Xu Mo returned to his dwelling to find only Elsa there; this area had yet to be affected by the monsters.
"Xu Mo." Elsa rushed up to him as he returned, worry evident in her voice, "What about Sister Xi and Sister Butterfly?"
Her heart had been in her throat ever since the monsters broke through the protective shield.
"They’re fine, they’re fighting along with the teachers and the academy," Xu Mo said. "I’m going to pilot the cha."
"Okay," Elsa followed him.
"Sun Fatty, let go, I want to fight monsters with Brother Xu Mo too!" Sun Xiaoxiao tried to rush out of the flying device but was caught by Sun Fatty.
"Xiao Xiao, your mom still needs you to protect her," Sun Fatty advised.
"Oh, right." Sun Xiaoxiao blinked, "Sun Fatty, then you should hurry back."
Saying so, she obediently boarded the flying device, and Sun Fatty piloted it away from the area.
He had only his precious daughter; he couldn’t bear to let her go into battle to fight monsters. This wasn’t a trial in the Ruins World, it wasn’t a ga, and there was a real danger to life if one was not careful.
Not long after Sun Fatty left, a black cha walked out from the room, its cold and sharp appearance imposing a sense of solemn and deadly silence.
The cha, Black Death God.
"Elsa, if the monsters reach this area, go hide in the basent," Xu Mo reminded Elsa.
"I know, Xu Mo, be careful," Elsa reminded him back.
"I know," Xu Mo nodded, power activated.
A powerful energy burst forth from the cha’s feet, and with the propulsion of its powerful thrusters, the cha shot straight into the sky.
"So fast..."
Xu Mo had yet to fully adjust. The Black Death God was completely different from any cha he had piloted before; its power system was incomparable, and its speed was terrifying.
"Hum." The black figure rushed out, turning into a phantom.
Under the intense operating state of the powerful cha, the speed was frightening. The human body was not accustod, couldn’t keep pace with the neuro-response speed, so it demanded a lot from the pilot. One had to be exceptionally strong themselves, with acute neuro-response speeds, to make correct decisions during high-speed combat.
Therefore, ordinary people simply couldn’t control a powerful cha like this.
But Xu Mo was sowhat special; his brain could absorb Source Power and was constantly evolving, working at high speeds, much like a machine. Hence, he was capable of controlling a powerful cha.
The black shadow dashed rapidly through the sky, many on the ground saw the black figure whizzing high above, heading towards the battlefield to support the fight.
"So fast."
Xu Mo felt that even with his neuro-response speed, piloting the Black Death God in high-speed combat would still be very strenuous, it would not be as easy as before.
Previously, piloting a cha had been absolutely effortless for him.
Xu Mo was rapidly approaching the battlefield and it wasn’t long before he could see the monsters.
Monsters that had poured out of the breach hadn’t been fully sealed off, they were spreading outwards, and the ard forces of Steel Do City were counterattacking, no longer fleeing in panic as they had at the start.
"Buzz..." A massive B grade monster charged in Xu Mo’s direction.
The black silhouette streaked through the void like lightning, with an Energy Battle Blade in its right hand.
As the cha moved at high speed toward the monster, it suddenly shifted, passing right by the creature. The black Energy Battle Blade cleaved through the monster’s body, causing a rain of blood to fall from the sky as the creature’s corpse plumted.
Xu Mo did not slow in the slightest, continuing forward; the cha’s left arm was in gun form, and he fired continuously as he pressed on.
The Black Death God had three combat forms, and in gun form, it had the power of A minus grade. Any monster hit would have its body pierced imdiately.
Xu Mo plowed ahead, leaving a trail of fallen monsters in his wake.
By the ti he reached the center of the battlefield, chaos still reigned.
Building after building tilted and collapsed, turning many places in this area into ruins eerily similar to those of the Ruins World.
At that mont, Xu Mo had a sense of unreality, as if he were in the midst of the Ruins World.
Students of the Extraordinary Academy were doing their utmost to seal off this area, with nurous fighter jets joining the fray. However, monsters were continuously pouring into the area from above, preventing any quick cleanup of the battlefield. Many monsters had broken through the encirclent and were rampaging in other parts of the city.
In the midst of battle, several chas and fighter jets were cornering a monster.
This monster had a flat body with wings and was extrely fast; its huge body was bathed in electricity.
The monster hurtled towards a specific location at a terrifying speed. The surrounding fire rained down on it, but still, it wasn’t killed.
"Boom..." With a loud noise, a fighter jet was hit by the monster’s feathers and sliced in half, turning into debris.
"Energy level A grade."
System prompts erged from the Black Death God, able to detect the energy level of the monster.
"A kill is possible."
Xu Mo’s left arm switched weapon modes; the chanical Cannon’s power level was A .
Charging necessary.
"Lock on target." The chanical arm raised to lock onto the monster, auto-focusing. The monster seed to sense sothing and looked towards Xu Mo’s cha, emitting a sharp, piercing scream. It opened its mouth and spat a beam of light towards Xu Mo.
"Hum."
Xu Mo moved, the beam grazed past him and hit the building behind him, piercing straight through.
