In the attic, with the light killed and darkness enveloping the room, Aren slowly sat up on his bed and looked to the corner of the room.
Mira was sleeping there, snuggled under the bed, and this ti around, wasn't trying to kill him while he was sleeping.
It seed like after the full dinner and that little chase after, she beca quite tired and was sleeping like a log.
However, Aren couldn't go just yet, as today was Sunday, and thus, the eting of the Society of Knowers was happening.
Since he was aware of this eting, he rode through all night and madly sprinted to Kornacis so he could arrive in ti for the eting.
He arrived way earlier, which allowed him to do a few other things before the eting, but now it was ti to head over to the Realm Between.
Aren left the attic, went to the second floor, and entered one of the vacant rooms. He prepared the ritual there.
He couldn't do it in the attic anymore because of Mira's presence there, and with him saying, "Realm Between~ Realm Between~" and clapping his hands, he could wake her up accidentally.
With a deep breath, Aren clapped his hands together, walked backwards a square, and started chanting the sa old, "Realm Between~ Realm Between~"
At that mont, mist poured from under the window fras and filled the room with Aren in it in a suffocating embrace.
"Ah…"
With a gasp, he disappeared into the mist.
…
Realm Between, Shattered Peninsula, the ruined town.
"Lord!"
At the mirror stone table, lia jumped to her feet excitedly as she saw the faceless young man walking over to them.
The other mbers of the Society of Knowers were equally surprised to see him and were glad enough to know that nothing bad happened to him over in Black Market.
"Hello."
Aren said with a nod, took his spot at his throne, and then crossed his legs under the stone table.
"I assu everything went well over in Black Market?"
Eron asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, yes, it was a wonderful ti. I found another mory crystal over in Black Market, one of the rchants was in possession of one."
Aren said.
"Really?!"
lia gasped in surprise, and everyone also shifted in their chairs, quite curious about what that mory crystal consisted of.
"What was the mory about?"
Morgana asked.
"You don't need to tell us if you don't want to, Lord."
lia added.
"I don't mind sharing it. It was the location of one of the Lord of the Realm Between's money stashes over in the Black Market. I think he… or I, in this case, left that mory crystal intentionally there.
"I am not quite sure how that rchant ended up getting his hands on the mory crystal, but he clearly didn't know the value of the item."
Aren said.
"I am not surprised. The knowledge about mory crystals is not widespread. The only reason we know about mory crystals is because I actually used one of those crystals."
Alec said.
"You did?"
Aren said in surprise.
"…Mhm."
Aren nodded.
"…Rabbit over here has visited Sefirah Zero in person. The slaves of Rav'akari, the forr citizens of the Realm Between, buried the Lord of the Realm Between's body, and in his pocket, there was a mory crystal.
"Rabbit was one of the slaves, actually. Back then, he was just a child, but he got his hands on the mory crystal, and without knowing what it actually was, he accidentally used it.
"It contained information about what mory crystals are. Unfortunately, it didn't include the locations of those mory crystals."
lia said.
"…About ten years ago, I escaped Sefirah Zero during the Great Slave Uprising. I was one of the few that actually managed to escape.
"I thought this knowledge I received would die with , but then, I happened to join the Society of Knowers completely unexpectedly, and I told them what I know."
Alec said with a heavy look.
"Very lucky, huh, haha!"
Aren said with a smirk.
The mbers of the Society of Knowers chuckled in response, but even they weren't the biggest believers in luck or coincidence.
They believed that there was greater aning and purpose behind their so-called "luck," and they were big players in the ga of fate.
"Does anyone have anything to check from the mirror?"
lia asked.
Everyone looked at each other. No one seemingly had anything. And thus, it looked like the eting would end shortly.
"I have sothing, but it isn't mirror-related. I'd like to learn more about the concept of fighting, and if anyone has so recomndations for great teachers, I am all ears."
Aren said.
He was determined to start properly training, and currently, his divinity situation was looking decent enough.
There was still so distance before he was at level 3, but his great acting over in Hauwnted family boosted it significantly.
It hadn't been long since he had beco level 2, and he was already making great progress, which was quite impressive.
"You would need soone knowledgeable about Outlaw abilities. I know there are plenty of Fighter teachers, but you need more than that."
Rune said with his usual cold tone.
"I know that at level 4, Outlaws receive their own close combat weapon. It's random for everyone, but you might get a knife, dagger, sword, or anything, really.
"You could start training with Fighter while holding your future in mind."
Alec said.
"I need to learn how to fight with a gun. It's my primary weapon, after all."
Aren said, then pulled out his black revolver and held it in both hands while pointing the barrel a distance away.
"I could help you with being target practice. While we, the Society of Knowers, gather together to share information, we are also actively helping each other to beco stronger."
lia said with a smile.
In that mont, she waved her hand, and she created several dolls as targets over in the ruined town.
So were standing on top of roofs of dilapidated buildings, while a few were hiding in the alleyways, and others were running between buildings.
