosuke back with the blood manipulation, the male assassin controlled his Susanoo arm, attempting to pull the dying woman into his embrace.

But a flash of golden light suddenly appeared before his eyes.

It was Minato Namikaze, who had been lying in ambush for a long ti.

Using the Flying Thunder God to intercept the rescue attempt, Minato slamd a powerful Rasengan into the man, sending him flying backward violently.

Before the man could even fly out of the council hall, the golden light flashed again in mid-air. Minato appeared instantly in the man's trajectory, treating him like a volleyball as he smashed him with another Rasengan.

"Damn it! Damn it all!!"

The man roared in helpless fury. But neither his flailing Susanoo arms nor his blood control ability could touch the golden light.

The reason was simple: the Yellow Flash was too fast.

The speed was far beyond the man's reflex limits. Every ti he tried to activate an ability to counterattack, the golden light would strike him again, sending him flying in a different direction.

How can anyone possess such terrifying reflexes?!

As the Susanoo armor peeled away layer by layer, the man left this final thought in his mind before completely losing consciousness.

The man, who had previously been dismissive of the "Yellow Flash" renowned throughout the ninja world, had finally experienced firsthand what that title truly ant.

Seeing that the enemy had completely lost the ability to resist, Minato finally stopped moving. The golden light that filled the room slowly faded away.

To beat a Mangekyo user capable of using Stage Three Susanoo into unconsciousness through sheer physical speed... Minato's performance genuinely surprised Kyosuke.

Watching Minato walk out of the council hall dragging the unconscious enemy, Kyosuke asked curiously, "How did you do that just now?"

Minato knew what he was asking. He glanced at the last remaining enemy—Mon—and smiled as he explained. "That was the third stage application of the Flying Thunder God: The Space-Ti Barrier."

"Space-Ti Barrier?" Kyosuke pressed, intrigued.

"That's right," Minato explained without reservation. "After activating the Space-Ti Barrier, I can move freely to any coordinate within the space covered by the barrier. You can think of the barrier itself as one gigantic Flying Thunder God marker."

"Oh," Kyosuke nodded, realization dawning on him. "I see."
