Chapter 50: Chapter 46 Hell
Xu Mo piloted his cha, bending its body as the giant sword propped against the ground, with several cracks appearing on the cha, suffering significant damage.
He knew that the cha wouldn’t last much longer.
After all, it was just an old cha.
However, Xu Mo discovered that he had an extraordinary talent for controlling chas. With the evolution of his cranial domain, he would have no opponents if he had the chance to control a more advanced cha.
Unfortunately, he didn’t have one, only a broken cha.
In front of him, the silver cha stepped toward him, the Energy Battle Blade in hand flickering with a cold blue light, like a ferocious Monster, ready to slice open Xu Mo’s body.
With his War Saber held horizontally in a sowhat disdainful posture, the City State Guard soldier controlling the cha looked contemptuously, wondering how such an outdated, rejected cha had caused them such heavy losses and rallied a rabble to charge at them.
He bent his knees slightly.
“Bang!”
A loud noise, the powerful energy sent his body flying out, streaking towards Xu Mo’s cha like lightning.
Xu Mo stood up wielding his saber, a terrifyingly explosive Power pressing down on his cha, sliding it backward, its energy intensity inferior to the opponent’s cha.
A loud noise, Xu Mo’s cha was repelled, and before it had fully stabilized, he saw the opponent’s strike coming from above.
Another intense collision occurred, Xu Mo’s cha’s knees bent, struggling to stay upright. The already damaged cha emitted cracking sounds as the cracks widened.
The War Saber’s friction as the opponent’s blade slid to the right and then chopped down again. Xu Mo kicked back and slid, a sharp, severe crackling sound resounding as his cha’s right arm was severed, sparks exploding.
Xu Mo’s cha slid back again as the opposing silver cha slowly straightened its body and looked at Xu Mo with the utmost disdain, carrying a voice from outside the cha.
“Insect!”
These civilians, just like insects, had actually inflicted considerable losses on the City State Guard.
This insect, it was for him to crush.
Insect!
Xu Mo naturally heard the opponent’s voice. The people from the Underworld were indeed like insects.
Trading, experinting, slaughtering.
How were they different from insects?
A City State Guard mber who could proficiently control a cha, must have had a certain status. In the Underworld, he was already considered an upper-tier individual, so it was no wonder he was so indifferent to life.
Human lives, like insects, like weeds.
That was also a microcosm of the ‘big shots’ of the Underworld.
“Go to Hell!”
The silver cha rushed forward again, the War Saber, flashing with blue Energy Light, cutting horizontally from Xu Mo’s severed left arm, intending to slice the cha open.
He saw Xu Mo also raising his saber, but this ti, Xu Mo didn’t block. The last of the cha’s energy concentrated on the saber, striking from the opposite direction, not at the arm but at the head.
This was a do-or-die move.
The elite City State Guard within the silver cha’s expression changed. He hadn’t expected Xu Mo to be seeking death in this manner, but how could Xu Mo’s life be compared to the value of a cha?
But it was too late to think more about it, as the War Saber cut open the old Battle Armor’s body, slashing across from the arm, severing the old cha’s body from arm to chest, while the opponent’s blade also landed on his head, like a final roar, the saber of despair cut through the silver Battle Armor’s head, sparks flying everywhere.
The two chas were destroyed at the sa mont.
The young City State Guard officer stared at the severed old cha, unexpectedly not seeing the head inside cut off. Had he dodged it?
As he watched, Xu Mo climbed out of the control room of the old cha. Dressed in pitch-black Battle Armor and wielding a War Saber, the young elite guard looked instantly concerned, realizing what Xu Mo was about to do.
Wanting to turn around, but the control system was already damaged, the cha moving erratically, it was too late to open the hatch. He pulled off the controller on his head to put on a helt.
But he saw Xu Mo lunging forward, leaping up and landing on the shoulder of the cha, the pitch-black War Saber plunging from the severed head down, stabbing straight in.
“Hiss…” Blood splattered inside the cha, the Federation Guard elite’s head pierced through, his eyes wide open, dying with eyes unshut.
Xu Mo pulled out the bloodstained War Saber.
Even ants steal a living, let alone him, a living person, not an insect!
The battle between another cha and ‘Doctor’ was also extrely brutal. The Doctor’s chanical tentacles were nearly chopped off, but the cha was also severely damaged.
In the end, the cha’s saber broke through the chanical Body and cut the Doctor open, but at the sa ti, the Doctor’s chanical tentacles burrowed into the cha, pinning the opponent inside as well.
The situation was one of mutual destruction, extrely tragic indeed.
Xu Mo dragged the War Saber forward, stepping over the bodies, the ground littered with corpses. The fierce battle had left few alive in the area.
Bodies were strewn everywhere, a microcosm of the black market, with blood and bones all along the way.
Up ahead, the fighting continued. The people in the black market were nearly wiped out. The City State Guard, in their Battle Armor, still held a significant advantage, cutting down anyone trying to escape.
Not a single person got away.
Seeing Xu Mo coming their way, several people with Energy Guns tried to block and shoot him.
“Bang, bang, bang…” The shots hit Xu Mo’s Battle Armor, causing his body to tremble continuously, but his steps didn’t stop as he walked into the gunfire step by step.
Around Xu Mo’s body, an energy vortex ford, swirling around the War Saber, which flickered with pitch-black light.
“Boom!”
With a step, Xu Mo charged forward, arriving before his enemies amid the gunfire, trailing a sharp arc—a series of wet thuds followed as heads were severed from bodies.
Blood splattered, and heads separated from their corpses.
“Bang.” Another person ahead shot at Xu Mo, and when Xu Mo looked up at him, the icy killing intent from the eyes of his Battle Armor induced a wave of intense fear, causing the City State Guard soldier to involuntarily back away.
Xu Mo charged forward, his War Saber slicing down, sending another head flying.
The others still alive actually dared not shoot at Xu Mo anymore. The pitch-black Battle Armor and the War Saber, now drenched in blood, made Xu Mo seem like a god of death. Where he went, no one was left alive.
The City State Guard fell to his blade with just one strike, let alone the Law Enforcent Team mbers.
All chas were destroyed, two elite mbers of the City State Guard were killed, and no one was left who could stand against Xu Mo or break through his Battle Armor.
The only one who might match Xu Mo in battle was probably Qin Zhong. At that mont, Ye Qingdie and the other two were desperately fighting Qin Zhong.
Ye Qingdie and her shadow double attacked from the front in their Battle Armor, while Xiao Qi ambushed from the side.
Suddenly, Xu Mo accelerated forward. Qin Zhong’s War Saber forced Ye Qingdie back; Xu Mo soared through the air, his pitch-black War Saber wrapped in an Energy Field, pressing Qin Zhong’s body down.
Xiao Qi wouldn’t miss the opportunity. Blue Energy Beams shot from her arm, hitting Qin Zhong’s leg, bending his knee.
Ye Qingdie and Shadow charged ahead, their Source Power Swords trapping Qin Zhong’s head.
“Bang.” Under the combined effort of the three, Qin Zhong could no longer support himself on his knees and knelt down. He lifted his head to stare at Xu Mo, finally realizing who controlled the cha.
Hunter.
The first ti Xu Mo fought in hand-to-hand combat was with Ryan. He watched the battle from an upper floor, and at that ti, he never would have imagined that one day, that frail Hunter would be a threat to him.
Xiao Qi rushed forward, continually shooting the enemy’s hands, causing Qin Zhong’s War Saber to fall to the ground.
Xu Mo raised his War Saber, bringing it down toward the enemy’s head.
A loud crash resounded as the War Saber broke through the energy defense and struck the helt. It didn’t break through, but Qin Zhong’s head shook violently.
Xu Mo’s War Saber struck repeatedly. Under the force of the powerful attacks, blood spilled from the corners of Qin Zhong’s mouth, his Battle Armor drained of energy.
Xu Mo raised the War Saber with both hands and brought it down from above. With a “crack,” the War Saber pierced through the helt and into Qin Zhong’s head.
Blood gushed from Qin Zhong’s mouth, his eyes staring fixedly at the figure before him, filled with disbelief and despair.
How could he die here, slain by so nobodies?
Ye Qingdie and Shadow’s War Sabers still clutched his neck; thus, Qin Zhong remained kneeling, facing the direction of the black market, towards the heaps of corpses.
“Let’s go,” said Xu Mo, and the group quickly left the scene.
Besides them, few others were still alive.
The black market’s commotion subsided, and passersby on the street peered inside, feeling nauseated at the sight of the bodies covering the ground.
Is this Hell?
Even those who had long been dissatisfied with the black market, upon seeing the scene before them, still felt a strong sense of guilt.
This was a massacre!
Were all those in the black market deserving of death?
They couldn’t help but feel desolate. After the riot, the City State Council apologized, and the Councilman was replaced.
But had the Underworld really changed?
