"What do we do?" Saori asked, her face grim as she stared at the approaching enemy.
Kyosuke frowned, watching the four figures rushing toward them. The power of the ninjutsu he had just witnessed told him that the enemy was even more formidable than he had imagined.
"Weren't there supposed to be seven of them? Where are the other three?" Kyosuke asked Saori without turning his head, his senses on high alert.
"They're behind. They'll be here in three minutes," Saori replied quickly.
So, the remaining three might not be jounin?!
The thought flashed through Kyosuke's mind, and his eyes narrowed. "Engage!"
The mont he gave the order, the four of them charged toward the enemy.
"Body Flicker Technique."
"Uchiha Style: Blazing Sword Leap."
A blade wreathed in dense flas, like a teor tearing through the night sky, traced a graceful arc before hurtling toward one of the Sand ninja.
Facing a jounin-level opponent, Kyosuke had unleashed his strongest sword technique from the very beginning.
At the sa ti, Hyuga Saori closed in on another enemy, her finger aid at a vital point on his chest.
If it had been anyone else, even a slightly weaker jounin, they would have likely been at a disadvantage against the full-power assault of these two. But these four jounin had been entrusted with guarding a strategic armory; their strength was far beyond that of an ordinary jounin. The leader, in particular, was an elite jounin. Unless a Kage-level powerhouse intervened, no one could take him down quickly.

Kyosuke, who was not far away, witnessed this scene. He gritted his teeth and continued his assault on the Sand ninja he suspected was a sensory type.
In Kyosuke's original plan, this single sword strike, even if it couldn't kill the Sand ninja outright, should have at least inflicted so damage. But to his frustration, this sensory ninja was even more skilled than he had imagined.
With that, his plan to quickly take down one enemy and then use their nurical advantage to overwhelm the others had failed.

Seeing another comrade in danger, the elite jounin gave up on the nearly defeated Saori and turned to provide support.
At this, a triumphant smile touched Kyosuke's lips.
"I was hoping you'd try to save him."
