Chapter 906: Chapter 6: Yielding Authority (Extended Chapter)

The Star Domain where the Skull Star is located is an independent star region. This space in the universe is filled with gigantic rocks, extrely large in size, resembling deathly planets, exuding a deadly aura.

At this mont, the fleet is navigating through these Death Stars using a special route.

“Detected a strong Energy Storm outside,” the Zhi Zi system alerted in the Chiyou command room.

The carrier glanced ahead. For those with a fear of crowds, the sight would indeed be terrifying. Huge deathly star bodies floating in the void, countless in number.

In the universe, there are countless planets, among which, only a very few are suitable for life. Life Stars under the Empire’s rule are actually a very small portion.

Inside the Chiyou Battleship, Chris was there. Xu Mo invited him aboard the Chiyou Warship, partially to ask so questions and also for safety, as he couldn’t guarantee that following Chris’s warship wouldn’t an getting backstabbed.

“We have entered the Skull Star Domain,” Chris glanced outside and imdiately recognized the unique geological shape of the Skull Star Domain, a shape with high recognition, recognizable at a glance.

“What’s going on with the energy storms around us?” Xu Mo asked.

“Caused by the Death Stars,” Chris replied, “The energy released by the Death Stars has existed for many years, and the planets here continue to die. It’s speculated that in a few thousand years, this Star Domain will beco extinct, no longer suitable for habitation. Many years ago, the life surviving in this Star Domain wasn’t human but another species. Later, humans occupied it. We also acquired the route by chance. If one enters recklessly, they are likely to enter a dead zone. Here, the role of detectors is limited.”

“Having such a region as a base is indeed suitable for developnt,” Xu Mo said. As for the extinction of this Star Domain after thousands of years, it’s not like they’ll be reproducing here, so why think about matters thousands of years later? They will have migrated already. This place is not very suitable for habitation, and it’s foreseeable that the survival environnt on Skull Star must be relatively harsh.

However, if the Blue Star Energy Technology Group were to establish a base in this universe, the Skull Star Domain seems like a very suitable place. This is one of the reasons Xu Mo wanted to visit and explore the path.

“Let’s just say it’s more suitable for interstellar thieves; it’s a natural hiding place. As for developnt, the environnt in this Star Domain is harsh, and no one is willing to co here. Without people, there is no developnt, technology cannot advance, and developnt is still limited,” Chris said, “To develop, you still need to communicate with the outside world and possess advanced technology.”

Xu Mo nodded. This Star Domain is closed off and isolated from the outside world, making it difficult to develop naturally unless they have powerful technology onboard.

“We can consider cooperation,” Xu Mo said, and Chris looked at Xu Mo with so surprise. Cooperation?

Beside them, Lan Qing also looked at Xu Mo. Xu Mo claid to co from an unknown distant planet, yet now wanted to cooperate with interstellar thieves, and he had an Advanced Battleship. Clearly, Xu Mo is not as simple as he seems.

There was a mysterious aura about Xu Mo; the unknown always piques curiosity.

“I have a large team capable of building weapons, and we can cooperate to develop Skull Star,” Xu Mo said. “Chris, do you have Absolute Control on Skull Star?”

Chris’s expression froze slightly at Xu Mo’s question, Xu Mo’s deep gaze leaving nothing hidden in Chris’s expressions.

It seems Chris doesn’t have Absolute Control over Skull Star.

“To be honest, after my father was covertly hard by the Church, Skull Star is now a bit chaotic. This operation is sothing I decided privately, leading a force under my control to hunt the Church’s warships,” Chris said to Xu Mo, his blue eyes seeming a bit ashad.

Xu Mo stared at Chris. It seems both he and Chris have aligned motives.

Chris also wishes to leverage his strength.

“Need any help?” Xu Mo asked with a smile, seemingly indifferent.

Chris’s pupils narrowed slightly but quickly returned to normal, not expecting Xu Mo to be so agreeable.

“Chris, if you need help, then you need to thoroughly introduce the current situation of Skull Star without concealnt. Who holds the main power on Skull Star now, how much power there is, and individuals’ Combat Power – I need this detailed information,” Xu Mo continued.

Chris looked up at Xu Mo and then nodded.

“When my father was around, the Skull Army had three leaders. My father was the leader, assisted by Zack and Lincoln,” Chris said to Xu Mo, “After my father’s incident, I am the heir, but Zack is the actual person in power. After all, these past years, he and my father had been campaigning together, and many people followed him, wanting to support Zack to inherit the Skull Army.”

“Thus, there have been so internal disputes within Skull Star. Most people support Zack; a few support , and as for Lincoln, he mainly manages internal affairs and hasn’t openly supported anyone, simply focusing on his responsibilities.”

“Zack controls the majority of the Skull Army, and the fleet is in his hands. These days, I’ve continuously been marginalized. Zack’s intention is definitely to let fend for myself outside.”
