'I guess she's a Goddess for a reason...' Kai pondered as he narrowed his eyes grudgingly.
He wasn't angry at the goddess, not her powers either, but over his mories that brought him pain.
"That's true, although I've wanted to et you for quite so ti now." Aesria continued as she read Kai's thoughts like an open book.
"And... Why's that?" Kai questioned her almost imdiately, thinking she was trying to do the sa as the goddess of intelligence.
He slowly began to retreat from his grounds, going backwards at a very slow pace.
No doubt, he was taking all the precautions he possibly could.
However, in the domain of a god, his actions were nothing more than a futile attempt at a joke.
Suddenly, his vision changed as he found himself sitting on a wooden chair within the pavilion—the sphere hovering at a re arm's distance.

[Passive Skill - 'Enhanced Senses' is resisting the Illusions and Sensory Distortions!]
[Passive Skill - 'Unshakable Resolve' is resisting Divine Pressure, ntal Control, and Soul Intimidation!]
[Passive Skill - 'Tranquil Mind' is resisting ntal attacks and Status effect - Fear!]
---
One after another, countless System windows—bearing the bright crimson hue—materialized in front of Kai, while he was trying to gather his thoughts.
His passive skills had been automatically activated and at this mont, they were all resisting constant attacks—presumably launched by the goddess herself.
Kai knew that being with her was not safe for him, and yet, he couldn't move even a single finger.
He wanted to get away from her as fast as possible, however, sothing was holding him back.
A sense of danger that lood around him, threatening to exhaust his life in an instant if he had moved even in the slightest.
In that mont, despite having his passive skill's resistance, Kai was montarily put under the effects of 'Fear'.
However cool his skills may be, even he realized that they were not useful against the brute strength of those called divinities.
"Do not fret, for I do not wish to hurt you. I just want to appease my curiosity." Her voice rang in his head sharply, causing him to let out a short, painful groan.
The sphere slowly began to move towards Kai, while all he could see was a materializing hand coming towards him, or precisely, his face.

[The System strictly prohibits you from trying to pry into Player Kai Evernox's mind.]
---
A system window erged right in front of the hand, trying to diate into the matter and solve things as it is, however, that didn't stop Aesria at all.
Her hand gradually reached the dystem window and broke through it as the system window snapped into two.
Then, her fingers stretched across his face as she firmly held onto his face with her hand.
For a second, Kai felt as though soone or sothing was piercing through his head, his skull, and his mind all at once, peering into his thoughts and all that he had seen in his life—his mories.
Next instant, she slowly withdrew her hand, as all the pressure that had fallen onto Kai's shoulders disappeared.
His mind felt at ease, and his body slowly started to recover.
"Strange." She muttered as the sphere slowly hovered back to its original state.
Kai was naturally intrigued by her words as he, himself bore questions whose answers were far from his reach.
"Seems like soone has tampered with quite a long part of your mories."
"What... What do you an?!" Hearing her words, Kai without a doubt, was left stunned.
"It is exactly what I said. Soone has altered the mories of your childhood, leaving a part of your mind in chaos." She let out a deep sigh before continuing, "Although, that was a big let down. I was expecting sothing more since I felt a strange energy oozing off of you in the second Trial."
Although her words brought nothing but shock to Kai, he slightly flinched upon realizing that she had sensed the presence of the entity he had t on his second trial.
However, he couldn't let go of her first words completely either.
She sounded absurd, however, there was no benefit for her to lie about such a thing to Kai.
Before he could ask any further, the System decided to intervene.

[For ignoring the System's authority and warnings, forcefully abducting Player Kai Evernox into your domain, and obstructing the path of Trials, The Goddess of Soul, Aesria, is bound to compensate Player Kai Evernox appropriately.]
[The compensation shall be decided by Kai Evernox and must be fulfilled by the Goddess of Soul.]
---
A giant System window materialized at the centre of the table, its texts visible to both Aesria and Kai.
Upon reading the screen, Aesria fell silent while Kai wondered to choose the compensation while thinking - 'So her na's Aesria...'
"Alright then," within seconds, Kai was ready to project his wishes in front of an entity holding the title of a goddess.
"I want you to answer 3 of my questions truthfully; however, in case you cannot answer my question due to restrictions, you must compensate for that with a good item." He said calmly as his composure had beco normal.
"Very well."
"First question, what is 'Seventh Calamity'?"
His voice was loud and clear, but Aesria didn't speak a word. Several monts passed by, and Kai realized that she had chosen silence over her answer. His eyes narrowed, and his face grew slightly grim.
"Second, tell about the man called 'Lukas'..." He moved on to the next question as he realized that she had already chosen her answer.
However, this ti as well, she chose silence. This made Kai clench his teeth as his expression worsened.
It was at that point that he could hide his discontent any longer. He had lost two of the most crucial parts of information and only a single question remained.
He had no idea what restrictions were placed on her; thus, there was no telling how much she could answer.
After pondering over his last attempt for several monts, Kai broke the silence and threw his last questions towards her.
"What's the deal with the Trials?"
Although this ti, Aesria chose what Kai wanted the most and willingly answered his question to the fullest.
