Chapter 810: Chapter 140: The Speech (Part 2)

In recent months, Byron Star has undergone reorganization, efficiently accomplishing many tasks.

The military integration made Byron Star’s governnt a sizable authority, ruling over the star.

By clearing out monsters, the airways between major cities have been opened, and now, with developed detection technology, Byron Star’s monsters can be more effectively eradicated.

The expansion of cities and the completion and operation of bases are underway.

The combined power of Byron Star is being used to rapidly develop and prepare for possible future wars.

“How are things on Lucas Star and the other planets?” asked Xu Mo to Ye Qingdie while walking, as they were neighbors with the Capital Royal Academy in Future City District, just a short walk away.

Ye Qingdie was in charge of liaison with Ross, monitoring the movents of each planet.

“All the bases on the major planets have been fully engaged in production, and their scales continue to expand. Besides Lucas Star, other planets support the policy, and outside demand for our company’s products is significant,” Ye Qingdie said. “Our production capacity still can’t keep up.”

The previous incident at the Star System Alliance Headquarters, where Xu Mo intervened against Nilo, further boosted the fa of Blue Star Energy Technology Group, and many planets now hope the group will build bases on their planets.

However, given the war background, Xu Mo and his team prefer not to expand recklessly, as any military destruction could lead to substantial losses.

Although current production can’t et demands, if the war prolongs, Blue Star Energy Technology Group could beco a giant in interstellar affairs.

The most consud resource in war is weaponry.

Besides governnts, civilians also feel insecure and seek powerful weapons for self-protection.

“Once Byron Star’s base is fully operational, there will be a massive increase in production, and then we’ll open all channels and distribute outward from Byron Star,” Xu Mo said.

There are limitations on other planets, but Byron Star is entirely their domain, with manpower input far beyond what other planets can offer. They plan to take a few years to not only build the base but also to establish a comprehensive industrial chain, upgrading the entire planet’s industry to beco the weapon supplier for this Star Domain.

In this way, Byron Star could beco a Super Base.

Xu Mo wondered if this could be considered an industrial revolution?

If his vision is realized, Byron Star could potentially beco the center of the Star System Alliance in the decades to co.

“Yes.” Ye Qingdie nodded, a hint of admiration in her eyes as she glanced at Xu Mo’s handso profile. She was equally full of anticipation for Xu Mo’s vision, wondering if Byron Star could one day reign over the Star System Alliance.

She wanted to witness Xu Mo standing on high ground.

As the people of the Capital Royal Academy gathered at the entrance, many showed excitent at Xu Mo’s arrival.

“So handso, even more so than on cara,” a girl gushed.

“I heard Xu Mo once charged through the Academy all the way in—is it true?”

“True, I was only in the first grade then and witnessed it myself.”

As Xu Mo looked at the youthful faces, he whispered to Ye Qingdie, “Sister Butterfly, why do I feel like I’m getting old?”

Wasn’t he just in his twenties?

“I suspect you’re hinting at ,” Ye Qingdie replied.

“I like older sisters, particularly elder sisters,” Xu Mo whispered.

“Go to hell!” Ye Qingdie cursed in a low voice, with the familiarity of a long relationship enabling her to pick up Xu Mo’s innuendos easily. The shaless rascal often spoke provocatively without warning.

Feeling strange about it, Ye Qingdie intentionally stepped on Xu Mo’s heel.

“I’ll deal with you when we get back,” Xu Mo threatened as his shoe nearly slipped off.

Up ahead, the senior officials of the Capital Royal Academy ca to greet them, shaking hands with Xu Mo.

Xu Mo was no longer just a prominent figure but the actual leader behind Byron Star, with even the president appointed by him.

Everyone understood who truly controlled Byron Star now.

“Mr. Xu Mo, it’s an honor to have you speak at the Capital Royal Academy,” the dean said, stepping forward to shake Xu Mo’s hand.

“Mr. Dean, you’re too kind. Years ago, I admired the Royal Academy but never had the opportunity to study here. Standing on the Royal Academy’s platform today is truly my honor,” Xu Mo replied smoothly, as though forgetting his past conflicts with the academy.

During that past competition, he caused the Capital Royal Academy to lose face.

Yet with Xu Mo’s current stature, recalling those events only seed like an interesting mory.

The group arrived at the central square of the Capital Royal Academy, where Xu Mo took to the stage, looked at the young faces below, and began: “I am Xu Mo.”

He was t with cheers and screams that gradually quieted down, as Xu Mo continued, “I apologize for bringing a crisis to Byron Star.”

His words left everyone in shock. Xu Mo brought a crisis to Byron Star?

“You didn’t mishear; it is indeed a crisis,” Xu Mo continued. “The discovery of the Deep Sea Battleship unearthed advanced technology. This technology enabled to create the Blue Star Energy Technology Group and turn Byron Star into a base, striving to develop technology on this soil. As a result, Byron Star is no longer overlooked. Instead, many eyes in the starry sky are upon us now.”

“Lancelot Star, Camp Star, and other powerful planets, along with the outbreak of interstellar warfare, all present lurking crises beneath a seemingly calm surface. Byron Star faces life and death situations.”

Xu Mo’s words rendered everyone silent, turning what they thought to be a speech on honor into one on crisis.

“Of course, although I apologize for this, I have never regretted my actions,” Xu Mo continued. “Byron Star has long faced a choice—to live on its knees or die standing. Years ago, under Conrad’s leadership, the Federation Governnt made a choice that brought years of humiliation to Byron Star. This ti, I have chosen a different path.”

“This path is treacherous and full of perils. Nevertheless, Byron Star stands firm this ti. I will exhaust every effort to develop Byron Star’s technological military power, making it strong. Now, Byron Star faces two possible outcos: it could beco cannon fodder in interstellar warfare, invaded and destroyed; or Byron Star could rise, becoming a super planet, unafraid of any other planet or power, owning our powerful technology and military force.”

“I selfishly chose an incredibly difficult path for Byron Star, but where this path ultimately leads depends not on alone but on all of you. You are Byron Star’s future, deciding its fate—whether it is destroyed or rises within the interstellar realm.”

Xu Mo looked at the silent faces and bowed to the crowd below: “Byron Star’s future is entrusted to all of you.”

Saying this, Xu Mo walked off the stage, leaving the area.

This speech, unlike what one might expect, wasn’t uplifting but still stirred passions.

The future of Byron Star will be determined by them.

As Xu Mo walked with the school’s high-ranking officials, he encountered a familiar face—Liu Feng’s teacher, the old gentleman he t years ago in Future City, who was a professor at the Capital Royal Academy.

“Elder,” Xu Mo greeted with a smile.

“Xu Mo, your speech wasn’t just for the students, but for all the people of Byron Star, wasn’t it?” the elderly man said with a smile. It was the best speech he’d ever heard.

Xu Mo did not deny it. Indeed, Byron Star was facing huge opportunities and crises, and he needed to mobilize everyone’s efforts. This speech was bound to spread, reaching all over Byron Star. He needed everyone to strive for the star rather than rely observe.

“Mr. Xu Mo, does the Federation Governnt or Blue Star Energy Technology Group need more people?” the elderly man asked.

“Of course.” Xu Mo nodded.

The elderly man smiled: “I think so of the elders at the Capital Royal Academy and the Academy Faction veterans of Byron Star might also be of so use.”

“Welco!” Xu Mo replied, extending his hand with a smile.
