Instead of putting away the Black Revolver, Kael kept holding it in his hand and kept trying to rember its touch.

'I must improve the control of the Black Revolver, and thus, the easiest way is to make it seem like it is just another part of my body.

'Thus, the only solution I have is to keep holding the Black Revolver and never let it go, until it becos an extension of myself.'

He then turned his attention to the rubber bullet and took it into his other hand—he kept rubbing it against his palm—as he also tried to get an understanding of its touch.

'To learn how to craft different kinds of bullets, I need to imagine how the bullet feels to the touch, how it would look, and how it feels to shoot it.

'Because of Willow, I already know all those things, and maybe that's how she wanted it to be—to see whether I could figure it out by myself.

'If she really wanted to keep the rubber bullet all to herself, she would've never challenged to the Play Fight otherwise.

'I guess that's also why she never requested to get that rubber bullet back. I am sure that she knew that I still had one bullet left.'

Kael put the rubber bullet back on the desk, took a rusty nail from the desk's drawer, and covered it with his hand.

'Let's see…'

With a deep breath, he closed his eyes.

He imagined the orange rubber bullet inside his mind, imagined its touch, and imagined how it would feel to shoot it from his Black Revolver.

The rusty nail disappeared from his hand, and he felt that sothing else was there instead.

After opening his hand, he saw the sa old bullet—the crafting failed—and instead of crafting a rubber bullet, he created the normal one.

'It failed.'

Kael frowned.

'Hmm, she did create the sa colored rubber bullet as her revolver. Is that the clue behind creating this rubber bullet?'

Crimson light ca through the open-curtained window and landed on the beautiful face of Ivy Monroe.

She was sitting at her desk and took out a silver-rimd tipiece.

She put it to lean against a coffee cup, made sure it was facing towards her, and with a key, she opened the drawer and brought out a strange-looking notebook.

It was bound in leathery flesh and stitched with thread that whispered in the dead of the night. It was of brown color, slled like burned wood, and had its na carved into leather with a knife.

[The Sanity Notebook]

With a smile on her face, she started reading through its countless pages and did so till the tipiece struck midnight and the candle burned out.

"It's ti!"

She put the notebook back inside the desk.

Then, with excitent, she quickly walked to the center of the room, clapped her hands together, and walked backwards until she made a square with her feet.

"Realm Between~ Realm Between~ Ho Sweet Ho~"

With those words, the mist poured inside the room and took her away, and when she woke up again, she was standing under a clear sky with no sign of the mist or the room she had just left.

Behind her, there was a half-crumbled stone gateway, and she then began walking down a path that appeared to lead into a cliff overlooking forests and mountains.

Strangely enough, there was a stone bench positioned at the edge of the cliff, offering a perfect view of the scenery.

She sat down, put her hands on top of her lap, and looked across the magnificent landscape until her gaze landed at the foggy mountains in the distance.

It was the border of the Shattered Peninsula that she had always dread of exploring.

"You're again looking over there."

A voice ca from behind her, which made her smile like a young maiden in love, and then a young man sat beside her.

"I am just really curious what's out there, you know. Shattered Peninsula, I've only heard stories about that place from you, but I am still too weak to go over there!"

Ivy said, turned to look at the handso young man beside her, and smiled.

With deep black eyes, hair that was darker than the night around them, and white hair, he turned to look at the beautiful green-eyed young woman.

"We've been eting each other for about a month now, and yet, I still don't know your na. You know mine…"

Ivy said.

"…Shall we trade then? You ntioned sothing about the Sanity Notebook. Can you tell more about that, and I shall give you my na?"

He said.

"Hmm~"

Ivy tapped her chin, giggled, and nodded with the word 'ok' leaving her cute lips.

"It's basically a journal of many Mystics before . The further they advanced in the Pathway, the madder they got because of all the things they started to see that weren't ant to be seen.

"The Sanity Notebook has been passed down for centuries now, and every Mystic who has been in possession of that has written down their experiences there.

"They did that because they want to help Mystics that co after them, to help them to deal with the ever-increasing madness, and now, I am in the possession of that."

She said, then turned to him with a smile, and asked.

"Now, what's your na~"

With a chuckle, the young man said.

"Amok… Amok Forancis."

"That's such a pretty na."

Ivy said with a blush, put her hair over her ear, and then looked away with a shy smile because of her bold comnt just now.

"…"

Amok wasn't smiling, looked at the side of her face with a cold gaze, and then smiled a smile that looked quite fake.

"I'd like to co see you in Whitesky; can that be possible?"

He asked.

"Really? Are you sure you want to leave the Realm Between? Isn't your family living here, so won't they get worried?"

Ivy asked.

"Haha, I will consider it as a vacation. I had always loved to see the Whitesky's beautiful hues at the sunset, and I'd like to co see you there."

Amok said, and touched her soft hand, which earned another blush from her, and she twirled the hair around her finger before she nodded ekly.

"Okay… I am at Dark Jewel's Corner. I am studying there in the School of Divinity and Mysticism, but I don't think they will let visitors there.

"However, we can always et outside the school grounds!"

Ivy said excitedly.

"That sounds good."

Amok smiled, but there was sothing very off with that smile, as his eyes were far from smiling.
