Chapter 569: Chapter 27 Addicted to Getting Beaten Up? _2
She was sowhat unconvinced, but her opponent was indeed attacking with the sa energy intensity as her, and the outco was clearly evident, with indisputable facts before her eyes.
“What do I need to do?” asked Elizabeth.
“Training, targeted high-intensity training,” Xu Mo looked at her and asked, “Can you handle it?”
“I have no problems,” Elizabeth replied. “I have a question to ask.”
“What question?” Xu Mo inquired.
“The library has quite a few theoretical books, are they helpful for cultivation?” Elizabeth asked.
Xu Mo looked at Elizabeth and paused, it seed she was obsessed.
“Of course,” Xu Mo’s raspy voice said. “I have already finished the books on transcendent subjects in the library. If you are willing to read, I can recomnd so to you.”
Upon hearing Xu Mo’s words, a flicker of sothing different passed through Elizabeth’s beautiful eyes. This mysterious man had also finished the books on transcendent subjects?
It seed, Xu Mo did have so level, no wonder he could give guidance to Ize and Carter.
“Okay,” Elizabeth nodded.
“Pen and paper,” Xu Mo spoke, and Elizabeth brought him pen and paper. He wrote down the nas of so books; he was not inclined to recomnd proactively, but Elizabeth’s own inquiry had saved quite a bit of trouble.
After writing, Xu Mo handed the paper to Elizabeth and said, “Let’s stop here for today. You first finish these books, and I will co again when I have ti, at the sa ti as today.”
With that, he turned and left.
“Is he leaving just like that?” Elizabeth muttered softly. “Can you leave a way to contact you, how should I look for you?”
Xu Mo did not respond and continued to walk away, disappearing into the darkness.
His gaze was a bit strange; he just walked away?
Hadn’t been hit enough?
If Elizabeth knew she was blatantly beaten by Xu Mo… who knows what would happen!
Would she go berserk?
It looked like, before being exposed, he had to establish his impeccably virtuous image, or perhaps, she would never have to know, depending on the situation!
Elizabeth, however, watched Xu Mo’s disappearing back and sighed inwardly, not even willing to leave a contact?
So mysterious, who was he exactly? His fee was just a strand of hair?
Thinking this, Elizabeth felt it strange; clearly, Xu Mo had not intended to receive any fees.
However, his strength was really strong.
The next day, Elizabeth ca to the library very early. It had just opened not long ago and was still fairly empty and quiet.
Xu Mo had already begun his work, organizing books as it was his main occupation.
When Elizabeth approached, he pretended not to see her.
“These books, help find them,” Elizabeth handed the slip of paper to Xu Mo.
Xu Mo glanced at Elizabeth with a peculiar expression. The books he recomnded, and now he was expected to find them himself?
What a nice thought.
Xu Mo continued his task and said, “Miss Elizabeth, I am working, you can find them yourself in the transcendent subject area.”
“Isn’t this your job?” Elizabeth said.
“Outside the scope of my work,” Xu Mo replied.
Elizabeth frowned, then scoffed coldly, “What do you think of these books?”
“Not bad,” Xu Mo glanced and said, “Quite suitable for Miss Elizabeth, the person who recomnded these books must be exceptionally outstanding. Congratulations, Miss Elizabeth.”
“Humph,” Elizabeth’s eyes glead with a hint of subtle pride, making Xu Mo search for books was just to show him that she could manage without him.
“About the matter I ntioned last ti, you can co to find once you’ve thought it over. The terms might change, but I will still treat my servants well,” Elizabeth said proudly as she left.
“Looks like soone needs a thrashing,” Xu Mo murmured to himself, perhaps he hadn’t been harsh enough last night.
He wondered, when should he beat her again?
Today or tomorrow?
A few days later, maybe. He had to maintain a mysterious image. Won like that sort of thing.
Over the next several days, Elizabeth waited for Xu Mo in the palace on ti every day. By the fifth day, eager for his arrival, Xu Mo once again ca and severely thrashed her, even more fiercely than last ti, making Elizabeth doubt her life choices.
After the beating, Xu Mo gave so pointers before leaving, and Elizabeth politely saw him off.
Although it was sowhat displeasing to be hit, Elizabeth felt she had made so progress over these days. Although it wasn’t much, she had beco much stronger compared to her previous self when cultivating alone.
This made her look forward to their next eting.
Thus, for a long ti after, Elizabeth kept getting beaten.
Two months later.
That day, after being beaten, she felt that her strength had improved significantly compared to the first ti, improved in all aspects. Maybe, she might even challenge Sal.
“Sir, I had professional trainers at ho to accompany in my training, but why do I feel like I progress faster when training with you?” Elizabeth curiously asked.
“Did they hit you?” Xu Mo asked.
“No,” Elizabeth replied.
“Did they have a comprehensive theoretical support?” Xu Mo asked again.
“No,” Elizabeth continued shaking her head.
“There you have it, strict teachers produce capable students. They were just salaried employees, naturally flattering you and never as blunt as in pointing out your weaknesses and attacking them specifically, making you rember and improve, supported by theoretical knowledge, naturally you progress quickly,” Xu Mo explained.
