Chapter 805: Chapter 138: Self-Defense (Part 2)

At this point, the major planets found themselves riding a tiger they could not dismount. Not signing the alliance treaty ant being deprived of the Star System Alliance’s military protection. If the Mandala United Kingdom attacked, they would have to either wait for death or surrender. If they surrendered, their fate would then be at the rcy of Mandala Star.

Furthermore, even if Mandala Star did not interfere with the ruling class, after this war ended, whoever claid victory might turn around to settle accounts.

“That’s it for today, let’s adjourn,” King Richard continued, and the representatives of the major planets all looked solemn.

Xu Mo sat quietly at the back, understanding that the seven permanent mber stars would utilize this war to firmly grasp all planets within the Star System Alliance. If this war ended in defeat, their outco would be the sa as surrendering—dead ends. But if victorious, their power would reach new heights.

The war hundreds of years ago was the backdrop for the establishnt of the Star System Alliance, and today, the upcoming war is both a crisis and an opportunity.

Xu Mo finally understood why he had been invited here. Recognizing Byron Star as a mber of the Star System Alliance naturally ant being bound by the treaty. He was still curious why King Richard would be so kind.

It seems he is still too young.

Unified command?

Byron Star does not accept unified command.

They only have seven warships in total, not even enough to be cannon fodder.

With Lucas Star at the helm, the permanent mber stars seem to be using this war to hold the entire Star System Alliance hostage. Desiring independence from external forces is incredibly risky.

The eting ended, and the crowd erupted into noise and discussion, all very worried about the impending war.

Many people flocked around the permanent mber stars, as there was no retreat at this stage. They could only forge good relations with the mber stars, hoping for protection and to avoid being cannon fodder.

The planets around the seven permanent mber stars would likely seek attachnt to them for protection.

Xu Mo stood up, Ye Huan and Ye Qingdie followed suit. The three walked towards the outside, and gradually, others also made their way out.

Behind him, Nilo stared at Xu Mo’s figure. Seeing Xu Mo leave, he also led his people straight out, chasing after him.

Representatives from planets such as Lancelot Star and Camp Star were keenly aware of this scene, and they all followed.

Sal saw this as well and got up to leave, and imdiately, people from various sides left their seats, heading outside. They all realized sothing might happen.

Outside the Star System Alliance Headquarters, a sea of people waited, with dia reporters standing by. Just earlier, Prince Hades of Mandala Star and his companions had co out. Shortly after, their fleet set sail and left Lucas Star, making everyone aware that negotiations had broken down and war was imminent.

Thus, seeing people co out, the dia rushed forward at the first chance.

“Mr. Xu Mo, can you comnt on the negotiation results with Mandala Star?” The dia reporters, naturally recognizing Xu Mo, hurriedly ca up to interview him.

Xu Mo didn’t respond and continued moving forward. Many Byron Star people ca to et him, and Xu Mo headed towards the crowd outside. Clearly, such settings were not suitable for him to be interviewed; it was more appropriate for the seven permanent mber stars of the Star System Alliance to answer.

He only represented Byron Star.

Soon, Xu Mo squeezed through the crowd and continued moving outward.

But just then, people approached from the opposite direction, fully ard, subtly encircling them and blocking Xu Mo and his party’s path.

This scene caused a stir among those behind. Xu Mo had just co out from the Star System Alliance Headquarters, yet he was imdiately surrounded?

Who was bold enough to cause trouble directly outside the Star System Alliance Headquarters?

People from all major planets haven’t even co out yet.

“Looks like mbers of the Holy Temple Knights,” soone said. mbers of the Knight Order were royal guards of the Baloma Kingdom. If they were Holy Temple Knights, they naturally belonged to Nilo.

If it was Nilo, it would be normal. That madman never followed the rules.

Xu Mo stopped, looking at the figures blocking the way. Behind them, Nilo and his party approached out of the crowd, also fully ard, staring at Xu Mo and the others with a cold glint in their eyes.

Xu Mo glanced back at Nilo, a cold gaze piercing out, causing Nilo to squint.

Did Xu Mo think he wouldn’t dare make a move?

He wanted to see who would stand up for Xu Mo today.

Xu Mo turned back and continued forward, as if ignoring the figures ahead. As he stepped, his helt snapped on, and armor illuminated with streaks of Energy Light. Simultaneously, Ye Huan and Ye Qingdie’s armor covered their bodies, ignoring the figures of Baloma Kingdom standing in front of them, continuing forward.

“Take them down,” Nilo ordered directly. Even if he acted against Xu Mo amid looming war, what could anyone do?

At this ti, internal strife within the Star System Alliance was impossible. Moreover, King Richard already disliked Xu Mo.

Behind, many people ca out, all hearing Nilo’s voice. This madman indeed made a move against Xu Mo, yet none intervened but watched to see how Xu Mo handled it.

Previously, when chatting with Xu Mo, Nan Xiangmu sensed his great confidence; he too wanted to see how Xu Mo planned to handle Nilo.

Several Holy Temple Knights moved fully ard, with a few directly soaring up, weapons in hand, approaching Xu Mo’s group while others advanced from below, aiming weapons at them, ready to take Xu Mo and his companions down. Should Xu Mo dare resist, they seed ready to open fire directly.

Seeing people approaching from air and ground, Xu Mo’s armor shone with dazzling Energy Light. Beside him, Ye Qingdie lifted her arm weapon, aiming at those advancing from the ground, while Xu Mo aid his palm at the sky.

Energy Light gathered in Xu Mo’s palm, as if a mighty light flowing into it was rushing to his armored hand.

The faces of those in the air changed slightly, seemingly sensing the threat, as they simultaneously lifted weapons and fired.

Seeing the opponent fire first, Xu Mo was no longer cautious; his armor released a blinding strong light. This strong light emitted a terrifying Superpower Beam, directly piercing through the firepower shot by the enemy, charging towards their bodies.

“Boom…”

With the descent of that strong light, the armor of several airborne individuals was imdiately pierced, their bodies exploded, and a rain of blood fell from the sky as their bodies plumted.

Kill!

Almost simultaneously, Ye Qingdie fired as well. A blinding light erupted, and with a rumbling sound, those advancing were penetrated by the light, instantly slain.

This scene stunned everyone around, mouths agape as they watched Xu Mo and Ye Qingdie open fire.

They were still wondering how Xu Mo would respond to Nilo, and then witnessed him firing directly, executing mbers of the Baloma Kingdom’s Holy Temple Knights in the most ruthless manner.

Everyone’s expressions were remarkably vivid.

Nan Xiangmu paused, almost unable to react; he had considered how Xu Mo would act but never expected him to act so decisively. This guy, ruthless enough.

Nilo was almost unable to believe his eyes as he stared at Xu Mo—could he have directly killed his people?

This was not at Lucas University, nor a challenge. Xu Mo forcibly struck down mbers of the Holy Temple Knights, royal knights of the Baloma Kingdom.

How dare Xu Mo?

Nilo’s eyes were incredibly expressive, fixating on that figure with a cold utterance: “Kill him.”

“Boom!”

Another strong light surged forth, and the remaining Holy Temple Knight was too slow to dodge, instantly pierced and killed. Explosion sounds echoed, causing those nearby to retreat, with blood staining the ground red.

Xu Mo turned to Nilo, eyes cold beneath his helt: “Today, representing Byron Star at the Star System Alliance conference, Prince Nilo of Baloma Kingdom committed assault in public, ordered his n to open fire intending to kill , violating the Star System Alliance treaty and trampling on Lucas Star law, forcing to defend myself.”
