However, it seed that the Gene Company had already done such things in the Underworld, where they imprisoned humans underground, treated them like livestock, and conducted human experints.
So, to the people of Steel Do City, did they consider them any different?
The arrogant Gene Company probably never valued them at all.
All of this was too ironic.
Above Steel Do City, protective shields were being destroyed one after another, plunging the citizens into profound pessimism.

At this mont, Xu Mo’s cha climbed back up, and Shen Qianzhong was watching Xu Mo’s direction intently.

Just then, another line of figures appeared before Xu Mo, including chanical Masters piloting chas and Genetic Warriors prepared by the Gene Company for Xu Mo.
"Boom, boom, boom..." The cha fire power was unleashed on Xu Mo, hitting his cha’s body, causing Xu Mo’s cha to tremble, becoming sowhat unstable, its massive fra looking as if it might fall at any mont.
At this ti, Xu Mo’s consciousness was already becoming increasingly blurred, and he couldn’t hold on much longer; he was barely hanging on.
The whole world was a blur, as if he might collapse at any mont.
Raising his left chanical arm, Xu Mo fired off a barrage.
"Boom!" A round of sweeping fire took down several chas, and so Genetic Warriors were shot through.
"Kill." They continued to fire into the void, while the Genetic Warriors closed in on Xu Mo.
"Boom..." Xu Mo’s body charged forward, his War Saber sweeping out, cutting through the space, slicing two Genetic Warriors in half.
As Xu Mo paused, his body beca ethereal.
anwhile, above their heads, the Shield kept breaking under the assault, as monstrous creatures dived down, darkening the vast space as if engulfed by shadows, with beasts crashing down frenetically, causing nurous fighter jets to explode in the sky.
Shen Han and Shen Qianzhong also looked up at the sky; the Gene Company had gone mad.
"Roar..." A gigantic Monster charged towards where Xu Mo’s cha was, Xu Mo raised the Energy Battle Blade in his hand and struck out directly, its "pu chi" sound ringing out as the terrifying Energy Blade cut the body of the Monster open, still harboring an imnsely dominant Power.
Monsters also attacked Shen Han and Shen Qianzhong, but both remained extrely agile. Even without his Armor, Shen Han’s Combat Power was still formidable, killing several Monsters that were rushing at them.
In the direction of the City Governnt, buildings were also being impacted by the Monsters, crumbling chaotically.
Skyscrapers were collapsing, and the civil strife had left the City Governnt defenseless.
Within the City Governnt, there was an underground prison.
In the dark cell, a figure sat quietly, wearing tattered robes and with a few strands of white hair hanging in front of his forehead, hiding his eyes and making him look particularly aged.
This figure was Tan Taiming.
After his arrest, he was locked up here.
Actually, he didn’t care about where he was imprisoned. At the ti of his arrest, he had already been profoundly disillusioned with the City Governnt, the Academy Faction, and the entire Steel Do City.
After his arrest, those in power didn’t treat him too harshly, but he knew that each day, his food contained drugs that numbed his nerves, gradually paralyzing them until he turned completely into an old, useless man.

The Old Dean stood up and looked outside. What had happened?

The City Governnt was under attack, with fundantally only two possibilities.
One was that the Monsters had completely overrun the city and penetrated the City Governnt. If that was the case, then Steel Do City was almost certainly facing its end; if the City Governnt had fallen, what of other areas?
The second possibility was a man-made attack.
Nan Mingyuan, with power in his grasp, who else in Steel Do City could be his rival?
Xu Mo!
Unless they were the ones who had attacked the City Governnt.
The Old Dean was unaware that both possibilities he guessed were happening simultaneously.
In an instant, his figure straightened up, a burst of bright light erupted from within him, sending streams of Energy Light coursing over his body.
At this mont, the Old Dean seed to be rejuvenated.
"Crack..." His fists clenched, the Energy Light moved, and the Old Dean leaped upwards, punching directly towards the sky above his head.
