The center of Chuanxing City buzzed with life as a sea of people gathered outside the arena for the Transcendents’ grand competition.
Countless individuals had congregated outside the venue, enveloped in a thick atmosphere of excitent.
In the middle was an area fenced off, carving out an exclusive passage through which contestants could enter directly beneath the stadium and subsequently be lifted into the arena via an elevator chanism.
Spectators lined both sides, while official dia representatives could wait within the pathway.
At that mont, a vehicle arrived, and a row of people alighted, heading toward the stadium entrance. Among this group, surprisingly, several were cyborgs.
Although the first round was rely a preliminary selection, passing was no easy feat. In a contest of hundreds, only ten could advance, eliminating the diocre and leaving only the elite. Even if so had luck on their side, their fortune still rested on a certain level of skill.
And yet, the cyborgs attracted no attention, with no dia approaching them.
Cyborgs, beings chanically enhanced through technology rather than relying purely on their physical prowess, were far less popular than Transcendents on Byron Star. It was hard for cyborgs to attain high popularity.
Ignored by all, the cyborgs couldn’t help but feel dejected and cursed under their breath as they entered the passageway, their mood soured. Reaching this point hadn’t been easy for them, yet no one even gave them a glance.
Then, another vehicle arrived, this one from the Extraordinary Academy. A throng of dia journalists quickly surrounded it, a stark contrast to the treatnt the cyborgs had received.
However, the reaction from the surrounding crowds was not as passionate; they were still waiting.
The focus of the first qualifying match, unquestionably, lay with the Capital Royal Academy and Stark Team, or more precisely, with Lantis and Xu Mo.
Both were top-notch chanical Masters. Lantis needed no introduction, and Xu Mo had demonstrated formidable cha combat skills before.
If the two were to face off, what kind of spectacular duel would unfold?
Many were looking forward to it, pondering that the outco between these two still hung in the balance.
However, there was almost no suspense for the team’s victory. Whether or not Xu Mo piloted a cha, he had Lantis as his opponent. And with the Royal Academy’s well-balanced team of five, centered around Lantis’s cha, they still ford an elite squad.
This ti, they would not underestimate their opponents as Li Kaiyun’s team had done before. With proper preparation and Lantis holding Xu Mo at bay, the Royal Academy could easily obliterate the Stark Team.
Therefore, to the audience in Chuanxing City, there was virtually no suspense in this battle. Targeted as they were, the Stark Team was inevitably heading for defeat.
Above, a flying device descended from the sky, arriving over the passage. A few people with distinctive presence stepped down, and the dia flocked to them again, while those around them wondered which team they were from.
Their presence also seed formidable.
The participants in the qualifying match had all been selected from the preliminary round and were essentially the elite. Therefore, the overall strength was very strong and a battle royale might see many top figures erge.
Consequently, the rules of the qualifying match determined advancent by the number of eliminations. In this way, the strongest individuals from each team could be identified. It was almost impossible for an entire team to advance together; there simply wasn’t enough of the figurative cake to share.
People continued to arrive, intensifying the atmosphere even more.
At that mont, a vehicle sporting the maple leaf logo of the Capital Royal Academy slowly approached, instantly sending the area into a frenzy. When the vehicle stopped in front of the passageway and its occupants stepped out, people on both sides surged toward the entrance.
"Lantis!" soone called out, spotting the central figure from the Capital Royal Academy, his hair cut at shoulder length, standing at 182 centiters with a dashing appearance.
At Lantis’s side, soone was assisting with the entrance of his cha.
Many young won even let out shrill screams. With a Source Power Fusion Degree of S and a chanical Talent Assessnt of SS, the genius of the Capital Royal Academy was undeniably popular.
"Lantis, kick Xu Mo out of the arena," soone chanted.
"Crush his cha," yelled another who couldn’t stand Xu Mo.
Lantis walked forward calmly, as if he hadn’t heard them.
All dia reporters sward toward Lantis, with microphones thrusting forward in his direction.
"Lantis, what tactics do you plan to use against the Stark Team this ti?"
"Lantis, there are so voices in Chuanxing City suggesting that Xu Mo still has a chance to advance. He could quickly eliminate a group of competitors, and rank high enough to move on to the next round. What’s your take on this?"
Questions continued one after another. If Lantis and Xu Mo abstained from engaging in battle at the start and instead eliminated other competitors, even if Xu Mo’s team later lost to Lantis’s team and got knocked out, Xu Mo could still advance to the next round based on the number of eliminations.
Lantis halted, looked at the dia before him, and let out a statent, "He won’t have that opportunity!"
As his words fell, the surroundings erupted, and many screams pierced the air.
Authority exuded from every word!
Lantis had made his stance clear; he would not give Xu Mo any chances.
This ant that the Capital Royal Academy intended to target the Stark Group’s team first, eliminating them early, and then proceed to take down the rest.
Lantis moved toward the entrance, the dia parting way for him, and he entered the pathway leading to the arena.
At the sa ti, across Chuanxing City and its affiliated urban areas, countless people had witnessed Lantis’s interview. In a mont, emotions soared even higher.
