Who ruined my true love last ti?

Scoundrels!

"Why are you coming to if you’ve found true love?" Xu Mo asked.

"How did you chase the demoness?" Stark was curious, suspecting they must have done sothing shady without him knowing.

"Never chased her, just had a fight," Xu Mo replied.

"Get lost..." Stark hung up.

After hanging up, Xu Mo sent a ssage to Zero.

"Demoness, I’ve made quite so progress. Are you ready?"

"Waiting for you," Zero replied.

Xu Mo wondered why she spoke so gently?

She couldn’t possibly have fallen for him, could she?

Sure enough, won still need to be fought.

...

After his trial ended, Xu Mo returned to Han Garden.

A guest had arrived today, Dean Nanming.

The two elders sat together quietly chatting.

This was the first ti Xu Mo saw Dean Nanming out and about. He had aged a lot since the last ti he had seen him at the Nanming Family hostead, now with many white hairs.

Upon seeing Dean Nanming, Xu Mo wasn’t sure how to address him for a mont.

"Xu Mo is back," Dean Nanming said with a calm smile.

"Yes." Xu Mo noticed that Dean Nanming wasn’t only older, but his imposing aura had lessened, making him seem more like an ordinary old man.

The recent turmoil in Steel Do City had clearly taken a toll on him.

In fact, he hadn’t done anything wrong, and Dean Nanming had always had a good relationship with his teacher.

However, Nan Mingyuan was his biological son, and this ti it was a case of the sins of the son being paid by the father, as all Nan Mingyuan had done led to the spectacular downfall of the once-great Nanming World.

Xu Mo sighed inwardly.

"You and the teacher talk," Xu Mo spoke up, then walked behind the old man.

Dean Nanming had mustered a lot of courage to co this ti.

It was actually very hard for him to face Elder Tantai.

On one hand, because of the guilt, and on the other, because Tantai had killed his own son.

Although Nan Mingyuan brought it upon himself, it was, after all, still his son. No one else could understand the complexity of his emotions, and it was impossible to say that he harbored no resentnt at all; no one could do that.

But he also understood that, from Tantai’s standpoint, there was no reason not to kill him just because he was his son.

"I always used to mock you for being all alone, but now, your place is lively while mine is desolate," Dean Nanming began, his voice lancholic.

No one was left by his side.

Perhaps, there really was a flaw in his way of raising his children.

"The sa, they’re all leaving soon too," Elder Tantai replied. "When you get old, you eventually end up alone; young people have their own worlds."

"That’s true," Dean Nanming nodded. "Are they all planning to go to the Capital?"

"Yes, all of them," Elder Tantai nodded.

"Then we’re the sa," Dean Nanming said with a laugh, though his smile was bitter.

It was still different; his grandchildren had left without even saying goodbye.

Maybe they also harbored so resentnt against him.

"After they leave, if you feel lonely, co talk to ," Dean Nanming said.

"Sure," Elder Tantai nodded. "You too."

"It’s getting late; I should head back," Dean Nanming stood up.

"Let see you out," Elder Tantai also stood up and the two old n walked towards the exit.

He knew his old friend might never co again.

Xu Mo watched the backs of the two old n. Though they walked together as if nothing had changed, everything had changed.

There was no going back.

When Dean Nanming was leaving, Xu Mo noticed his figure looked lonely.

"Xu Mo, maybe I should stay here and take care of the teacher," Elsa said softly, looking at the old man’s receding figure. She had overheard the two elders’ conversation and felt reluctant to leave Elder Tantai alone in Steel Do City.

"Nonsense," the Old Dean ca back upon hearing Elsa. "Didn’t Xu Mo already arrange everything? He will see you off to the Capital’s Music Academy. You and Mia can study together; it’s been your dream for a long ti."

"Yes," Elsa sighed inwardly; it had always been her dream.

Xu Mo had ntioned that Stark would make all the necessary arrangents for the Capital.

The Music Academy was different from the Extraordinary Academy; it wasn’t as strict. With Stark’s ’Money Ability,’ getting them into the Music Academy wouldn’t be difficult.

"But teacher, you..." Elsa looked at the old man, unable to bear it.

"I’m fine, really. The Noah Academy isn’t far from here; they can visit from ti to ti," the old man spoke.

"Teacher, won’t you consider coming with us?" Xu Mo asked.

"What would I do there?" the old man shook his head. "I’m old and don’t have the energy for such things anymore; it’s ti for to enjoy my old age. When you have children, bring them here to give this old man so joy."

"Teacher, you’re thinking too far ahead," Xu Mo said; he was still young!

"If you’re willing, it’s not that far off," the old man said aningfully, hinting that if this lad wanted to, there wouldn’t be a lack of girls willing.

Xu Mo felt slightly embarrassed.

"They’re about to depart at the academy; you should go too, don’t delay. Don’t you want to see your girlfriend sooner?" the old man said to Xu Mo.

"Um..."

Xu Mo looked at the old man.

"Teacher, I’m not dating anyone," Xu Mo said.

The old man gave him a knowing look, suggesting this disciple might not be able to handle that girl.
