Just as Kyosuke was preparing to head back, another small snake transmitted a piece of intelligence to him.

This intelligence was even more surprising.

"Hey, how long do we have to wait?" a boy with orange hair shouted in a room.

From the looks of it, he was getting a bit impatient.

Beside him sat a beautiful girl with long blue hair and a silent boy with long red hair.

Seeing her companion's impatience, the blue-haired girl exchanged a look with the other boy, and they both smiled helplessly.

"Co on, Yahiko. You know that as the leader of the Village Hidden by Rain, Lord Hanzo must be very busy. You shouldn't be so anxious."

"That's right, Konan is right."

The boy nad Yahiko glanced at the two of them and muttered, "Nagato, you're always taking Konan's side."

Hearing this, the red-haired boy looked flustered and wanted to explain, but he didn't know what to say.

Just then, the girl nad Konan gently pulled him and said with a smile, "Co on, Nagato. Yahiko is just joking."

Seeing that his childhood friend had taken it seriously, Yahiko also quickly explained himself.

Suddenly, Nagato's previously embarrassed expression changed, and he turned to look at the door.

Then, he suddenly reached out his hand toward it.

"Universal Pull."

The closed door was opened by a powerful gravitational force, and then a small green snake was sucked into his hand.

"A snake?"

Nagato held it firmly in his hand with his chakra, a puzzled look on his face.

"Hey, Nagato, you're being too sensitive. It's just a small snake," Yahiko said. At first, he thought sothing had happened, but when he saw the small snake in Nagato's hand, he couldn't help but mutter with a sense of helplessness.

"No, this isn't an ordinary small snake. It's a summoned beast. It was just monitoring us," Nagato said, staring at it.

Hearing his explanation, Yahiko and Konan finally understood. But Konan asked with a puzzled expression, "Could it be Lord Hanzo... probably not. Snakes are still very rare in the Land of Rain."

"So that ans the master of this summoned beast is not a ninja from our Land of Rain?" Yahiko added.

"We'll see."

The mont Nagato's words fell, he used the power of his Rinnegan to invade the poor little snake's body.

"Human Path: Mind Reading."

Just then, the small snake vanished with a poof.

Seeing this, Yahiko and Konan imdiately asked him if he had found out whose summoned beast it was.

"Ryuchi Cave, a ninja wearing a mask, not far from here in a corridor," Nagato said.

"What's his purpose?" Yahiko asked.

Nagato silently shook his head, indicating that the ti had been too short and he hadn't been able to find out.

Perhaps because he was still too young, Nagato was not yet very proficient in the application of the Rinnegan. If it had been the him who had invaded Konoha, he probably would have known everything the small snake had experienced from its birth to the present in an instant.

Seeing that they still hadn't found anything, Yahiko and the others, after a brief discussion, could only choose to continue waiting. After all, this was not their territory, and the three of them couldn't be too presumptuous. Not to ntion, they had co here to ask Hanzo for a favor, so in the end, they could only choose to keep the peace.

"Whew... that was a close call," Kyosuke said, hiding in a nearby corridor, a sense of relief in his heart.

A mont of curiosity had almost led to a disaster. If he hadn't dispelled the summoning jutsu in ti, his identity would have been exposed. After all, the power of the Rinnegan was not to be underestimated.

After waiting for a while and finding that there was no sound from Nagato and the others' room, Kyosuke slowly walked back.

At the sa ti, he was secretly guessing the purpose of Nagato and the others' visit.

Through the eyes of the small snake, Kyosuke had seen the black and red cloaks they were wearing, which proved that the Akatsuki had already been successfully established at this ti.

From this, Kyosuke could deduce that they had co here to seek the support of Hanzo of the Salamander. After all, the dream they were pursuing had to be realized in the Land of Rain, so Hanzo was an obstacle they could not bypass.

Having understood this, Kyosuke did not intend to investigate further.

Just like Nagato and the others' concerns, this was not the Village Hidden by Leaves, after all. Kyosuke really couldn't cause any trouble. Not to ntion, Kyosuke was sure that there was a White Zetsu monitoring Nagato nearby. In that case, his concerns were even greater.

"Forget it. I'll just pretend I never saw the three of them."

After returning to the room where his group was, taking advantage of Hanzo's inattention, Kyosuke quickly went forward and whispered the intelligence about the Sand ninja he had just seen to Danzo.

Danzo thought for a mont after hearing this, then nodded slightly, indicating that he understood.

Seeing this, Kyosuke slowly retreated to the doorway and, along with Rei, stood guard.

Just then, Hanzo took out a stack of docunts from a drawer and placed them in front of Danzo.

"Many things were inconvenient to say in the previous letter. Now you can take a closer look at my conditions," Hanzo said in a flat tone.

"" Hearing this, Danzo picked up the docunts and began to read them carefully, saying nothing for a long ti.

Suddenly, Danzo brought up a matter. "Have the Sand ninja been to see you?"

"Of course they have. The people they sent to negotiate are waiting in a room not far from here," Hanzo said, surprisingly, without hiding anything.

"I see," Danzo said, nodding, and said nothing more.

After another mont of silence, Danzo asked again, "If we can agree to your conditions, what can you do?"

"I'll do my best," Hanzo said, still in a flat tone.

"Very good." Hearing his words, Danzo directly signed his na on the docunts.

This also ant that the Village Hidden by Rain would be on Konoha's side in this war.

Of course, this was just a formality. The real exchange of interests and the ga between them had actually been going on in secret for a long ti.

Kyosuke was not curious about this. He just needed to confirm that the Rain would participate in the war, and that was enough. The rest was not his concern. Even if Konoha had to pay a lot for this, it wouldn't be coming out of his pocket, so why bother thinking about it?

Next, the two conspirators talked for a while longer, and then the eting was over.

Just as Kyosuke and the others were preparing to leave, an unexpected voice suddenly interrupted them.

"Lord Hanzo, please wait a mont."
